It was gloomy and the place just doesn't look that nice. I mean, the beddings were unattractive - they were supposed to be white but they almost looked gray. The rooms did not look particularly clean either, in fact, there was a cockroach in our room one night. Service also left something to be desired. To be fair, the AC was cold and the complimentary breakfast selections were pretty good. The place really isn't that bad, but there are just too many other places to stay at in Boracay, and this place just does not match up to other resorts at the same price point. I am definitely not staying here again unless I absolutely cannot book a room anywhere else.

Had to book in advance from Australia which is something we usually try not to do, but being peak season we thought it would be the safest option as there aren't many online. I spent far too much of my time writing emails to the reception about which room we wanted, how much it was going to cost and the inclusions. I was also told I had to pay via paypal only to find out they most definitely have credit card facilities on site. Tsk tsk! I asked for a family room bungalow but ended up with a Family Room Sea View. In the 25 emails between myself and Bamboo Bungalows not ONCE did anyone care to mention that the Family Sea View room was directly above the bloody bar that is open til the early hours of the morning. Nowhere on the website, which is awful to view even on a desktop

The price is extremely reasonable, location is perfect, right on the beach. The room with the hammock and beach view was spacious and quite nice. There's a beach bar right inside of the place so on Friday and Saturday nights there were loud parties, well for us as a group of friends it was only a plus.

Well, if you don't like block of concrete, but nice small place with a local home feeling, you are in the good place. Very well situated right on the beach. Probably the only green hotel left in the center of the main beach life (huge garden all around the bungalows). The bungalow are simple and clean but with all comfort. The staff at all level are great. Only one negative point it's the noise at night from the bar. So if like me you are very sensitive to noise ask for a room as far as possible of the entry and you should be fine. Little supermarket next door and all the beach restaurants, bars around. Dive center on each side at around 50/100m,.. Perfect place to enjoy 24/24h boracay Island

Bamboo bungalow is in a great location right on the amazing Boracay beach in station 2. Nice big room (bungalow) which was clean but a little basic . Great balcony. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. There is a bar right in front so can be a bit noisy at night but that never bothered me. Overall I think it is great value when compared the other hotels in this location ........
