Contemporary, clean, and very nice 5-star hotel in Boracay. Located in the eastern part of the island, it’s about less than a 5 minute ride from the hotel pick up/drop off point of D’mall (station 2). It has a huge pool at the center of the property and a smaller pool that’s near their private and relaxing beach (sand is not as fine compared to the western part of the island). The landscaping of the property is very well maintained. The ambiance and design of their restaurants (Qtchen for the included buffet breakfast and Seafood for dinner) are also contemporary and tastefully done. The hotel is composed of several buildings and they are named after the different bodies of water. We stayed at the Indian (ocean) building and we booked in their premier one bedroom suite which was very roomy and nice. It had its own kitchen, dining, and spacious living room, the bedroom had a queen size bed. The bathroom is also big with a bath tub. Our room also had a wrap around balcony overlooking the main pool and and garden. Very nice. We used the main pool during the day and night and both times the water was warm but the pool isn’t heated. The huge pool was divided into different depths/areas wherein the depth ranged from 1-4 feet. The three feet area had the jacuzzi type function. Very relaxing. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of dishes and the majority changes everyday. They had a noodle and egg station. Most of the local and international dishes would taste as expected. Was a bit disappointed with the bacon because it was tough instead of crispy. I enjoyed the daily congee and the noodle soup station. Dinner at Seafood was a nice experience. We had a drink voucher with our stay. The ambiance is nice, good for a date night. Servers are very knowledgeable and I appreciate them explaining the components of each dish. They were also very attentive. Food is good and I especially liked the lechon rice which was delicious and generous. The experience was not cheap. Room service was excellent. Food was also generous especially the noodle dish and all were very tasty. Tip: you’re entitled to two mineral water bottles per person each day, if you have room service, ask for additional pitcher of iced water if needed. Great staff, good facilities. We had an overall wonderful stay at Aqua Boracay, except the shower. In our room, B1-205, it was so difficult to get the right mixture of hot and cold water. No matter how big or small the adjustments one makes, the water would either be cold or too hot. I called the attention of the front desk about this during my checkout and I hope they resolve this. Another suggestion for management, pls have better quality bedroom slippers because what you provided were so thin and cheap. Lower starred hotels have much better bedroom slippers. And have your brand printed on it.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding customer service we received during our recent stay at Aqua Boracay. The exceptional level of care and attention provided by the staff truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we are warmly greeted by your front desk team who displayed a genuine enthusiasm and professionalism. Their efficiency in handling our check-in process and their willingness to accommodate my requests were truly commendable. They made me feel valued as a guest and set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. Moreover, I was captivated by the amities and beauty of your hotel. The well-maintained rooms and elegant decor created an atmosphere of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the exquisite furnishings to the thoughtful amenities, exceeded my expectations. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure that guests experience utmost comfort and enjoyment. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the hotel's restaurant staff. The culinary delights I savored during our meals were a testament to the skill and creativity of your chefs. The impeccable service provided by the restaurant team during breakfast further enhanced our dining experience. Mr. Jonash, waiter at the pool deserves to be mentioned also as he was very nice and attentive. Thank you Jonash! I would also like to mention Ms. Sara of the reservation for allowing my request and checking me after reading my FB message about the concern I raised. I really appreciate the care you showed! Lastly, I must mention the exceptional service I received from Ms. Charity of the reservations department. Job well done Ms. Charity! Very responsive in attending my emails and taking note all my requests. Thank you so much! To the management of Aqua, please convey my appreciation and gratitude to all the staff members who contributed to making our stay such a memorable one. Their dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail truly reflect the high standards your hotel upholds. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit to your establishment. Without a doubt, I will highly recommend your hotel to friends, family, and colleagues who are seeking an exceptional experience. Once again, thank you for the outstanding customer service and for providing an environment of beauty, luxury, and comfort. Your team's commitment to excellence is truly commendable. Warmest regards, Albert

We stayed for 3 nights. Pros: -Good swimming pools. You can also order food and drinks by the pool if you want. -Air con. It’s nice coming back to a cool room after being in the outdoor heat. -room was clean. They provide a clothes drying rack so you can dry clothes after the beach -the food is average. If you don’t want to eat there then there are other good options close by. We ate at the beachfront bar at the hotel next door which had a good vibe. -the bar Cons: -you get 2 small bottles of combined shampoo and conditioner a day. It would have been better to bring my own because I like conditioner and this stuff made my hair dry . Also you get a small bar of soap instead of bath gel so bring both these things if it matters to you. -you get 4 x 350ml water bottles a day which isn’t much but it’s something. We refilled our bottles at the gym. -the front of the hotel is still not finished and looks like a dump. When we left it was raining heavily and the front was flooded. Also when we arrived the way the driveway and entrance looks makes you question if you are at the right hotel. Once you walk in though it is nice. - the location is ok. It is a short walk to d mall if you go out the front and right up the road but it is quite dirty and the street smells. It’s a little longer and ever so slightly cleaner if you take the path along the beach and turn left. We didn’t take the hotel shuttle because it wasn’t that far to walk. - service is average. We asked for a tricycle at a certain time to go to the ferry which they said they’d call for. When we came back we were told they couldn’t get one. They called in the hotel van driver who was slow to arrive and sat in the van until one of us knocked on the window and asked what the hold up was (needing to get to the airport. We allowed plenty of time to get there due to delays like this).

Spacious rooms with balcony. I appreciate the floor to ceiling windows of the rooms. Lots of greenery. Pools are very big - good for swimming with kids and doing laps. You have an option to go to the beach - very quiet compared to the touristy side of the island. However, it's only about 5-10 minute walk from D Mall if you wish to see more shops and restos.

Negative: The hotel has severe problems with the way it is build. In addition to all the noises from the outside (whose you can hear through the cheap windows) you hear every noise from the other rooms around you. 2 almost sleepless nights for us. In addition to that, the breakfast buffet is very poor in concerns of fresh fruits and cheese / cold cuts. We have stayed for 2 weeks and there was only watermelon and pineapple (except for 2!! days), so we had to bring our own mangos. The first room we have lived in also had severe problems with mold in the bathroom. In the gym, only 2 out of 5 cardio devices worked properly - and there was also a strong smell of mold. Positive: The staff is outstanding. No matter where you are, they always have a smile on their faces and are willing to do everything to make your stay memorable. The design of the hotel and the rooms is chic Layout of pool is nice - you have different areas for swimmers, kids, whirlpool etc (only pain here: same music every day).

I can only rate this hotel 5 out of 5. From a flawless pickup at the airport to delivery to their private boat and transferred to their private Van and delivered to the hotel. They offer an hourly shuttle service to the activity center in town that make your daily planning so easy. .The location is minutes away from white beach but without the busy activity and noise and still offer a gorgeous beach. .Never have I experienced staff that is genuinely interested in helping and I mean all staff, it is truly incredible. The morning breakfast buffet is full of variety and delicious. I rarely write a review but feel compelled to let travelers know.

Reo and Dondi are one of the best staff I've ever met in my entire life. The two bartenders solely give Aqua its charm and give light during the night. The two of them alone are friendly enough to give you a wonderful time when drinking. Although this was the highlight of my stay in Aqua, the amenities and ambiance should also be commended. Aqua provides its guests with a relaxing yet upbeat vibe to those who come in.
