I love their complimentary massage - that's the most unique part of my experience here at Palassa. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts with them are a real treat because I love to chat with everyone, and so did they! It's quite a walk to get to the other side, and I'm not much of a walker... But tricycles are easily accessible here, so that was fine. I'm sure others don't mind the walking and may find it enjoyable as well. I recommend this place for families or travelers who want to get away from the main side of the beach, and would simply like to relax on their vacation. It's very peaceful here and I hope I can visit again with my kids next time.

My family and I spent 3 days 2 nights in Boracay. It was actually a surprise birthday staycation for my hubby. Having been familiar with the place ( the nightly partying noise) we were surprised to find out that we would be staying on the other side of it all..My son did not reveal our actual hotel name and location until D-day..and lo and behold...Palassa was wonderful. Since day 1 of our stay the staff treated us like VIPs. Considering that we arrived earlier than check in time they we really warm and friendly and were totally accomodating in every way. Breakfast was great! The servings was like taking brunch. The room we got was very homey allowing us to even prepare our own meals in a kitchen. Our stay in Palassa was really memorable ( not minding the weather this past few

I've been to boracay a lot of times and during my last visits, i keep staying here at Bulabog area. This part of the island is quiet and away from all the tourists and pedlars. It's just 7-10minutes walk going to D'mall and white beach. We always try our luck with Palassa but its always fully booked, we were happy that we manage to get a room last week. Palassa is not accessible by tricycle but its just 2 minutes walk from the end of the tricycle drop point. Also once you notify the staff of your arrival, they will happily wait for you to welcome and carry your luggages from the drop point. Check-in is a breeze with welcome drinks. Our room is a one-bedroom ocean view and the interior is above average. living room has its own tv, kitchen has a microwave and ref, bedroom is huge

In general, This side of boracay is much better in my opinion. The hotel is nice with nice staff. We were there during the low season, which means that right next to the hotel there are a number of sewage pipes pumping crap into the water. The water pressure in the room was low and wasn't hot enough but the staff compensated us with 2 breakfast meals because of it. In general, our stay was good but for the money I would probably stay at a different place next time we go.

Dear Hagiga A, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay here at Palassa Private Residences. It is only through feedback such as yours that we are able to maintain and, when necessary, improve upon the service that we provide to our valued guests. We are also very happy to hear that you enjoyed this side of Boracay. Indeed, during our low season, there are several pipes across the shores. However, just to clarify, according to Boracay Island Water Company, Inc., the water pumping into the sea is just treated water. It does damper the beautiful view we have of the ocean though, so we are doing our best to improve this. In addition, we are also working on the water pressure in all our rooms. Please accept our apologies in regards to this matter, and we hope we can convince you to change your mind about another visit to our property. It would be such a pleasure to personally welcome you back to our new and improved hotel. Kind Regards, Gia | Palassa Private Residences

This is the first time that I have ever written a negative review on a place. I'm not going to rewrite the whole story, I'll copy an email, which pretty much describes the whole situation with this hotel. Staff and the owners are absolutely mean, laughed in our face! PS! Please find the photos attached. Here is the email, sent in January 2016: ''Dear Sir/Madam, PLEASE FIND BELOW OUR LETTER OF COMPLAINT AGAINST PALASSA PRIVATE RESIDENCES. We are really unfortunate to even have to write this letter, but sadly your hotel was not anything close to what you had promised over the internet. We booked your hotel through your website at a cost of 27 440 PHP. For this value it was advertised that we would have the following: - Luxurious hotel - Exceptional restaurant - Highly

Dear Allar K, Thank you for your visit and bringing your unsatisfactory experience to our attention. Palassa Private Residences is a small boutique private luxury apartments offering front beach view advertise clearly in our website. We all have our own preferences and choices, if it does not meet your standards we couldn't control your opinion however we are taking notes on your comments. Luxury is also defined in the services which we believe that our team is passionate about. As a private residences, we offer intimate dining experience for our guests, and we take pride in providing homey meals in this type of setting. The force of nature limits us from answering your questions about the algae in the sea. Palassa in our own efforts of maintaining the beauty of the beach front is doing our own regular cleaning. We apologize for the air conditioning and housekeeping problems. This is inexcusable. Your comments about humidity of Boracay, The Philippines is a tropical country and we are sincerely concern about your traveling partner who is expecting. The change of climate and weather conditions can be a pain. There are weather forecasts easily available online and information before traveling to their destination holidays enabling travelers to prepare for the unexpected. This could be of assistance in your future travel. Palassa is a brand name in Boracay which started from Spa. We have spa branches around Boracay island with well-trained and professional massuese. We apologize if it created a confusion that we have a spa within the property. Our website and other marketing collaterals does not feature this information. We are not deceiving information. However, we are offering in-room massage services and assistance to provide transportation to one of our spa outlets as seen in our in-room collaterals. We regret to advise that your request to refund your full payment would not be possible after mentioning all the above complaints. Once again, please accept our apology for the inconveniences during your stay. We will further improve and we hope that you would stay again with us and experience the improvements we have made. Also, thank you for taking the time to write to us. It is indeed unfortunate that you experienced what you did with our hotel. We at Palassa Private Residences welcome all sorts of feedback to further improve the service we provide for our guests, so thank you for showing us love in a different kind of way. We hope you will stay with us again in the future. Kind Regards, Gia | Palassa Private Residences
