My friends stayed at the hotel and they like it. The room was good with good cleaning. The bathrom were nice and very clean. The hotel staff were nice and very helpful. There was only one thing they mention that they did not like is that there were some noise from the outside but it was ok with them cause it was not that much noise rather than that it was a very good stay at this hotel.

We arrived in Green Monkey on Friday at around two o’clock in the afternoon. We stayed there until Monday morning. We were greeted by the receptionist and were given two bottles of mineral water. After a few minutes, we were sent to our room (Blue Room), 2nd Floor. It’s a bit small as compared to other rooms since it’s also one of the lower rate- rooms there. The bed is good enough for two persons but the blanket is not that thick . After a while, my boyfriend checked the comfort room but was not pleased of the smell. So we reported it to the hotel’s housekeeper. When he went in the room, he said he can’t smell anything bad there. Instead, he just gave us a Glade –an air freshener. Our first night is okay, though the smell of the CR is not that good.

On the morning of the second day, I can’t really live with the smell so we reported it again to the housekeeper. He’s polite and kind but we don’t understand why he is somehow used with the smell already. He just cleaned the comfort room. We took our lunch and came back. Still the smell of the CR was not gone. But I told my boyfriend to just close the CR door to minimize the smell. We went out for tour. We came back in the hotel at night and still the same smell was there but we just tolerated it.

At 5:30 in the morning of the third day, my boyfriend woke up with a sound of water drops from the air conditioner which was directly poured down in the television. He woke me up to see what happened. Almost half of the floor is already flooding. But I’m more concerned with the aircon and TV. The TV was still plugged in and we are quite nervous as it has already been wet of water (maybe overnight). My boyfriend immediately went down to report it but only the security guard was there. The guard went up to our room and put a transparent cellophane on the TV to avoid further drops; but it didn’t help a lot. We waited until 8:30 in the morning for the housekeeper.

At that time, I really requested for room transfer. It’s quite stressful on our part. I mean, we know that price follows the quality of the rooms. I did not really expected a very beautiful room but at least the basic necessities are well-provided. Good to know, they agreed for a room transfer. At 10 AM, we were already in the Red Room (the price here is higher). Of course, the first move we did is check the CR. And luckily, there’s no smell. The room is bigger and quite spacious. I am a bit sick so we just stayed in the room the whole day.

We woke up at around 4am and took a bath. After I took a bath, I was dazed to see that the floor is again flooding. The water in the comfort room is not draining. Fortunately, we are about to check out on 5:30 AM.

The good side of this hotel, it’s just a few steps away from the beach. It’s also near the D’Talipapa where there are a lot of delicious seafood. The staffs also are nice and friendly.

The bedroom was nice. Big and comfort bed. The bathroom was clean and looked nice, but you couldn't shower for 2 minutes before you had water all over the room. We stayed in the King room situated next to the street. The street outside got muddy really fast. It was pretty close to the beach, but not on a big road so the tricicle didn't drive us the whole way and we had to walk in the mud. Lucky us we only had backpacks.

The service was not bad but not good either. We didn't feel we could really trust to leave valuable things in the room. Not even in the safebox, because they wanted us to put the passport number as the code so they will have it, in case we forgot. Of course we typed in another number.

The wifi was no good either, very slow!

My mother and I had an amazing week at this place. The staff treated us exceptionally well, showing genuine care and friendliness throughout our stay. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Plus, the location couldn't be better right in the heart of Boracay. We highly recommend this place to fellow travelers seeking an unforgettable experience. Can't wait to return!

We spent 4 nights in the Green Monkey Resort Boracay and we didn´t enjoy our stay at all. The weather was very bad (because of the typhoons). The worst thing was that the street of Green Monkey Resort was flooded until the knee level (it seems that this happens every time it rains quite heavily) and that each time we wanted to leave or come back to the hotel we had to pay a driver. Of course, we didn´t want to get wet until the knees with dirty and smelly water every time we wanted to move. After the first night, we asked the Hotel to give us our money back so that we could move into another hotel, because the rest of the island was in good condition but they didn´t accept our request. We wanted to talk to the boss, who lives in Germany but he refused calling us, so, we had no choice and we had to spend our 4 nights in the Green Monkey Hotel. Apart from the floods, there were ants in our bed, which wasn’t nice for us. Seeing that we could not talk to the boss, we ask the two nice and professional receptionists, to gave us back the money we spent in transport, and they did it. Furthermore, they were the ones in charge of pushing us in and out the hotel (50m) in a push car for free.
After trying to talk to the boss each day during our stay and seeing that it wasn’t possible, we decided to contact via email with one of the managers. He replied to our message not in a very polite way and he didn’t give us any solution.
We were happy with the staff (Joshue and Joreleen) because they are very nice and honest people but we wouldn’t recommend this Hotel during the wet season.

Last May 19-21, me and my boyfriend together with my sister and her friend had stayed in this hotel. The hotel has big and clean room, but think twice if you will stay here. On the last day of our stay here, we requested for housekeeping in the afternoon while we are away swimming in station 1. When we get back at 9pm, I was packing my things ready to leave the same night but when I check my wallet in my bag (I left 4k for emergency purposes) and saw that only 2k left on my wallet! I really suspect the one who has cleaned the room because they are the only ones who have access to the room. The management did not help me at all and told me they don't have the address or contact # of JANE (the one who cleaned our room). So nothing happened that night as we were not able to report them to police station because we need to catch the flight :( Please dont stay in this hotel if you dont want to experience mine :(

Lasted barely one night out of the three I paid for here and then moved to a cheaper quieter place. Room was right on a very busy street. Lots of noise all night long from tricycles, foot traffic, drunks, dogs, etc. Plumbing issues in the shower. No windows except one right at street level. It cost almost 100 dollars a night and no breakfast or internet. Neither of us could sleep at all the night we were there. When I tried to talk to the staff in the morning they didn't seem to care. They seemed more concerned about watching YouTube videos. So I booked another place and went back to get my bags. At which point then they offered another room. sigh. Ranks among the most unpleasant hotel experiences in my 20 years of travel. But the floors are pretty. :)

I had originally booked for 5 nights but stayed an extra 5 . The location was perfect just 200 metres from the beach . Staff were more than helpful the manager invited my partner and I to the roof for a tasty breakfast . Also helped us with organising activities such as scuba diving etc . We stayed in the Redwood room very comfortable and clean with fresh towels and bed clothes every day . I am hoping next year there will be rooms available .

The service was fine. I didn’t really have any issues with this resort. Sleeping on the pillows did made my neck sniff. Wouldn’t be opposed to staying again. I’ll just be sure to bring my own pillows.

It's almost like false advertising. First of all, it's not a resort. More like a pension house and a cheap one. It's not easy to locate this place because it's not popular. Something bad happened to us and we asked them, the staff wouldn't answer and they don't want to show us CCTV footage. The receptionists are friendly. The rooms were disappointing. The massage was terrible.
