Read all the reviews before booking, taking many negatives into consideration. We, a retired couple are staying one month. We find location perfect, the settings are great, nice garden, when tide is up you can step into the ocean from hotel steps. Not the best beach, but the gardens and pool make up for it.
15 minutes walk to Station 3, no problem, trike to D'Mall easy to take. Away from the 4 a.m. Thumping music at Stations1, 2, 3 which is great to be away from. This time of year very windy on White a Beach side, this side perfect ... and if you arrange island hopping boat trip from hotel, the boat comes to the steps!!
Now, the best kept secret ... Chef is very good, food cooked fresh every day, and the staff are so attentative they equal any 5 star hotel in the world. We highly recommend (two more weeks and enjoying every day) ....

Stayed here in May and for the price, I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was a bit deserted at the time, I think we may have been one of only two groups there, but it was really a paradise. The AC worked great, the room was spacious and had a really nice sitting/dining area with a good TV plus a balcony with additional seating on it. The bathroom was small but good enough, though the windows there did not close so you had to keep the door shut always if you had the AC running. Good bed, plus a safe and a refrigerator. Plenty of space to keep your belongings. The wifi is free and works, but you can only use one device on it at a time and it is a bit intermittent (they won't tell you that bit - you'll need to figure out why your laptop connection stops working after your loved one has connected on their tablet/phone).

There was a very nice pool, a lovely garden complete with a pet bird that could say hello and was very friendly. The waitstaff even gave us some bread to feed the bird, who happily climbed down his tree to take it from our hands! Loved the garden area with the outdoor seating overlooking the water. The perfect place to enjoy breakfast. I can't say enough about the waitstaff, particularly the young man working there. He is really outstanding at his job, very friendly and considerate, and really made us feel welcome. He overheard us talking about the bird and offered to bring us a piece of bread to feed it. He even showed us how the bird will come down and onto our arm.

They have beach towels and water goggles available to use free of charge, and they will make arrangements for various activities at your request. They also have various pets roaming the property (ie dogs, cats, a bird, etc) so if you have kids, that may keep them occupied while you play some free billiards.

Really a great value if you go at the end of the peak season before the rainy season. You will have to travel for some time to get to White Beach and the Stations, so either plan to walk for a while or arrange for a motorbike/tricycle to take you there and back.

I understand that there weren't many guests so it was probably wise to conserve where able for expenses, but the place felt like it was shut down while we were there. When we wanted to swim in the evening, we felt like we were inconveniencing them since they waited until we were in the water to turn on the waterfall and turned it off right when we were finished. The swim-up bar was never staffed, that we saw. In fact, the restaurant and bar were not open in the evening unless you informed them no later than early afternoon that you were planning to eat/drink there later. Since breakfast was not free, I planned to pay the entire bill upon check out, which the staff said was no problem at all. Our last day there, I asked for the total and let them know I'd bring the cash to pay that night since we'd leave early the next morning, since they told me I couldn't pay with credit as stated on the reservation website (although I didn't want to anyway due to the foreign currency fee). When I came back with the cash, the manager had already charged my credit card for the amount but still made me pay for the extra fees in cash. I argued a bit that I hadn't agreed to use credit and had in fact told them less than 12 hours before that I'd be bringing cash, but she wouldn't budge and refused to refund the credit card so I could pay for everything with the cash I had taken out, which was far more than I'd be spending before leaving the country the next day. That left me with so much extra cash that I'd have to re-exchange it for my own currency, putting me at double the currency exchange loss. If not for these few things, I would have given this place 5/5 hands down. I'm sure going at a different time of year and dealing with a different staff member when making payment would resolve both of these small downfalls and make the experience here one to remember forever.

My wife and I stayed at Paradise Bay Resort for 4 nights and it was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They brought our breakfast and dinners to our balcony each day or set up our meal for us to eat by the water in a garden hut. I've stayed at countless hotels/resorts around the world but the service at this resort is bar none the best I've ever experienced to date. Another great incentive is the balcony views over looking the beautiful bay and garden. These two things alone are worth double the price I paid to stay here.

The only negative is that this resort is not on white beach, you'll have to take a trike ride there or a 10 min walk to the beach at Station 3. For us this was not a big deal because we don't like crowds and our resort was very peaceful away from all the action at white beach. We didn't mind taking a trike ride to Station 1 each morning to enjoy the world class Boracay white beach.

Final notes on this resort: the rooms are actually very spacious, cable tv, 1 wifi code per room, beds are pretty good, shower is great, the garden area is awesome and peaceful. I'm giving this resort a 5star rating because of its charm, great service and views.... Oh did I mention the balcony!? Haha just check out my picture I took before during our breakfast!

I had booked 2 rooms at this hotel several years ago. Upon arrival, I was so shocked that I refused to stay there. I asked for a complete refund of $ 1600.- and it was refused by the Hotel and by the travel agency.
This hotel and location discription, based on the pictures provided on the internet, are completely
fraudulent.
Reading the latest reviews , I wonder if the Hotel writes its own favorable rewiews to stay
in business.
I would suggest, that those travel agencies advertising this property, perform some kind
of check up, or verification, concerning this hotels website advertising.

I will never forget !!!!!

The management are overbearing and are lying all the time. We left early and lost a lot of money. Another young lady lost $500 dollars US because she couldn't stand it there. She had the hotel booked and paid for 4 weeks but stayed less than 2. There is a no money back policy. A third man from Australia hated it so much he could only stay for one day. I met him later at another hotel and he told me about his experience. He said the place was totally unprofessional.
The management are always right. They act like the place is their home and that makes the guests feel like they are intruding on the management’s privacy.
The rooms smell with sewage seeping up through the plumbing. When complaints are made, no apologies are made, and the work rarely gets done. It took a week for them to get rid of the smell in our room.
The pool is often used by a scuba-diving school, so you can't even enjoy that.
The hotel is surrounded by slums and filth.
8 minutes from white beach! Yes, if you are jogging. Regardless you have to walk through dirty smelly slums to get to the beach on foot. Taking a tricycle is not recommended as the road is full of pot holes, while the tricycles are simply not built for it. They are extremely smelly and uncomfortable anyway.
Terrible! Don't believe the photos.
The worst hotel I ever stayed at.
Get a hotel on white beach instead.

I almost cried when I was shown the room! It was so old and depressing looking. My heart sank as we had booked and prepaid the room in full for 6 nights so we were stuck here. I seriously considered cutting my losses and moving to another hotel. We paid over €100 per night, what a rip off, all because we stayed over the new year!!! The hotel room is seriously grim and the bed felt damp so we had to sleep on top of the duvet for the week we were here. All our clothes felt damp during our stay. The air con is so old and noisy as was the ceiling fan. We came in to cockroaches running across the room on some occasions. The photos make this hotel look a lot better than it is in reality and I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone!
Luckily we spent all our day doing water sports and relaxing on the beach so we spent as little time as possible in the room. Horrible depressing rooms overall!

Had a beautiful wedding down in Iloilo and then a good bus ride up....when we got to the hotel, it started off bad. first it was raining, second they could not find out reservation. Got to the room, looked ok, for the 30 second glance we gave it....were meeting friends for dinner. Came back a few hours later and about fell on our butts due to water coming in the back door because of rain(door was closed). we asked them to check it out. They never did. Next morning we left, noticed toilet backed up. Asked them to check. They said they did, but we came back, flushed and it overflowed everywhere. Also the tub didnt work. They said we didnt PAY for that amenity....Excuse me? really? its in the room, we paid for it. Staff tried to play nicey nice and laugh it all off. They cleaned up the toilet overflow, and once again i hit the damn tile and about broke my right forearm on the tile. They said they would fix it the next the next day and to be patient. Nope...sorry, I am paying you 5500 a night, I am not staying in a stinky room. Then we asked to move, they said they wouldnt have any rooms till MAYBE tthe next day. We called the place we stayed at last time in Boracay the Isla Del Mar and they were very accomodating and gave us a honeymoon discount. The girl at the Paradise bay said she couldnt give us a discount, but after we both got upset, she decied to give us at least 50% back. What a joke. I have been to many places, written many reviews, this place had dogs running everywhere in the compound and a staff that the only ones who were nice were the bell hops. They also have no wifi in the rooms ONLY in the lobby, and its weak at best. Stay away. Got somewhere else. Trust me on this one.

Nice hotel with clean spacious room in front of pool. The wifi signal is strong. Received a welcome drink when checking in. Nice parrot that only knows how to say "hi". The beach behind the hotel isn't so great. There is no complimentary breakfast provided or free mineral water.

The Paradise Bay Hotel is a great place to stay but very far from station 3 which is a good 20 min walk. Paid P2700/night @ this hotel. For the same price there are better options along the beach between station 2 and station 3 that provide free complimentary breakfast and unlimited mineral water. This hotel is to far out of the way with no free shuttle service to station 3 so I won't recommend this hotel.

Hi Prince, I apologize for not reading your query ASAP. We booked our hotel online, through Agoda. It pays to be a member of that website as it gives you discount when booking hotels through them.

"Location is okay if you want quiet times away from white beach. It would have been better if their beach area will be cleaned. There are enough #of staff, they are friendly but they do not turn the rooms down daily, don't even at least get the trash. We sit our daily trash outside of unit, they have dogs that messed up the trash, they still did not clean! Food is also unreasonably expensive. Room rate is also high. The facility can be so much better if well maintained ."
