Hey Jude South Beach is located in a quiet part of Station 3. Hotel facilities are basic and what you’re really paying for is the beachfront location - place is literally steps away from the beach. Room rates are quite cheap compared to other beachfront hotels. The room and beds are surprisingly big compared. Only soap and towels are provided (beach towels can be requested from the front desk) so it’s better to bring personal toiletries and slippers. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Overall, Hey Jude South Beach offers more than sufficient accommodations particularly if you’re planning to stay out during most your stay in Boracay.

We arrived on the island the day after it suffered a direct hit by Typhoon Ursula. Unfortunately consequences being no power, no internet and only had use of borrowed generator. Day 2 a borrowed generator supplied power for light and fans (no aircon) from 6:00pm to midnight, Day 3 generator from 6:00pm to midnight then 1:00 to 5:00am, Day 4 generator from 9:00pm to midnight. We were told no generator would be available for NYE. Once internet was back online, we arranged for first available flight out and abandoned the rest of our stay.

I'm sure they guys did the best they could however would expect they would have their own generator. The second bedroom appears to have a double bed but is in fact only a king-single (when there's no aircon, not ideal to be that close to another hot body!). Water marks on ceiling through bedroom (2), open plan living / kitchen area; water not draining from shower in bedroom (1). The light fitting in bed (2) had dropped down and water dripping through the ceiling into a pan strategically placed on the floor - while the owner wasn't aware of this, it says something that the people looking after the building are not communicating problems, thereby putting owner in a bad situation.

In light of the effects of typhoon damage and diminished facility, I would suggest owner closes up shop and does a major clean / repair throughout before disappointing future tenants.

If you want a peaceful beachfront room in a less crowded area in Boracay, I highly recommend Hey Jude South Beach! The staff are friendly and hospitable. Breakfast is served in the restaurant located on the ground level of the building. I'd love to stay here again in the future. Value for money! 🌴☀️🌊

Room at the 4th floor, 406

Where to start ...
1. Super uncomfy bed
2. I booked a standard room, which allowes me to stay with my wife and 6y old kid, but bed is way too small. Even 2 people don't have enough space.
3. You can hear every noise from the hallway, bcs the door are so thin, like a sheet of paper. Also you see lights from the hallway whole night ( bcs of the cracks in the doors)
4. Fridge is making noise like a trak
5. You have to please someone to clean the room
6. Bathroom:
A. Old equipment, very damaged and dirty
B. At the second day of stay there was ants appeared, bcs no one came to clean
C. Water preasure is very poor
D. No good vent system
7. A shared terrace should be an asset and threatens with its equipment and garbage
8. Understatements:
A. I made reservation for 3 ppl but i have breakfast only for 2, I have to pay for my kid ( very overpriced )
B. You have to pay for exchange the beach towels if you want to do this more often then every 3 days. After one day of use they were moist but there is no place to dry them. According to hotel policy you can't dry anything outside your room. You have a piece of string under the shower but it is worth nothing bcs in the bathroom there is no good vent system.

The assets?
Beachfront
Some stuff are very helpful, nice and empathy ( but only some of them)

We made a reservation for 6 nights, after the second night we changed the hotel for a different one. Lady from the reception promised a help with a refund but nothing like that happened ( unfortunately there was no manager at this time).

I arrived a day late for my prepaid five nights due to a transport disaster on Tablas Island. I explained to reception what happened to me on Tablas Island causing my arrival a day late. I understand the no refund policy but as the resort on Tablas Island explained to me that if they have a guest who arrives a day or more late due to circumstances out of their control then the resort will give them a refund. No such offer was forthcoming from the Signature company. It highlights the difference between a resort operator who sympathises with their guest and a resort operator whose approach is we have your money and your not getting anything back no matter what you had to deal with to get here.
One issue that certainly irritated me was the absence of the new owner (Signature) from advising that Hey Jude South Beach Resort was now called Signature South Beach Resort. I had processed my prepaid booking over three months in advance and the new owner had every opportunity to advise me via Agoda but failed to do so. It was only by chance that I was advised by a resort owner on Tablas Island where I had to stay overnight prior to travelling to Caticlan that there was a name change. I had already sent a communication via the Hey Jude website only to be advised on arrival by reception staff that this website was redundant.
The staff are friendly and helpful with taking care of my laundry and booking my transport to the port.
My Superior room on the 4th floor was one room back from the shared balcony. My last visit in 2018 I was allocated one of the two rooms with their own access to the balcony. I can only assume the guests staying in these rooms had booked more than three months in advance than what I did.
The building is starting to show its age. My room was okay though the bathroom could receive some attention eg regrouting and mirror replacement. Everything worked okay except for the segregated shower ie hot water for a few minutes and then it went cold. The following three days I only had cold water. This is a deal breaker for me.
The bed was comfortable enough with clean linens. Plenty of shelf and hanging space. Lighting is very good.
Breakfast was more than adequate having had American breakfasts and omelettes.
The wifi was inconsistent but to be fair so was my Smart internet. Being a major tourist destination I would have expected a more reliable internet connection.

Formerly Hey! Jude South Beach but now under a new management. We had an awesome experience during our stay . Staff are very helpful and attentive to our needs. The hotel somehow needs some upgrade but it is very clean, smells nice, with very good air-conditioning, fresh linen, and decent wifi speed. The view and the ambiance is so perfect for our liking. Breakfast is also good with big serving (loved their Brewed Iced Coffee!). Located in station 3 which is a quiet area far from party noises, but also a bit far from D'Mall, Starbucks (1km away), and Willy's Rock (in Station 1 approx 2+kms from the property). For those who don't like walking, they offer a free shuttle service that can take you to any station, just check the schedule and book at the reception. Take note that the property is at beach front so you'll hear the waves that makes the experience extra special.

Terrible receptionist staff.

We booked 3 nights in 2 Oceanview Twin through booking.com each rooms can stay for 4 people.
However we mentioned in the reservation that we might come only 7 people, 5 adults and 2 children. The last minute my aunt decided to come along therefore we are 8 people when we arrive.
When we arrived at the reception they charge us for extra person.
We ask why that our booking is for 8 people. The men and lady receptionist just told us because we informed in our reservation that we are only 7 people and it is already put in the system also we booked through booking.com.
I work in a marketing dept. in a 4 and 5 star hotel chain in Thailand i knew how booking.com system works. Also it is clearly stating in the reservation that our booking is for 8 people.
I ask the lady receptionist to double check and ask her manager about it and decided to comeback the next morning.
The next day another person lady in the reception and have no clue about the problem.
Our flight was very early and don't want to ruin our nice vacation because of unexperience staff.
Therefore we have no choice but pay.

Overall the experience at the hey Jude was fine, but it could be improved. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and welcoming and greet you with a smile unlike next door at the Cocoloco who greet you with a frown. Breakfast was also good and there were enough options to choose from with the portion size being ample. The main issues were with the room, first they were very small and the shower was terrible, you had to literally stand directly underneath to get wet and it was like a slow trickle. Another thing to mention was the room cleaning, they came every two to three days and that meant you ran out of toilet paper and the bins became full. Internet was also non existent which in this day and age is a basic and you have to buy a sim to really enjoy anything online

If it was half the price it would be just ok. At 2700 peso room 404 is extremely over priced. It is a very basic room with no perks. There is no included breakfast, no elevator and you have to ask the. To clean you room. I would look elsewhere as this place is just looking for money and not providing service

Great location, tranquil... far from the advanced, crowded and chaotic Station 2. Nice rooms, they also have restaurant downstairs. Affordable! Great view especially in the late afternoon where you can see the sun shining and hiding into the horizon. Lovely staffs. Well recommended!🌞

If you're coming from Caticlan, they have pick up there as well. The best way is if you're flying with Cebu Pacific, they will provide you information and make reservation while you're still up in the air before landing. Then when you arrived, you just need to look for the booth of the name of the company written on the receipt. Then they will get your information, your Hotel and when you will flying back and all. Hope this will help.
