Nothing fancy or extraordinary, you get what you have paid for. Booked it in Agoda and there was no hassle during our check-in. They do not usually entertain early check-in, at least during our stay, I assumed this is because they lack manpower? The room is very basic, the air-conditioning unit worked (contrary to the reviews I have read) as well as the heater. The only cons that I can say is the smell of the room? It smelled like insecticide/mosquito spray! The WiFi connection is bad, but there is a strong data signal. We had no trouble during our stay. Hotel employees are friendly. There are security guards on duty, too. We enjoyed our stay here. I like how it's close to D'Mall and to the beach.
Hotel is very basic, but it's very affordable. I stayed in room 21. The staff are friendly, tipical Filipino. The security guy is always present. No vegetarian options for breakfast. Wifi is very bad in the room. The bathroom is very narrow.
Accomodation was part of out packaged tour. It was not bad really, and as a budget traveller, it was ok. They have a balcony for drying wet clothes, which was very good of them. No sea view, since it's in the middle of the block between the beach and the highway. Breakfast is served only from 6:30 to 10am. After that, dining area was closed. would've wanted at least instant coffee and snacks. Comfy bed, hot shower and aircon. Those are my basics, so it's just ok.
My family and I stayed in this inn for 2 nights. Honestly not the best place. First of all we were put on third floor which wouldn't be that bad if we didn't have a senior citizen with us so it was hard for her to go up three flights, we tried to ask for a room downstairs but they were fully booked so not completely there fault. Second of all the door knob was pretty much broken, it was so hard to open from the inside, you had to jiggle it and push the door in and out to finally get it open. We asked the staff to have a look at it on the first night but the problem was still there on the second night. And lastly it wasn't even that clean and the tap in our room was broken. Staff wasn't that friendly either and if we asked them something acted like it was such a bother. Overall: It's an affordable place to stay but you can stay at other places in the area for the same price and better.…
We get that this is cheap, but we've been to cheap hotels that are better than this but I'll try my best to be fair somehow. Redeeming qualities: - Near D'Mall - Quiet - Near Talipapa (wet market) - Spacious common room and lobby. - Good wifi reception. Let's get to the not so redeeming qualities. - The door lock where we stayed in was not working properly. We could not get out and since we're on the third floor, staffs could not hear us. Hotel rooms has no phone, so we have to use our personal mobile phone to contact the landline phone from the reception. it is a safety risk. - There are only 3 breakfast choices on their free breakfast menu. - No hair dryer. No refrigerator. - Bottled waters inside the room is not for free. - The toilet's flush sometimes don't work.
