A lovely friendly welcome which continued for our 5 days of stay. I cannot fault this this place tucked away. Yet so close to beach and restaurants. Our room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was good. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff.. It does not have a pool but when you have clear blue sea and soft sand who cares!!! They give you a straw mat and towel. We loved our stay.

Stayed in hotel end of December until 7 January. Had room on top floor with view around. Room vas very clean and spacious. Good decent breakfast. Staff very polite, friendly and always helpful. Every morning they provide us with fresh beach towels and mats. Location amazing!!! 2-3 min walk to Willy rock, white beach. Away from crowds and noise. Will be back !

We came in to Boracay from Palawan via My Boracay Guide. They picked us up from station and took us to the hotel. We were greeted with welcome juices. The staff was so polite, they carried our luggage to our room. The room was surprisingly clean. I like that they had the energy saver card in place. They provided beach towels and mat, just ask. The breakfast was great in terms of quality and quantity. The shower was great the pressure was great. They came in to clean every day. They made our stay SO PLEASANT! It is close to the white sands of station 1 which is tucked away so you don’t hear the noise. We loved our stay and for the money spent, we would probably stay there again!

One Crescent is well located at a short walk to the Willy’s Rock part of the White beach which also happened to be the best section of the beach in terms of eateries and quality of sand. The hotel stands out for its hospitable staff, especially Ruby who accommodated any request around arrangements at the hotel with a smile. It is also an exceptionally clean and well maintained hotel for its size and type. It has all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended if you are ok to not have a sea view and a pool.

I visited one crescent place at the end of November with my partner and we were definitely disappointed, the pictures on the site do a good job at fooling you. We booked the “deluxe suite” deluxe is a bit of an overstatement there was nothing deluxe about the room. The reception area was bigger than the room, the decoration could do with a bit of an upgrade and it wasn’t very clean. I tried to cancel the hotel on the first night as it wasn’t what I thought I booked and I wasn’t comfortable there and the receptionist called the manager who lives In Manila to which I basically was told it was tough I wasn’t getting a refund or room change and I’d have to get over it. Fair enough the room was just a base we were out most of the day, but we encountered various problems with the…

Response from armieocp, Owner at One Crescent Place Hotel
Responded 7 Dec 2018
Dear Lacey, We hope you are or will be happy, especially this coming holiday season. We are actually quite hurt by your accusations, quite extremely worded. We actually remember as we monitor and have reports of how our guests are doing on first contact with them. We have reports and we constantly attend to the things First, on the 19th, you actually visited the hotel at about 10:30 AM to see the room before you check-in later in the day. We showed you the room, the Deluxe room, which is with a standard double-sized bed. Everything seems fine with you when you saw the room. Later in the day when you checked in, you stated that you wanted to cancel your booking (as you have family staying in another hotel) and you want us to refund your money, we had to explain of the policy, as there is nothing wrong with the room itself. And if there is something wrong, we will fix or move you to another room. You then complained that the bed is too small, but that is exactly what you booked, and so we offered a room with a bigger bed in case you want to upgrade. Then, you refused any upgrade and went to the litany of quite incredulous statements that we read here in Trip Advisor. But nevertheless, we went through the staff of all the list of allegations you stated above. We checked each, and found them to be working or not working as designed. We had been operating the hotel and we focus on our guests and our facilities closely. For the water, power, and internet, we have had frequent power interruptions in Boracay, first caused by power station in the mainland, and then due to relocation of electrical posts. You would not have noticed, but there are sporadic days where there is actually no power in the island from early in the morning till about very late in the afternoon. We though have at One Crescent Place backup power, that powers the hotel during these times. Though there is a few minutes (less than 5 minutes) of no power as we transition to our own electric generation system. Just so that everyone know, our generator system is highly tuned and robust that it can power the hotel while on full occupancy on days and days. This has happened before during a major Typhoon, and we provided power for two weeks for our guests at any cost to us. This was during typhoon Yolanda, a few years ago. We even deployed a mobile internet provider just to have some basic access as the lines were down in the island. We have redundant power, water and internet and we are working hard in the background even those staff in Bonifacio Global City working with suppliers, and with business systems. These are the things that you don't see, but we work on these things behind the scenes. You even have not stayed in the hotel during some nights and you have not allowed us to clean the room. The mini-ref in your room is unplugged unless you want us to stock it with drinks. Its electrical outlet is independent of the cut-off switch that the key card energy saver. These energy saver switches are quite common in nice hotels in other countries even, and is designed to save on power when people are not actually using it. Our air conditioners are energy savers using the inverter technology (which varies the speed of the compressor to economically provide constant room temperature), but the remote control has a button to rapidly cool a room in a few minutes. Also, if you have expressed your concern that you want your room comfortable when you return, our staff can attend to it, by just letting us know about when you expect to return, so we can make the room comfortable when you return. We both value your comfort as well as the resources of our mother earth. We explain our policy and deliver based on what is stated in our website or our partner Online Travel Agencies. If it has been that bad as you describe here, why did your Online Travel Agency not contact us and cancel your booking? We have had only a few guests, only three in recent memory, who threw bad reviews because their wish for cancellation, not at the fault of the hotel, but just because their circumstances have changed. We have an obligation to report these to our partner Online Travel Agencies. We are all adults, human, and we want to be respectful to others during our short stay or contact with each other. May you find peace in your heart, especially this season of joy.

We enjoyed a lovely, two-night stay at One Crescent Place. We booked their junior suite and found it to be an updated, bright room with lots of windows and sliding doors. There were two balconies, with a drying rack for swimwear outdoors. The beds were VERY comfortable, and there was a TV with plenty of viewing options for every member of your family. The room also included a table with four chairs. The bathroom has a large countertop, and the shower has great water pressure with nice warm water. The complimentary breakfast is delightful with options to suit every palate. Fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea, and your choice of meat are included with the American breakfast option of eggs and toast, for example. It is a reasonable walk to the station 1 beach, through a…

Around 5 to 7 mins walk from white beach so you are away from the noise and crowded areas. Clean rooms, good amenities / facilities and wonderful staffs. I could not find fault in this property. Definitely worth your money!

We were first time in Boracay and this hotel was great choice. Staff was helpful with changing the room (the one in the basement was way smaller and darker than the pictures claimed), since the day we have nothing to complain :) It is in quiet area, 3 minutes walking from White beach, several choices of breakfast, daily room cleaning service.. We already recommended OCP to our friends :)

Loved my stay here! The staff were all so accommodating and warm! This is a quaint place in a quiet area in Station 1. Walking distance from Willy's Rock, where I hung out almost everyday. The only thing that they need fixing is their sewage, as the toilet in our room didn't flush that well. Aside from that, all is well and I will definitely book again here.<3

This was my 2nd trip to Boracay and this time I brought my two daughters (15 and 12). I made this reservation last minute and received a last minute deal of 50% off the regular rates - Jr Suite with two double beds. So, keep looking for deals. However, I was very pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. It is not right on the beach, but only a block behind the main road. The walk to the beach is literally a few minutes on a safe and well lit road with shops, restaurants, and a well lit local community basketball court with regular games and practices going on. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The free breakfast was so yummy and there are a few options - American and Filipino. One of the nights, the power went out and…
