The room, the staff, and the food were all amazing! The location was also convenient because it was near the main road and only a 1-2 minute walk to the beach. They also provide beach towels and beach mats that we can use which definitely added to our convenience! We definitely enjoyed our stay and we will absolutely come back here for our next trip.

I had the pleasure of staying at Serene La Playa during my recent trip to Boracay, and I must say, it was a wounderful experience!
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. Cath, Nilo, Denny, and Jalyn were exceptional—always greeting me with warm smiles and going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.
Their level of professionalism and friendliness was unmatched, and their English was excellent, which made communication so easy.
The rooms were clean, with a cozy small balcony that offers a nice spot to unwind. One standout feature was the water pressure in the bathroom, something I didn’t expect to find on a small island like Boracay.
Breakfast was also a highlight of my stay very delicious with good options to choose from. My only suggestion would be to extend breakfast hours to 11 am instead of 10 am, as I would have loved a more leisurely start to some of my mornings.
All in all, Serene La Playa is a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for comfort, exceptional staff, and great value. Thank you again to Cath, Nilo, Denny, and Jalyn you made my trip unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back!

From the moment I arrived, the front-of-house staff exuded warmth and hospitality, making me feel right at home. They offer great amenities that you can take to the beach for your enjoyment.
I was staying in room 304, it was nice & was nicely renovated. Bed & pillows were comfy to my liking & having a modern TV mounted to the wall was great to hook up my laptop to watch movies on it.
The hotel service includes spa treatments and various day activities, with convenient pick-up and drop-off options available directly at the hotel.
The housekeeping and food & beverage teams were equally impressive. I appreciated how the F&B staff reached out to see if I wanted breakfast or room service, adding a personal touch to the experience.
The location can't be beaten—just a quick 30-second stroll to the beach, surrounded by bike rentals and laundry services, and only a 5-7 minute walk to D’mall.
Cons:
- Hot water took a bit of time to turn on for the shower
Overall, for the price, location, and outstanding staff, this place is a fantastic choice for anyone!

The place is in Station 1 but is still an easy walk to D’Mall. The room is comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The water pressure in the bathroom is great and the airconditioner worked perfectly. It was great value for what you pay for.

Our Boracay honeymoon became even more memorable as we stayed in Serene La Playa!
My husband and I choose this hotel because it looked clean and the space seemed enough for us when we checked it online. But our expectations were exceeded when we saw it in actual.
First, we came here soaked because of the heavy rain and the first thing that Belle (receptionist) and Patrick (staff) did was to give us warm body towels and hot coffee while we're waiting for our room in the lobby. So accommodating!
When we entered our room, it's spacious enough, very clean, and cozy. I am very specific on the sheets and rest room and all is well! The staff are all so accommodating, and even gave us some token for our honeymoon during our first night. Lovely!
Serene La Playa will be an auto preference for us. It's very, very near the beach, easy access to the road, and the ambiance is very simple yet elegant.
They have their own bar and restaurant, and we did avail their breakfast which we did not regret because their food and coffee were amazing and heavy enough to last up until lunch. We usually just eat snack in the evening since the breakfast is really heavy, made us save much money. We tried their other courses and of course, a bit expensive, just like any other resto in Boracay. But I could attest that they are worth the price since they give big servings. My husband and I loved their purple nachos!!!

Our stay at Serene La Playa Boracay was fantastic. The courteous, attentive staff welcomed us with smiles and allowed an early check-in due to bad weather, without extra charges. They also accommodated our late check-out request for the same reason, showing great consideration for our comfort.
The room was immaculate and well-appointed, a perfect retreat from the storm. Despite the gloomy weather, the staff’s warmth and professionalism made our stay memorable.
We highly recommend Serene La Playa Boracay for its excellent service and comfortable accommodations.

It was an overall satisfying stay: nice room with ample space, excellent location, friendly and accomodating staffs (they greet you whenever and wherever you meet them in the hotel), great food, and conveniently fast wifi.
Upon arrival, refreshing welcome drinks and towels were given (because we walked in the rain). Php 3000 security deposit was requested (refundable upon check out) before we went to our room.
Beds and pillows were comfortable to sleep in, aircon works well, TV had cable, and necessities were complete. The con was that the heater in the bathroom was tricky to adjust (water takes a long time to heat & cool so it was kind of hard to get the right temp.) The umbrella, provided both in the room and just outside the hotel, were both very helpful during our rainy stay there.
The location is good as it is VERY NEAR The Pig Out Bistro, Donenoo restaurant, Blackfish Coffee Bar, Sugba de Boracay, and the White beach. D'mall and Souvenir shops are also quite near, not tiring to walk. The only con is that when it rained, the pathway to both the beach front and the main road got flooded so we had to wade through the ankle-deep flood water (although, they later put bricks for people to step on).
Free breakfast is great! My family and I always had clean plates after every meal. I ordered tapa 3 days in a row (with extra rice, which is free too) because it was that good. It was unlike any other tapa I tried before. The meat was so tender and flavorful. It was sweet & salty (with a hint of sourness?) which is why it goes so well with the sunny side up eggs and hot chocolate. I will definitely have to come back for this tapa alone.

I had a great time staying in this hotel. The front desk is very accommodating. The welcome drink is very refreshing. We arrived early but they let us leave our belongings while we tour around the area. The rooms are clean and they have connecting rooms which is oh so good for families or friends having a vacation. The CR is very clean which is one of the things I check when I go to a hotel.
What I can recommend is putting a faucet on the ground floor so we can wash our feet with sands before entering our rooms.
Thank you Serene La Playa for providing our nice and warm stay in your hotel. Loved it ❤️
