Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the Turtle Inn for 15 nights in December. Although we were a bit unlucky with the weather, the staff made the experience are very positive one!
We had a great and very relaxing time at the Turtle Inn. The staff was super nice and very helpful. If there were any questions or things we needed, they would always help us instantly - with a smile on their faces. You have to meet the boss too, as she has the best tipps for the island and is always up for a nice conversation. When we left, we felt that we found some good friends in all of them.
The rooms were quite basic, but had everything you need. The bathroom was big and clean, but it was just a bit tricky to get the water in the shower to the right temperature. The bed was nice and comfortable. The rooms have a well-equipped Mini-Bar with fair prices, but you can also get shakes and everything you crave at the Hotel-Bar (even if it's not on the menu). Try a Mango Shake!!
Another plus is the service here: you will find Coffee waiting for you on your balcony in the morning - complementary! (Or an umbrella, if it does happen to rain.) You can also have your breakfast (or any meal) delivered to your room. The Clean-Up team also does a very nice job, every day.
The kitchen is also very good and has a variety of foods. One great thing they also offer is for you to get your own fish or whatever you crave and they will prepare it for you for just 150 peso.
The Resort is located around Station 3, the more quiet and family-oriented part of the beach. It's nice and quiet at nights and the walk to the beach is just a bit over two minutes away. The way there is not the prettiest sight, but once you hit the beach (or the Resort the other way around), you will quickly forget about that and find yourself in paradise.
We sure hope that we can get back to the island sometime soon and we will then definitely stay at the Turtle Inn again!

We stayed at the Turtle Inn for 6 nights (after extending our stay by 1 night we were so happy with it!!). We got a Southwest Tours airport transfer from Kalibo airport directly to the Turtle Inn, so we didn't have to worry about finding it ourselves, which was lucky because it's right at the end of a backstreet off a backstreet.
We were greeted by two gorgeous little live turtles before walking through to reception. The receptionists and restaurant staff were all so lovely and treated us like friends! We were briefed about all the amenities well and were even upgraded from a standard to a superior room, which we were very grateful for!
- The room came with a modest breakfast and we quickly found our favourite (Mango Pancake!!!).
- The minibar was well stocked and wasn't overly expensive.
- The room was large with a large balcony area
- The hotel was located a FANTASTIC distance from the beach!! We were tucked nicely away from the hustle and bustle (and at one point a 24-hour beach party celebrating the Boracay natives with drumming all night!!).
- The bed was so comfortable!! I could have slept in it all day!!
- Good recommendations for activities and we were well-looked after with regards to transport to and from the activities.
We did experience a few negatives, however, but it needs to be noted that these did not detract from our enjoyment:
- The air con decided to start turning itself off at timed intervals and we couldn't get it working normally again.
- The wifi was a bit spotty, but we expected this as Boracay is a small island.
- The island regularly experiences blackouts, which affected both the air con and our check-out. Other hotels in the area turn their backup generators on immediately (you can hear them all starting) but Turtle Inn tended to wait it out, causing the room to become quite hot. It was just unfortunate that we experienced a blackout on our (very) early morning check out, which was slightly inconveniencing and tedious, especially for us non-morning-people!
We would definitely stay here again though, given the opportunity, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

We had a wonderful time with this resort. A lovely place not far from the beach ( 5mins walk only). We stayed at their Superior room which is full of light and a beautiful view from balcony. It is very quiet at night also. The staff is friendly. The only thing is that it is a little bit tricky to find the hotel but I think they can not change it :). All in all, we are happy to come back next time.

Room was spacious and clean. Staffs were friendly. The beach is a minute distace from Inn.
The only thing not good was it was so hard to find. It is not on the map. The entrance is very hard to find. Never try to find it by walk. Ride the tricycle.

The Service of the staff is very good, attentive and kind, they have a good food and chef,... the deluxe room are clean and comfortable to rest except the stairs LOL... we enjoyed all activities except for the untowards events when my camera accidentally fell to the sea by Kuya Jessie (a staff on duty from turtle inn) during our parasailing... all our good memories from boracay, south Korea and EL nido are on the camera, The camera is 50ft waterproof, shockproof, crushproof. If any reader seen my camera please returned it to me. it means a lot to me... -Alex

+1
I stayed at the Turtle Inn Resort in March 2014 for 4 nights. I was very satisfied with the spacious and clean room, the outside sitting area was nice for your morning coffee. The staff and owners Ms Marilyn and Ms Jeny are always there to make sure your stay is of the highest quality. I especially enjoyed my daily conversation with Ms Marilyn, I learned a lot from her regarding life in the Philippines and will use her advice in the future. The Resort is just a few minutes walk to the beach in station 3. There you will find many places to eat and shop. almost every restaurant offers a crab or oyster buffet dinner for around 300-400php per person, the highest was 770php which included grilled steak.
I highly recommend this Resort to my fellow Hawaii travelers and to anyone else seeking a very affordable, clean and friendly place to stay in Boracay. This place will not disappoint you. I will be back to the Turtle Inn resort because they truly make you feel at home.

I've been stayed in Turtle Inn for 4 nights in early May. great & friendly staff, beautiful garden and good location. The room is very basic but clean. as we spent most time on sea sport activity or stay on the beach, we are very satisfied with the resort given its budget price. Some tips:
1. 5 mins walk to S3, very convenient for island hopping, parasailing, banana boat, etc., as they all set out there.
2. If you want to swim, just 5 more mins walk towards S2 along the white beach, it's still S3 but the water is good (no algae) and not so many people like S2.
3. Some tricycle drivers don't know this place, so just ask them to send you to S3 and drop you off until see the "Andok's" on the main road.

One of the few times where TripAdvisor has let me down. Found the Turtle Inn to be dingy, run down, and ragged. Checked out after one night. Terrible value for money and overall a very poor place. Looks like it hasn't been change or updated in about thirty years. Beach access is very far. If you spend your time and efforts travelling to Boracay, stay somewhere better.

My wife and I spent the week of the 2012 Chinese New Year at the Turtle Inn. First let's get the basic details out of the way. Excellent value, excellent staff and as far as we were concerned a great location. You are not right on the beach which was fine with us. It is about a two mnute walk away. The location is quiet and offers privacy. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent and the showers worked fine. The internet connection in the room met all of my needs. The complimentary breakfast was great. I can not say enough about the staff. They were helpful and attended to all of our needs.
If I were to return to Boracay I would stay at the Turtle Inn again. Because of the size of the Inn it has a very cozy atmosphere. We got to meet some great people there and we have continued to stay in contact.
This was a honeymoon for my wife and I and I don't think we could have picked a better place. This may rub some people the wrong way, but my wife and I are a same sex couple. Not once did we feel uncomfortable at the Inn. We were treated with respect and dignity.
Mhalen, Jenni and Justin thanks much for a great time. It was truly appreciated.

Just comeback from this "home" and not an hotel, I spend quite a lot of time in 4/5 star hotel in Europe and the thing that I always heated was the false relationship you get from the staff, but all that is not true at the turtle, here you ARE a family friend, someone that is so special, that actualy is almost unreal. Not only I enjoyed my stay, I actualy missed so much the chat with Jane, Mhalen, Justin, and all the staff there that I am already enquiring for this June and next January. Please don't change anything, you really are so special that even the smallest change could compromise your QUALITY. Love u guys
