They owe me a refund of $250. I had to leave and go to another hotel because the air-conditioning was not working in my room. They promised to refund me the money. I’ve contacted them several times but they have done nothing. I also contacted Booking.com And they were not able to help at all either claiming this was booked through a third-party. I guess that’s a loophole so that Booking.com doesn’t have to provide customer service. Very disappointing.

Whilst travelling around The Philippines I knew I had to go to the island of Boracay. With so many choices of accommodation on the island I decided to stay at Roy's Rendezvous. Accommodation is in bungalows or a two storey building. I was in a bungalow which was pretty basic. Air-conditioning and a comfortable bed and cold showers. But the breakfast served by 2 lovely girls was the highlight for me. Pancakes with mango. Coffee and whatever you else you need.

The Manager (forgot the name, sorry) is very accommodating from the start...from inquiry up to our stay. The accommodation is exact for us for 14 adults and 4 kids, we got 5 rooms. Location is good, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. This is the place that we are looking for, you are just like at home, chillin' with the whole family. Breakfast is yummy! What we really love about the place is it's quiet and less crowd. However, our stay could have been great if the water heater is functioning.

A one minute walk to the beach, so excellent was great. It was on a quieter part of the beach with less crowds! Staff were lovely, and they have a really cute friendly dog. The rooms were clean, and the atmosphere is really relaxed on the grounds. The included breakfast was really nice. We would recommend to anyone!

Hi Roy, For legal purposes, this mail constitutes our official answer to Roy Rendez-vous hotel. 1) I am not sure what stains you are talking about. It is probably earth and sweat. In any case, it can be washed easily. Your demand of 5000P for towels and blankets is simply incredible. Especially after not cleaning our room for 3 nights, which is why my room was full of ants (written proof 1). 2) We sent you a message through booking.com telling you that we would arrive at night (written proof 2). You were not there. What is worst, you sent us a message in the day of our arrival (written proof 3) saying that we had to arrive before 7 pm, when you knew we would not be there. Completely unacceptable. Of course, we had no place to go and we had paid for our room, so we desperately looked for our keys. Your desk was full of money and other value-items, of which we took NOTHING. Your own CCTV can confirm it (visual proof 4). 3) You sent my friend threatening sms to his phone (written proof 5). Who do you think you are? Obviously your plan is to scare tourists after they leave for them to pay, but it won't work with us. All your sms will be used as evidence of cyber threat. Don't bother sending more sms, I will only answer by official booking.com mail and CC my company lawyer. A copy of this mail will also be posted on booking.com and tripadvisor.com. We recommend to take another place in Boracay, the place is nice but the owner is certainly an unreliable and possible dangerous person. Have a nice day.

Garden made this place good for us. It's quiet place. Accessible to the ATM, restaurants, etc. through all walking distance. It's bungalow, traditional wooden style. But inside of it so basic that doesn't fit how it looks from the outside but I enjoyed the hammock it's very relaxing. The owner and the staff are very helpful.

We love everything about roys rendezvous ... it took us 5 minutes walk from the main road when we reached Roys rendezvous. We booked roys for 7 days and it was a wonderful experienced living in bungalows Nipa Hut ... The service was excellent and breakfast were served well. Aling Olivia and Mang Pedro and their employees were very friendly to us. The place is neat and clean and the terraces was so relaxing and calm. The beach is just 1 minute walk. Our stay in Boracay definitely memorable one.

Exactly a month ago, I travelled solo to Boracay for my birthday. That was my first time in the island but I felt safe and really enjoyed my trip. I spent two nights at Roy's and I wish I could have stayed longer because there's too much to do in the island and I felt really at home in this place. The owners and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The whole place is very clean and quiet and most of all very accessible to the beach and nearby establishments. I stayed at the bungalow with hammock. It's very homey and spacious for me. I love eating my breakfast outside with their garden as my view. It didnt feel like I'm alone in a far island. I'm totally at home. On my 2nd day, i booked a group island hopping tour through their staff. He even accompanied me to the meeting place for the tour. It was very convenient for me. I'll surely be back in Boracay with my friends next time and i will still stay at Roy's, no doubt about that!
