Excellent stay from the beginning until the end. Great location on the island with just short walks to every thing. Wonderful nightly entertainment, delicious food and very accommodating smiling staff! While traveling with a PWD they exceeded my expectations on accommodating us with our needs. Thank you for making our stay perfect!
I do not recommend. Very poor service and resort. I can get a better hotel for the same price. If you are looking for late nights live band music and a lotta noise at the beach front, then this is for you. But if you are like me, with 2 kids, find another place. An absolute not-kid friendly resort. Lots of surprises. -i left the “make up my room” sign afternoon, I came back 10pm, surprise, room is still a mess -I asked for drinking water refill, they said yes, Surprise, it never came -The rooms furnitures including the bed frame is made from stones, my kids bumped their head twice on the head board -the live band is sooo disturbing it goes until late night, you will hear it in your room -the on-going construction is also terrible, that their pool cannot be used until after 6pm, they didn’t even bother telling me when I booked…
excellent room and staffs. Owner is very kind. Foods were very delicious and with free breakfast. Best location , in front of Main Beach. On our last day, we were asked to stay on a upgraded room and we appreciate it. Very near to all restaurants and beaches. We will rate it 5 star because we were satisfied.
My mother and i stayed for four days and three nights. The establishment is a beachfront property. Our room had a partial view of the ocean which was really nice. Transport to and from the airport is an available option, very convenient. Affordable with good value for money. And the staff are really nice too.
I stayed 5 nights in oceanview room. The place was perfect for me. The view was amazing and marvelous. Breakfast tasted good. You can choose the local food or American food. Plus, Dive team is the best ever. I tried Open Water Certificate with the team, and it was the best thing I did during my trip. Nato teacher was great and the team was nice and taught very well. I enjoyed a lot
Our stay in Calypso Dive and Beach Resort is one of the most perfect and excellent service we have experienced in Boracay Island, Philippines. The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. Hotel Staff are very friendly and hospitable and we never experience any problems staying in this hotel plus their room service and foods are so perfect! This is the perfect hotel to stay if you want an easy access to the beach front. Kudos to the management, I feel so proud staying in this hotel. My family and friends will definitely be back again to this hotel. Highly reccommended. Thank you Calypso, You're the best!
The hotel is very good, clean and comfortable. It is located in the beach front so its convenient for us especially we have children. Recommended for families. Just few walks to the beach, stores and restaurants. Its between station 2 and 3 and the bars are just around the corner so its no hassle. The room and CR is spacious. I enjoyed our stay in Calypso. Convenient and affordable for a beach front hotel. I will definitely recommend it with others. Also, the crews are very nice and accommodating.
We have stayed in Boracay many times before, and we normally find ourselves with hotels like hennan, astoria, etc.. all of which did not give us the same memorable experience as Calypso did! Our room “Mamsa” was fronting the beach, clean and spacious, nice amenities in the room and around the facility, resto had great food both their italian seafood resto and Pares Hilton! Great vibes at the resto as well as they always had great entertainers and they even let us jam! This is very important to us filipinos as we find joy in being involved! Unlike big name hotels that are so strict, and dont even let us jam with their bands even when their bands get boring. All in all, we had a more personalized and pleasant stay, that is all important when you visit boracay. you dont get the same experience from some big name hotels who employ a bunch of workers who only come to work for the salary, and do not belong in Hospitality. They (hennan and astoria) should remember that working at a hotel actually needs a 4 year college degree! Calypso on the other hand is a no fuss, and memorable experience. They even have a 12 ft pool where you can practice equalizing for your scuba adventures!…
+++ very nice location. a bit away from the party mile do you can sleep well at night. and it’s directly at the beach, perfect for swimming or just refresh. very big rooms with plenty of space! the italian restaurant which is part of the hotel offers very good food with a big variety, there’s something for locals and for tourists. and the dive center which is also included gives the perfect opportunity to explore underwater, no matter if you just want to try out diving or if you’re a certified diver. —- maybe I’m too much used to of breakfast buffets, but Calypso doesn’t offer breakfast as a buffet, but only the breakfast menu where you can get one thing and not try out different food. there are also no fresh fruits and you have to decide between coffee or juice where usually I drink both for breakfast.…
Room is clean, and they are accommodating. It’s hard to checkin the resort because we walked at the beach front carrying our baggages. Which is kinda embarrassing. Has no signal inside the room. Bidet is not turning off which was a disaster. 1mbps wifi. Which is ridiculous. You’ll wake up in the middle of the night because the ref is very noisy.
