I booked ESTACIO UNO in Agoda.com. An Executive Deluxe room, ocean view with a Queen bed ang 2 single beds with my visiting sisters from UK. I called the hotel before arriving that we need 3 beds. Upon arrival, the room that was given, has only 2 queen beds. The room is not big
This hotel is not a hidden gem it is a rare pearl.Brilliant location in the beach you can hear the waves from your bedroom the essence of tranquility, super staff and world class management.Located 2 meters from the seashore.
My 2nd time checking in here, as always good service good staff or personel, good food. Opt for the beach front view, coz the back road view tricycle sounds are annoying at night when you sleep. Overall it is a very good hotel, will definitely check in here again.
This hotel is in serious need of some upkeep and updating. They charge premium rates for a 2 star hotel at best. The deluxe room we stayed in looked into the hotel maintenance room. You could t open the curtains and there was no natural light. Staff sat in that room watching videos on their phones from 05:30am. We asked for another room and we were moved to one that looked into the pool pump room and the pump started at 06:00! Not great to wake up to that noise on your holiday. Also no natural light in this room. The bathrooms are bad. The shower heads are rusty and only provide a trickle of water. The towels are worn through and frayed. The toilet didn’t work properly in this second room so We asked to be moved again and the hotel kindly ‘upgraded’ us to a room with a view. Slightly better although the sliding doors kept getting stuck. The only good thing about this hotel is the location as it is directly on the beach at Station 3. The staff were friendly and as helpful as the could be in such a run down property. Breakfast was average and the coffee below average. Note: the website offers rooms at the annexe across the road…it is actually not directly across the road…the annexe is further up the road.…
I am posting here to give warnings about this hotel. I stayed very objective making this review. I already have doubts due to mixed reviews but still gave it a go. Unfortunately, it was my biggest mistake before the year ends, our Christmas and birthday were ruined RT airport transfers: They charged me 1,900/pax, we still gave it a go thinking the transfer will be smooth, as it’s more expensive than the famous decent hotel chain in Boracay anyway… however, to my dismay, they don’t have their own speedboat but rather, you will experience the same normal public route and commute which will only cost 1k it you do it on your own. Long queue, filling out forms and staying with the big crowd with no social distancing, it was a disaster! They overcharged for transfers but you will end up in public ferry with other 60 people!!! carry your own luggages too and the ferry is not clean. Hotel: - misleading website, the actual room and amenities looks like 30 years have passed, all worn out. - their towels is too old and literally looks like a rag (not even a foot towel) and bedcovers have molds (see pics) - the room, particularly the restroom is too gloomy, drainage sometimes smells during nightime. - the “executive deluxe with seaview”, in reality, is a “super old room with ROOF view”. - juices are powdered, breakfast is not good, the “egg station” is unsanitary and have small cockroaches, i even pointed it out to the crew who’s cooks the egg. - manual door lock (gosh, its already 2023! and “safety vault” is too outdated, manual and not working. - toilet issues: you need to flush multiple times!!!! and since the water pressure is too low, your waste will cleared only after hundred flushes! Service: - nothing special, above and beyond? Nope. The staff are respectful and will greet you though, same with rest of ALL hotels in Bora. Overall, i will not expect for anything from this hotel if I know that this is a budget hotel. However, it is not. I spent 23k 4d3n in an executive deluxe room with seaview. In return, we experienced anxiety, disappointment and too much stress. Too bad that we weren’t able to transfer as most decent hotels are fully booked due to holidays. Overall, this is my Worst Boracay vacation in 10 yrs and I visit Boracay 2x a year.…
I didn’t get what I paid for. I go to Boracay at least once a year. I have booked in different hotels. Some hotels I have booked are of better location and even of better price. This hotel is definitely not worth every penny you pay. The hotel is so worn out already. Service is so bad. Hotel needs so much repair. I do not understand why there are good ratings in this hotel. Maybe those who rated high for this hotel hasn’t tried booking with other hotels. As simple as the door knobs, it’s so rusty. So hard to open. Toilet is so dark and outdated. Hallways paint are falling off already. Clearly the owners of this hotel is not willing to spend anymore to improve the hotel yet they charge so much per night. They do not care about customer experience anymore. So if you want to feel shortchanged, please book in this hotel. I haven’t even talked about how the food sucks as well. I am sure NOT TO EVER BOOK AGAIN in this dirt hotel with hairballs and dusty floor.…
What I liked: Location was great at the end of the beach, not a whole lot of foot traffic. Air conditioining was fabulous had to turn it down not to freeze. Food was good, but same breakfast menu for a week got tirsome. Staff was fantastic, a little inexperienced but what they lacked in skill they made up for in effort. Never had to ask twice for anything. What I didn't like: Had mosquitoes in the room every night no mater what we did don't know how they got in but had em. Had to apply Off to go to sleep. They advertise loungers and umbrealls for the beach, but none were in sight or available. I do understand that the weather was not good the first couple of days we were there, but it was beautiful the last 4. Thety did some landscping and whenthey cut the branches off of the trees they left them lay for hours, they were polutted with red biting ants and could not even walk on the beach side of the property for 2 days without getting bit. Shower had balck mold.…
There are 2 properties. One is right on the beach which is great and the swimming pool is awesome as well. The other part of the hotel has the infinity pool but isn't on the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We stayed here for the 70th birthday of my mom and requested for a special exclusive setup in the balcony upstairs overlooking the beach. We had the amazing surprise of how lovely the whole setup turned out to be! We had some live bands, decorations and had the whole place all for us. The staff were very attentive and the whole arrangement exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to Ian the hotel manager who made sure everything was perfect for my moms special day!
Stayed at the SGL Deluxe Room. Upon arrival I was surprised several staffs assisted me with to the hotel from the airport and most especially big help even in my departure from the hotel a staff member assisted not just me but even my friends. Buffet breakfast is served but on the 2nd day the hotel receptionist called to ask if I wanted breakfast. I was lazy to go down but I was informed breakfast can be delivered to the room served everyday complete with iced coffee, water and juice and fruits. Though the hotel needs renovations they greatly matched it with the service they give to their hotel guests. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Estacio Uno!
