Upon inquiry, the manager/owner replied immediately, accommodating all my inquiries.
Upon arrival, we had some welcome drinks. Then, all of a sudden our room and our yaya's room got free upgrade since there were less people in the island. We got the best ocean views in the resort. The rooms were large, so spacious, and the natural lighting was perfect. From CR to balcony, I felt that their sizes were equivalent to a room already. The public CR is clean. It was a beachfront resort at Station 3. It is also beside the road to Station X so if you want to have dinner there, you can just walk. All the staff were very accommodating and hospitable. They will also disinfect your luggages before carrying to the room.
I had fun staying at the balcony before sleeping because there were mo mosquitoes. We also had some few drinks at the resto since there were not much nightlife at the island these days. My sleep was very peaceful and comfortable. The sofa was also comfortable and my kids love staying there. The hot water was working well. The room also has blower, TV and refrigerator. I have recommended this resort to my friends already and we will definitely go back.
My fave breakfast was the tapsilog that's why I had it for two mornings. Their pancake was good too.

My husband and I stayed in a premier sea view room, spacious, clean, large bathroom, nice bed, balcony with views of the beach and the ocean-a nice place to relax on the chaise lounge chair. The staff were wonderful, so nice and friendly. Breakfast was included at their Sensei Restaurant which faces the beach. You have a variety of choices for breakfast, either American or Filipino breakfast. Food at the restaurant was very good. With the new Boracay regulations the hotels cannot put out beach chairs anymore on White Beach, so if you see photos of the sun loungers on the sand, assume its an older photo.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The family room have leaks on the wall. The floor is moisting from the AC too. The floor is wet most of the time. The housekeeping never cleaned our room for once. The other guest we talked with said that we could request for a cleaning. Never came to our mind to request because comparing to other resort/hotel we’ve been, changing of linens and cleaning of rooms were done everyday. Upon check out,a staff checked our room but it was too late when we remembered that our chocolate was left in the fridge and a toy shovel was left behind too. Was it really checked or didn’t bothered to tell at all? But with all those, some staffs are accommodating and helpful with us.

My girlfriend, son, and I stayed here for about 3 months. We have met many people and made a lot of new friends, including many of the staff at Calypso. During this time we had lots of private events for birthdays and going away parties at Calypso with our new friends. All while living right on the beautiful, famous White Beach of Boracay.

The scuba diving is a must. It was our first time scuba diving and the master diving instructor, Renato, made the experience unforgettable. Would definitely recommend it if you've never tried it.

All of the rooms are pretty spacious and clean. There are a few of the nicer rooms which are basically right on top of the beach. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and having coffee on the balcony was amazing. The internet is 100mb/s so as long as the resort isn't full, it is plenty fast enough. In fact, a lot of "digital nomads" would do their online work at the restaurant, overlooking the beach.

The resort is in a great location. It is about a 5 minute walk on the beach from D-Mall and online delivery is cheap to the stations. The food in their restaurant (Sensi) is really good. Especially the pizza. I would recommend their signature Sensi pizza.

I can't recommend this place enough. You will love it there. The sense of community and friendliness is unmatched in Boracay. We stayed in Boracay for over 5 months, in many places, and will definitely be returning to Calypso next trip.

If you’re looking for a scuba diving experience Calyso is very organised. I stayed a week with a quick refresher course in the hotel dive pool and then many dives. In Boracay, diving is quite amazing. Many different dive sites from shipwrecks, sunken aircraft, natural coral reefs and very clean water. From the fact Boracay was shut down for a refresher, I didn’t see one bit of plastic in the water. It is incredible because it can be a busy place. A beer can was found about 30 metres down on one dive and the Dive Master took it out immediately. It’s great to see the pride the locals take in their paradise.

As an advanced PADI Diver I wasn’t disappointed and the professional and high safety standards of the crew are on full display. Equipment is at the higher end for rentals. I bought my own mouthpiece which the crew was more than happy to deal with.

Hotel rooms are cosy enough with restaurants everywhere. Whilst I couldn’t get my tv to work, I didn’t even bother worrying about it. Too much else to do.

Chassy and the team of divers at Calypso made me feel very comfortable. Demonstrating safe practices reassured me that this was a much better than I’ve had elsewhere Asia.

Thanks for the stay Calypso and value for money is good for anyone sitting on the fence about booking.

This is a very honest and objective review.

The staff is friendly and nice. Anything I need they take care of it for me. But I want to set your expectations. It is not a five-star hotel. It's a very average room and you're not going to have a desk. No office chair, etc. You will have a comfortable bed and an air conditioner. The internet speed is decent but not super fast.

The one negative that I have about staying here is that they put my room right above their restaurant. And their restaurant has live music starting at 12:00 p.m. and does not finished until 12:00 a.m. so you better like very loud music in your room because you're not going to get any sleep till after 12:00 at night. My suggestion is when you come here you need to ask questions about getting you a room away from the restaurant. Then maybe you won't hear the music so loud like I had to.

I have just completed my PADI Advanced Open Water dive course at Calypso Beach and Dive Resort.
From the moment I met Paulo, my experience with the entire premist was excellent. Now, I must say I did not stay at the resort but I was onsite most of the day from Monday to Friday as I did my course and some follow up fun dives.
I ate here often and the food was excellent and well priced.
The diving. All aspects of the diving, from training, equipment, knowledge was first rate. I cannot speak highly enough personally of the skill and depth of knowldege from Paulo, a true pro who loves his work.
The dive sites were fantastic, the boat and crew were also great. I really can only say good things about my entire experience with this dive centre. If or when I return to Boracay I will go straight to Calypso for all of my diving needs.
I was also fortunate to see the brand new refurbished rooms on site and I sure will be booking a room on site as well.
Overall and excellent experience.

Most accommodating resort we've experienced in Boracay. From check-in, daily breakfast, special requests, to check out, we were treated with much care. Even my baby had fun saying hi to the staff. The room was accessible to the beach and you can even borrow beach mats for free. The place was child friendly, they provided us a basin to make bath time with our 1yo easier. Everyday they make sure the high chair for him is sanitized. We checked out late and our supposed transfer left us and they were the ones who helped us arrange hassle-free transfer. Convenience stores are accessible from the resort.

We were guests at this hotel and enjoyed some lunches and breakfasts in their restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and there are direct beach views from the restaurant.

One of my favourite meals was the rib fillet steak. I took a chance as I was expecting the steak to not be tender but it was delicious and tender.

Overall meals were very good. The only meal I didnt enjoy was the eggs benedict breakfast as it was far too sour.

Hi I will answer your questions first on the ones I’m definite with the answer. Their internet I would say is on top unlike the other hotels we stayed where, when we go in the room or roam around the vicinity it slows down or get interrupted. Regarding your query about the room I would suggest to drop an email with them to confirm your booking that it’s okay, I’m pretty sure they can accommodate you all but still it’s much better if you crossed checked it with them. Hope this help and you all have a great vacation for next month! Rhea ☺️

Hello, I've only had a couple cocktails here when I was caught in the rain last week. First round was before HH, full price is about US$ 4 each. After 5, only SELECT cocktails is 50% off, so about $2 each (these select cocktails are notated on the drink menu).
