We stayed here over New Years. The staff were really friendly and helpful, any problem we had was generally addressed. The pool and cafe is really nice and relaxing. Food was good. Really nice views. Nice decor inside with the art n that. Some carp floating about in a pond near the cafe..yeah, it’s a nice setting. Only 2 problems. Due to the distance it is a bit of a jaunt to the beach but the hourly pickup was very prompt. Anyone with children, be aware though: it seems to be every man for himself getting on the taxi. We couldn’t get on despite having got there first, and another family, who were also there before others, had to go and pay for another taxi instead because they couldn’t get on. Not blaming the hotel for that but the driver told us to wait for another transport

Whilst the hotel itself is a little dated the staff were wonderful and the Manager very helpful and always around. The shuttle runs hourly into station 1 and collects at at quarter past the hour - it was without exception prompt and a lovely touch as the hotel itself is up a steep hill. The views from the terrace are wonderful and the pool very clean. WiFi worked in the room and the lobby which was a bonus. The only issue I had was the mattresses were lumpy/springs had gone which the hotel swapped for me but the second one was the same - I think they need to invest a little and this would then be a great place - away from the noise of central but with easy access into it.

Couldn't think of a bad thing to say. Maybe a better menu at the restaurant? But we were mostly out and about so we ate out most of the time. Free breakfast was a plus and the frequent shuttles made it a breeze to go back and forth. Best view on the deck as it's on top of a hill away from the busy and crowded area Super friendly staff and the manager was always there overlooking the whole operation. I asked for a water hose close to the entrance to wash my sandy feet and I was surprised to see how fast that was installed. I dig this place!

This is difficult. SO many positive things to say about Hotel Soffia. Location is excellent. Close enough (with convenient shuttle service) to all the places you could care to go, but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. From the patio, you can see most of the island. The Staff. ABSOLUTLY wonderful. From the front desk, to the restaurant, to the shuttle drivers. Helpful, warm, friendly. ALWAYS greet you with a smile and a genuine one, at that. Need help? Interested in something in particular? They will take care of you though advice and action. I can't imagine staying anywhere but here.

This is our second time that my young family and I have been back to hotel Soffia in Boracay. It is always such a pleasure to stay here. Arturo Gatdula, the manager, and his staff, deliver a first class service and are always pleased to help in any way. We will miss this place, it's such a great place for families with young children to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dmall/ white beach, and enjoy the peace and quiet that hotel Soffia offers 😊😊😊
