Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The place is nothing desirable as seen from the road. It looks like a parking lot and garage. However, if you go deeper, you'll find yourself in Chalet Tirol what looks like a log cabin but is actually made of concrete. The back portion of the house leads to a tiny cafe and a few steps later, you're at the beach of Boracay with its famous powdery fine white sand.
The rooms have cable TV and air conditioning and bathrooms have showers with heater.
The kitchen is complete with a sink, cupboard full of dishes, stove, and a purified water dispenser (hot/cold).
Only downside is the intermittent power outages and loss of water supply in one afternoon/evening our of the four nights we stayed.

Мы искали жилье на месте, наткнулись на эти шале. У нас было шале, состоящее из 2 комнат, разделенных раздвижной дверью. Ванная одна на всех. Привлекло наличие веранды со столом и скамьями. Вид на море! Отель находится на первой линии, но немножко "утоплен" от пешеходной "трассы" туристов, поэтому очень тихо и спокойно. Единственный минус: в ванной произошло нашествие муравьев! Такого количества этих насекомых я не видела никогда! Они ползали по полотенцам, туалетной бумаге, стенам, полу...везде... Сказали персоналу и уехали на весь день. Они потравили наших питомцев. Вечером ни одного уже не было)

If you want to experience the fine, soft, powdery sand of Boracay, stay in the vicinity of Station 1. And you are travelling with kids who love to play in the sand, but you are on a tight budget, I suggest you stay here. The room is not hotel-like but it's big enough for a family of 5. The location is very near the nice restaurants in Station 1, and you'll get peace and quiet in the evenings because it's a bit far from the night spots in Station 2. Although, we used to just stroll along the white beach to get to D'Mall, where there are more food choices and shops to buy your souvenirs. The best thing I can say about the Chalet is that you get a feeling as if you are in your own home as you eat breakfast with your family on the dining table or spend a lazy afternoon in a hammock while the kids are playing or on the patio as you watch the sunset together.

Horrible experience. As the staff opened the door to our room, lo and behold, two ladies (apparently, the staff) were sleeping on the bed! They didnt even change the sheets!!! And there were even leftover food on the dresser table!
