Pallassa is indeed one of the best place to stay in Boracay. I have too many to mention reasons why: 1. Only few steps in the beach. It is located in Balabag beach, and sand my not be fine as station 1-3, but if you are after to swim and sun bathing, this will perfectly do. 2. Quiet place to stay. It is out from noise of crowd in station 1-3 which is perfect for people who want to relax and unwind. 3. With Pantry and Kitchen. I really appreciated the free use of Electronics such as Microwave and kitchen.

One of the best boutique hotels I ever stayed at. Room is right on the beach so you cannot beat this view. It is close to all kitesurfing centers and 5 min walk to D Mall and White Beach so superb location.
Manager and Staff are just lovely people so I highly recommend this hotel. I am coming back next year 100%.

Thanks you to all the staff.

Seven day stay. Quiet location but only 10 minute walk to center. Not the best beach but good for various activities. No food available at residence. There are a few cafe/restaurant close by. The bedroom is large size and shower room high quality. Would stay again

The place is clean, the rooms are well maintained and posh. The staff are very accomodating and friendly . It is situated in a quite beach area but not far from the station 2. From start to end, my experience at Palassa was superb. Staff was always helpful in my needs and always demonstrated a kind service.
The hotel faces Bugalog beach, which is nice for sunrise (recommended.) It is also quite centrally located. It is 10 mins away from D'Mall and 12 mins away to White Beach.

Breakfast menu and quality was very good. Room is very comfortable and clean. AC works, wifi works fine.

Cons: Price is a bit steep, but you are paying for the quality. For what you are getting, it is reasonable. Also, there is no pavement road that connects directly to the hotel. So from the nearest paved road, you have to walk on sand about 3 mins.

--

Other info:

- From the port to D'Mart, it will cost you about 100 pesos travelling with a tricycle.
- The sun rises at about 5:15 am around this time of the year (end of July.) I would get a room that faces the beach. It might be a it more expensive, but the view is breathtaking.

We had a horrible stay at this hotel. The following are the issues:
 Shower - The shower has no water pressure. We were put in room 9 and the shower did not work at all. We kept asking for another room but they would not listen. 3 times they had a look and finally one night the shower pipes burst and the bathroom flooded. They moved us to room 12 but did not allow us to stay there. They moved us to room 8 and the shower was working – still bad water pressure
 Toilet overflowed. In the 3rd room we had – room 8, the toilet overflowed one night and they had to come and fix it. Both the shower and this toilet issue meant it spoilt 2 of our nights while we stayed up waiting for them to fix it
 Noisy - Bullabag beach is very windy and there was construction happening next door. The tarpaulin in the wind made so much noise that we could hardly sleep.
 Room amenities. There was no iron and the plug the only plug points were next to the bed. The hairdryer was like a lego one and I had to sit on the bed and lean forward to use it since the cable was too short. There were no tissue boxes in the room and we had to use toilet paper
 Dangerous – in room 9 the balcony glass pieces were held together with wires. It was dangerous and we ensured we did not lean on the railing
 Food – the breakfast was not nice at all. There was no taste and in fact we had to ask for toast. I fell sick as a result. They did not inform us that sausages were not included and then charged us at check out. They only serve mango juice and one has to pay for orange or any other kind of juice one gets. Too pedestrian and basic
 1 key – we were a couple staying in one room but we could not get a duplicate key. This caused issues for us and hampered our movements
 Curtains – dirty with marks
 Housekeeping – they were not disciplined in cleaning our room. They did not even change sheets once and there was sand everywhere under the blanket when we came home. They would not replace bathrobes
 Shampoo – the shampoo they provided was terrible. Since I normally use hotel shampoos, I did the same here and my hair was severely damaged. I had to buy one after that.
 No proper entrance – since the hotel opens up on Bullabag beach there is no way to get a tuk tuk or a car to the entrance. So we had to carry our luggage through the beach.
 High tide – when the tide comes up in the evening the water comes up right to the hotel and we had to climb over fences to get in.
 Sewerage pipe – there is a sewerage pipe right outside the hotel running into the water – yucks! Need I say more.
Overall we felt dirty in the room. We wanted to leave the room as early in the morning as possible and return as late as possible. I have always picked my hotels well and this time I must say I failed. Spoilt our holiday. I booked through Agoda. Will never trust their ratings again.

The hotel is located on Bulabog beachfront. If you enjoy some privacy and less noise, this is the hotel to be at. We enjoyed the beachview during sunrise and sunset.

It is just about 7mins walk to the White beach / D'Mall and about 20mins walk to D'talipapa.

I would like to thank the service staff for being very accommodating during my stay there with my wife.

Check-in was very fast and smooth. We were greeted nicely with complimentary drinks. Their security staff helped us with heavy luggage.
Their counter staff was very patient and helpful in assisting us to book our itinerary and activities. On one of the days, I fell sick. Their service staff bought me medications and also a jug of water. I would like to express my thanks to the staff for being very caring to myself and my wife. Security was always present and very courteous. Their breakfast is special as it is cooked upon your request / order. Not those typical buffet breakfast. Everything else in the hotel was fine. Checkout was a breeze too.

Generally all staff appeared to be very happy to serve us.

Just a suggestion: Perhaps the management would want to consider to install telephone lines in order for your staff to serve guests more efficiently. Otherwise it would trouble them to go up and down the rooms just to convey messages to the guests. Your staff have provided excellent customer service and I believe that by installing telephone lines from the reception to all the rooms would be conveniently beneficial to your staff and guests. Nonetheless, Keep up the good work.

We stayed here during the Low Season. It is better to stay on this side of the island (Bulabog Beach) during the Low Season as along White Beach all the resorts have wind-screens up. It is a ten minute walk through back streets to get to White Beach, the area is very safe.

Bulabog beach is very relaxed and quiet. Although the water out the front of the hotel looks relatively clean it should be noted that a report as recent as March 2015 suggests that the water is contaminated. Although it is still very pretty to look at.
The hotel itself is very well presented and modern. We stayed in the one bedroom ocean view room on the second floor and the view was spectacular. The free breakfast daily was really great and varied, their French Toast is delicious. The free massage in-room massage was also great.

During low season all the water sport activities go from this side so it is a great location for parasailing, banana boat, helmet diving and jet skiing.
The front of the hotel also had luxurious couches along the beach which are great to sit on and watch the boats and parasails. There is no direct road leading to the hotel so you will have to carry your bags over the beach to reach the entrance. We booked our airport transfer through the hotel and it was fine.

Dear Nucella171, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay here at Palassa Private Residences. It is only through feedback such as yours that we are able to maintain and, when necessary, improve upon the service that we provide to our valued guests. We are happy to know that you enjoyed your vacation with us. We are glad to know that you also enjoyed our french toast! It's one of the owner's personal recipes, and a favorite at the hotel. Indeed, Bulabog Beach is very relaxing and peaceful, especially during Low Season. I hope you were able to try some of the water sports available here at the time, but if not, then we'd love to have you back again for more sun and adventures! Also, there is a recent update regarding the water on this side of the island, and it is no longer contaminated. In fact, we've set up dividers and buoys for guests who wish to swim (because although the water has now been treated, there is still plenty of wildlife such as starfishes and sea urchins). Hopefully, you'll make the time to visit Boracay again soon. We'd love to have you stay with us again. Regards, Gia | Palassa Private Residences

On my 4th trip to the island, I decided to stay on bulabog beach - the kite surfing side and opted for Palassa on short notice. On first impressions, the place was amazing, short walk to the main strip and D Mall area, not overly isolated, right next to 7 Stones, beach front, amazing facade and overall a breeze to check in with the friendly staff.

This is a brand new building, the rooms have a modern minimalistic decor that I've become accustomed to while traveling around in Asia through some of the newer hotels and had all your basic needs. Everything was clean and spotless upon arrival and they even offer 2 hr complementary massage service in your room which I thought was a nice touch. The food at the resto was nice - good portion chicken club sandwich at a reasonable price - but I never bothered with breakfast. Lemon, a french themed spot in D Mall is where I always eat :)

The morning sunrise is amazing from the chairs and beach side beds, nice spot to have lunch/dinner and overall enjoy the peace and quiet away from the crowds. You can even swim at night and even though the beach is not as well maintained as the white beaches, other than natural debris from palm trees and leaves, i didn't see any trash floating around. For what its worth, they have improved on beach maintenance so that a plus!

Now I had no complaints, but to say this is a luxury hotel is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. The bathroom is tiny and not very practical, the faucet was loose and the bathroom products they offer is basic. There is no phone to call reception, no iron, you have to ask or leave a sign up to have your room cleaned and overall, I just didn't get the pure luxury vibe people were raving about. Again, I didn't need ANY of that stuff and feel that for the price, given that it was peak season and made seriously last minute booking, got exactly what I wanted and would probably return again.

PS. When I was there in early May, there was construction next door and while it didn't bother me, it could be annoying for light and sober sleepers.

Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have rooms with 2 twin beds. What we have is a room with a queen bed and a single bed, and that's our Premier Gallery, which is good for 3 pax! Let me know if you have further questions. I'd be happy to help.
