LOCATION: The beachfront area is so nice and photogenic and one of the few resorts in station 1 with a very nice view from their beach beds and cabana. The lush areas inside the resort are so relaxing and peaceful...besides the location is accessible to the back road and the beachfront. SERVICE: The staff is very friendly & attentive to guests’ needs. Thanks to Marje & Yves for making our stay extra special😍... JR & Wrwin in the resto, to the attendant on the beachfront who always greets my child and provide beach towels... ROOMS: Rooms are tidy and clean with enough space for a family. If you have kids get the lower floor rooms. If you are looking for a nice beachfront and value for money this resort is highly recommended.

For our stay, we booked a roundtrip airport transfer from and to the airport through the hotel. We were asked to pay in advance the amount of 4,000 PHP via bank transfer to the hotel and in addition to cover all bank charges. This has cost us a total of over 5,200 PHP. Despite sending the bank transfer confirmations several times, the hotel claimed until the day before arrival that they had not received the money and that we would have to pay the amount of 4,000 PHP upon arrival. So we had already a bad feeling to arrive to this place. At the arrival to the hotel, it was finally affirmed that they had received the money, but only 3,800 PHP instead of 4,000 PHP – so we were asked to pay another 200 PHP. We did not pay anything more to the hotel, as we already had to pay another 300 PHP at the port during the transfer, as the hotel had wrongly booked us as "locals" without transmitting this extra fee for „foreigners“ to the port. Despite repeated requests, we did not yet receive any written proof from the hotel that only 3,800 PHP had been credited to their bank account. Also whe have never seen the remaining 100 PHP that they still owe us. The bottom line we were ripped of for over 5,500 PHP for an airport transfer and were not treated very badly. If you organise the airport transfer on your own directly after arrival at the airport, it's a lot cheaper and less stressful. About the hotel itself: (+) good location next to the beach (+) friendly service staff at the restaurant and the beach (-) rooms are only cleaned on request (-) instead of a buffet, you have to tick on an order form the day before which breakfast you would like to have the next day, and on what time. (-) the room and the facilities are run down for this price class. (-) very deceptive and rude behavior of the receptionists. Overall, unfortunately not up to the positive and friendly experiences we had in other hotels in the Philippines. So better search for another hotel an organise the transfer by yourself.…

Ive visited boracay 3 times already but this is the most memorable one, i enjoy the friendliness of staff, crew, guards, receptionist, chef they are the best! We stay for one week and i must say i was able to relax and so my husband just staying on the beach have massage and enjoy it. Thank you for all the staff who made our 4th wedding anniv memorable they were able to accommodate my surprise dinner request and my husband also arrange a surprise bouquet of flowers and the staff made it even more beautiful. Definitely we will go back again to Sur.

My partner and I booked this hotel for our brother and his wife honeymoon as a gift and from the comments and shared stories/experience with the hotel, it was an amazing one. The hotel is very clean and comfy. The crew are so accommodating and respectful. With the price we paid, I believe it was all worth it. Once again, thank you SUR!

The staff is great, friendly and helpfull rating 10 , the happy hour delicious rating 9, beach view fantastic rating 10, tripple room on groundfloor terrible, big but wrong layout, washbasin in Shower !!, bidet spray and toilet paper unreachable, had to crawl from bottum of bed to my pillow rating 4. Hotel is great for friends , beachfront area is the best.

Nicest beachfront area. Open dining area overlooking the sea. Good food at reasonable prices. Cool A/C. Strong water pressure. Reliable wifi and flat-screen tv with lots of programs/channels available. Very clean rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Safe and secure (controlled entry and exit). We stayed for 3D/2N. The place was clean. All the staff are friendly and will cater to your needs. The room we stayed in was sanitized and cleaned. The ambience was so relaxing and peaceful. The breakfast was good. There's no pool but it was okay because you have access to the beach right in front of you :) I will bring my family next time here in this hotel.

This is a perfect resort and the quiet end of the beach but close enough to all bars and restaurants if needed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and the bar area is peaceful and right on the beach. When we were asked to pay an additional 150 for 'foreigners' at the ferry port, the receptionist refunded it straight away. I would always stay here again if I came back to Borocay. We need a quite location and this was extremely quiet.

We always stay here whenever we are in Boracay. Our latest trip was to celebrate my parents' birthday. The rooms are really nice and clean. They provide you with the basic necessities. Breakfast although plated is satisfying and more than enough. We always take it at their very spacious cabana where we lounge on just before heading out of lunch (I know another meal :)) Best part is the staff, really friendly and they always remember us everytime we go back. The location is very ideal for people who wants to chill and relax. No Heavy partying just the right vibe to enjoy your day under the sun. They have a resto and bar that is just right. Staff was great, everyone is very helpful and courteous. For it’s location, the price is reasonable. Amenities are good enough. They dont have a swimming pool. But I didn’t go to Boracay for the swimming pool but for the Crystal clear white beach! Truly amazing experience, I will definitely go back to Sur..
