This hotel is at the bottom of White beach with a lovely view from the dining area. It is very clean and the staff lovely with nice big quality rooms. Location wise it is probably the best area as it is slightly quieter and more western and still right on a beautiful area of beach. Having looked at other hotels whilst in the area walking around we are glad we booked this one and I would say it is probably one of the best places to stay on white beach. My absolutely only criticism is that there is no water cooler or complimentary coffee for guests like many others have have, for such a good set up I’m surprised they missed this.

Stayed here for a few nights in late February. Comfortable hotel, right on the beach where you can walk up and down visiting restaurants, shops and bars. Breakfast included - all very nice. Ground floor en suite room and they even provided a refrigerator on request and arranged an island hopping and snorkelling trip.

Together with my wife, we spend 9 nights in this amazing place. The location is perfect the resort is situated at Angol Beach on the end of White Beach. The area is not crowded, the neighborhood is charming. The staff is very attentive and super friendly. Mam Debbie, Sir Dong, Mara, and our evening guard. The room was so clean. The design all through the facility has a great line from the color selection to the detailed clam paintings on the wall to the bamboo furniture, all fitting the natural environment.
Food was always freshly cooked and very delicious. We highly recommend this place and we will come back on our next trip to Boracay 😍

Transportation: Easily Accessed by tricycle thru Angol Road (Thank you to the local who told us about this access road)

Location: If you want to have this serene, calm, peaceful, and natural island vibe, station 3 is the best. But, Hotel 357 is divine. Imagine waking up at 5am so you can run to the beach is crazy euphoric.
Having breakfast by the shore, 357 has its own beach front. So peaceful.

Hotel and Amenities: The room was great. Tropical vibe. Everything we need was there except for the toothbrush and toothpaste which is okay because we brought our own.
Towels, linens, toiletries, fridge, are there. Interior design and lighting is up to date. (Doesn’t feel or look old)

There’s also an improvised GYM near the front of the hotel which I love.

Hotel Staffs: Amazing staffs. The Hotel manager is ever accommodating to the guests. Love them!

Food: The breakfast food is sumptous. Nakaka busog.

Coming to the 357 we were greeted with a welcome drink before taken to our room. Our room overlooked the beach with lovely sunsets and listening to the waves at night. This part of the beach is very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is clean and well kept, food is good for a 3 star hotel and staff is friendly. I would definitely come back to 357 if we return to Boracay!

It's our 5th time in Boracay and we always stay at station 3. It was our first time at 357 but it will not be the last. Wonderful and clean room, great staff, delicious food. Our room was with sea view and it was the best. Best mango and banana shake ever and it is a must try!!! They are soooo huge! We loved the place and thank you guys all so much!

Definitely not worth a dime! I should have read more reviews before making a reservation at this resort. They say that this is a luxury boutique resort but all I see is a rundown room that needs repainting. We got the suite and all it had were moldy-smelling bamboo furnitures. Bed linens looked and felt very old and not very comforting to sleep. Air-conditioning unit was noisy and old which doesn't cool the room that much. Room in itself is not worth your money. Wifi is so slow that I can't even post on instagram. Tried in other restaurants at D'Mall and it was fast. Breakfast was mediocre and portion was small with bland taste. Think twice before hitting that reservation button!

SERVICE is top notch. All the employees serve you with genuine care. One memorable event is during our departure, a resort employee (Antonio) even carried our bags all the way back to Caticlan bus terminal. He took the boat ride with us to make sure we got on our bus. That was beyond my expectations.

VALUE ... For the price, this is a great resort. Don't underestimate this place. Even though this maybe a small hotel with only about 10-11 rooms, the quality, service, beauty and attention to detail of this resort is really 4-5 star.

SLEEP QUALITY was great. My wife is a light sleeper and often doesn't have good sleep. The fact that she had deep 8-9 hr of sleep every night means the beds and pillows were cozy and comfy. I was worried about her sleep quality and this hotel put all my fears at ease.

FOOD was excellent. We upgraded from the continental to the American breakfast and every morning was filling and satisfying. When you upgrade, you can choose between American, Filipino or pancake Supreme breakfast. Breakfast comes with 2 eggs of your choice, a drink (coffee, tea, chocolate, juice), rice or toast, one meat: bacon, ham, corned beef, beef tapa, bangus, tocino or longganisa and finish with a tropical fruit (mango, pineapple or banana). I highly recommend the bangus.

LOCATION was wonderful. This resort is situation on the quiet beach front of station 3. I woke up to sunrise and sunset by the beach. If you are in Boracay for some peace and quiet, this is the resort for you. If you want to party and go shopping, you can walk 30 min to Dmall or take a tricycle.

CLEANLINESS was unbeatable. Not a spot of sand or dust or critters in the rooms. It is unavoidable that you will track sand into your room when you come in from the beach. But the staff clean your room everyday so your room will be fresh and clean.

ROOM was very beautiful. We booked an executive room for our family of 2 adults and 2 small kids. I was worried the room would be too small for us. But the room was just right with 1 queen and 2 singles.

WONDERFUL EXTRAS: free beach towels everyday for relaxing by the beach, or for your massage by the shore or for your island hopping adventures. You don't need to bring any towels to Boracay. Save your luggage space.

TIP: book your water activities with the hotel connections to avoid getting a bad experience (scammers). Talk to Debbie, hotel manager, or any of the resort staffs.

TIP: Do not buy certain large sea shells because some are not permitted to be taken out of the island. They may be confiscated at the airport. We bought some in Puka beach but unfortunately could not bring home with us.

This is great little boutique hotel as close to the beach as you can get. Just step off the dining deck and you're on the beach path, ten feet later you're on the beach. There are lovely, tall palm trees... it is very nice indeed. However, I only rated this a 3 - and there are good reasons for that rating. However, I need to preface my comments by saying how much I enjoyed my stay here. It was a great, relaxing place to decompress after a couple of weeks working long days in Manila.

So, what's the problem, you ask?

I wanted an ocean view room and they offered the 357 Suite. The photo (of the bed) looked great. And the room did have an ocean view and the bed was as pictured, but it is not a suite. (I didn't require a suite, but when you're booked into what's called a suite, you expect, well, a suite. This was a bedroom, with a sliding glass door that opened onto a balcony (more on this later) and it had a private toilet and washroom with a shower. I've stayed in many suites, and you at a minimum expect more space. This was comfortable for me, but if my wife were traveling with me, we would have been really cramped.

The bathroom is also small. Normally a "suite" has a nicely upgraded bathroom, but this was a sink, a toilet and a "corner shower" you know, one of those small things you might find in an RV or trailer. There was no sense of design or decor in the bathroom. Please understand, I'm not slamming this resort -- I liked it a lot -- but when you book a place it is sometimes nice to see an honest assessment of what you're getting. You want the surprises on your vacation to be happy ones, not disappointing ones.

It's a common rule that you can judge a hotel by its towels; big, thick towels equate with creature comforts and attention to detail, small thin towels typically mean the finer points are slipping a bit. Yep, 357 Boracay had basic cheap towels. (Note: I had just come from the Crown Plaza hotel in Manila - not a world class 5 star establishment by any measure - but it had nice big thick towels. If they can do it for their hundreds of rooms then a boutique can do it for 10 rooms.)

The room (I can't bring myself to call it a suite) had a sliding glass door that opened onto a balcony that looked out at the palm trees on the beach, and beyond those you could see the water. Very nice, but it's weird to sit on your balcony enjoying the view and have other hotel guests walk out and enjoy the hotel balcony -- which is between you and the view! So, it's private in the sense that there's a fence around your space, but it really is just a corner of the common area.

It doesn't sound like it, but I really do like this place - but their website gave me a much more luxurious expectation than was realized upon checking in... and that is what I want to help balance a bit by my review.

Finally, the weirdest thing, was that you had to pay the full amount of the stay prior to arrival - in order for your reservation to be confirmed. This (for me) was a real pain. They did not accept PayPal, they would not use MoneyGram, my only choices were Western Union (which I could never get to work online) and a wire transfer into their bank. I tried to pay them for two weeks. Finally, since I was in Manila, I spent an hour in a taxi to go to their office in Makati and give them cash -- at which time they couldn't even provide change for the payment. Guys, this is the 21st century... you have to figure out how to accept credit cards. At least offer PayPal as an option.

Ok... enough of the problem areas. Now, for some compliments.

The room was really pretty. The bed was nice with its net covering (not a true mosquito net, but it looked nice).

Breakfast was good. (Note: only the continental breakfast was included in the room rate - a full breakfast was a more expensive option, which I did every day)

Location is amazing. Close to the boats that bring you from Caticlan, and right on the beach.

They have beach chairs and beach towels. Not all places do.

The cost was reasonable.

I loved the atmosphere, the vibe, here - it was very "beachy" - you knew you were on vacation every moment.

Debbie, the manager, was on top of everything - from the welcome cold drink and shell necklace, to booking any activity you desired. Except changing money, but there are many places that are on the beach that show their rates on a board so you can shop before you do your forex.

On the website for this hotel they are justifiably proud of their awards - but you'll notice there have been none for the past seven years. That's my basic feeling about this place - it was great, and now it is kind of coasting and if it doesn't pick up steam soon, it will join the group of mediocre establishments of which it is said, "this could be a really nice place if they would only..."

That being said, I'd go back again tomorrow!

When we got to this resort, it obviously was not a resort as I understand the term. It was a small hotel, and a mediocre one at that. The front lawn was screened in with 12-foot tall sagging black netting that gave the impression of a dog-fighting farm.

The staff insisted on paying for our whole stay in advance and we were given a room with no view and our window opened on a construction site next door. We didn't notice this at first and when we returned from our lunch we couldn't sleep because of the continuous banging and shouts. (The noise continued for the rest of our stay on the island, beginning early in the morning and continuing late into night.)

We asked for a different room and were shown another one with the same construction noise. We asked for our money back and were refused any refund due to policy. After only a few hours, we checked out and went to the Boracay Beach Club Resort and got a much better room for slightly more money.

I have since e-mailed the manager and she accuses us of not being cooperative. In the end we paid for 4 nights but didn't stay even one night and we have consistantly been refused a refund for any portion of our stay. We remain very disappointed in the service of 357 Boracay; it is absolutely no resort and we will never return.
