We stayed in Auhana for 5 days, booked a Junior suite.
we also booked transportation from Caticlan to Auhana through the hotel.
It was triple expensive comparing the price you get if you book yourself a trip from the airport but the service was exceptional and since we were really tired travelling all night, we really didnt regret the money we paid since we reached the hotel within 15 minutes.
Reception staff was very polite and helpful and did let us have early check in with no extra charge.
Auhana is a New hotel and you can see it from the first glimpse.
Our room was spotless, spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
Only con is that in our room there was no balcony/ no view and mostly when washing our bathing suits there was nowhere to hang them.
The staff generally was very polite and friendly. The main swimming pool was clean and nice. The surrounding area is really beautiful with trees and Flower, although i believe that in a few years when trees grow bigger it Will be much more beautiful. The chappel up the hill is picturesque! You must visit for photos during sunset! The Gym is clean and well equipped unfortunately is open only 9 hours per Day.
There is free shuttle service almost every hour from the hotel to station 2 which is very helpful since the hotel is quite isolated from the area with all the restaurants and rest things and its not very easy to find a tricycle from the hotel to the "Centre".
Only disappointment we had was the breakfast buffet.
At the time we visited, the hotel is usually packed with chinese celebrating lunar New year.
During our visit and due to the coronavirus the country closed borders to the chinese so the hotel was practically empty.
Because of that the breakfast buffet worked with basic choices which were running off if you were visiting around 09:30 since breakfast was closing at 10.
Other than that we can say that we had a pleasant stay and we believe that we made a good choice staying there.

Special occasions for us mean spending time with family and splurging on travels. Even with the coronavirus scare and all, we've already planned our Boracay trip and booked our stay at the Auhana many weeks back. So, we went ahead and pushed through.

It's our first time to stay at the Auhana but not in Boracay. We've gotten the hang of staying at different hotels here, usually in Station 1 or Station 2.

We chanced upon the Auhana while checking out new places to stay in, the Station 3 location is not our usual go to, but we decided to give it a try – and it turned out to be a truly five-star experience for us.

The room was spacious unlike some other rooms that we've tried, big but with bulky furniture around. The Auhana room is big enough to accommodate us and our 2 kids, and from our room there's a balcony where you can get a view of the beach, and shell shaped pool which makes you want to go out and swim or simply spend a day under the sun.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, they were very attentive with our requests and inquiries. As for our food, our booking came with a breakfast buffet, and the buffet had lots of choices from asian or continental, which was especially favorable for me since our kids tend to be picky with food. The rest of the day was spent either at the beach or beside the pool, and and there's this staff (i forgot his name) who kind of checks on us if we need anything and would greet us when we pass by him at the halls which for me seems very personal, unlike other hotels we've been to.

Our vacation definitely was filled with pictures, they even have this chapel where you can have pictorial. The homey luxurious feeling makes you want to stay or come back. I'm not sure if people are not into traveling now, but my family is happy we went ahead with the trip (with the necessary virus precaution in some places, of course)

It was zero worry and all vacation feels at The Auhana – From the food, staff, room to the view.

The Auhana blew me away with their service. It was the best service I have ever received in a hotel. From start to finish, it was a perfect experience.

The Auhana have a private room at the jetty as well as a private speed boat and shuttles. The driver greeted us at the airport with colorful garlands and assisted us with our luggage. They filled in the necessary paperwork on our behalf at the jetty and we then took a quick boat ride to Boracay Island.

The Auhana is located at the end of Station 3 which is the quietest area of the famous White Beach. They also have the longest stretch of sand on White Beach.

The lobby area of the hotel is impressive and the welcome cocktail was called the "Red Auhana" - such a delicious cocktail. We were also offered "Turon" which is a local dish consisting of bananas and honey.

We stayed in a suite overlooking White Beach, the room was spacious and had plush bedding.

They have multiple kids areas, a spa, fitness centre and a complimentary shuttle service to the local mall. They also have a chapel which has amazing views of the beach.

They have three pools, but the best is the pool overlooking the ocean which is the perfect place to watch the sunset. The waiters served me cocktails in the pool.

Dinner was an experience. We had calamari and pasta to eat and there was live entertainment. They did a traditional Filipino dance and a fire show which was really spectacular.

I would 100% recommend this property, it is advertised as a family resort, but its definitely also suitable for couples.

this is not a five star hotel, this is a zero star hotel. the staff is not trained and terribly stupid. in our room the lock broke and we sat on the floor near the door to the room, in the corridor, for an hour, while 5 (five!) hotel employees, in turn, tried to open the door to our room. and it would go on even longer if I had not yelled and demanded to call the chief manager. as a result, after another 15 minutes the main manager came and in ten seconds opened the door to our room with a service key. why did we have to wait an hour and a half? they could not fix the door lock and we were moved to another room. the main manager apologized and offered a free dinner or a free transfer from the hotel (in the morning we flew to another island). he lied, they didn’t give dinner, the transfer was not free. I try to forget this terrible hotel as a nightmare.

I rarely write reviews but do so when an experience extremely good or extremely bad. Nearly everything about my stay at Auhana falls into the latter category.

Getting to Boracay is a bit tricky. As I knew I’d be tired, I chose a place that advertised a shuttle service to Cataclan airport. What wasn’t advertised was high cost or the outrageous requirement that singles pay double. I opted to figure it out on my own for 1/5 cost. When I checked in, I was told this cost was because I had booked through 3rd party site (try to find that on website!) and there was no way around it. That turned out to be a lie as I left at same time as another solo traveler who had negotiated away the double charges.

No room for full explanation of rest of experience, but low points were excessive staff to guest ratio that leaves you feeling like a guarded prisoner, bland and expensive food in all 3 deserted restaurants, gym ill equipped and listed hours not kept - you could request it be opened which then resulted in multiple guards standing around watching you work out and asking how long you’ll be, and multiple “checkpoints” - got very creeped out by brining asked multiple times during a single walk about my room number.

***Most important note regards safety. This is a newly hotel built on a bluff in a typhoon prone place. Both the building and the staff should have been better prepared for Typhoon Ursula. I can’t fault the majority of the staff as they were kind and trying to be supportive, but I can and do fault management for its horrific protocol or lack thereof for emergencies. Guests were not informed Christmas Eve of predictions - I only knew because friend texted me I was in direct path. This is completely unacceptable. Notes could/should have been placed under every door. The alarms are sporadically placed and were inaudible from my room (although overly loud Christmas music constantly piped was). The building clearly not designed for storms as damage was high. The roof next to my hallways sustained signicant damage and a window just across from me exploded during second part of storm. Housekeeping did come by to do room checks and they were kind but also clearly shaken. I felt bad for them and their homes.

A weekend vacation made perfect. At the Caticlan airport, we were welcomed by The Auhana’s courteous and efficient staff. We were transported to the port in a cool, well groomed hotel van then whisked to the Boracay island in their equally well-manicured speed boat. In no time, we saw ourselves entering this beautiful hotel, so imposing, to say the least, but warmed by the smiles of hospitable hotel staff all over. Just what I needed after the hectic Holiday activities in Metro Manila. Serene atmosphere, great amenities. Experience at its finest. Till our next visit! Superb beach, btw.❤️

It was an amazing experience to be welcomed warmly by the resort staff starting at the airport up to the hotel. The rooms are elegantly designed, spacious, disability accessible and super clean. The towels, it’s the best smelling towels! The linens and beds are very comfortable and of highest quality. Another thing to note is the availability of foot wash just before entering your room/suite. The resort have several restaurants to dine and they all serve very good food that will satisfy your palate. All the employees were so polite, caring, and courteous. The luxurious golf carts are such a plus to go around the resort. It also includes a game room, mini theater, ballroom, spa, chapel, kids play area to name a few. The resort provides a complete package for the entire family or friends. The Auhana resort is located at station 3. One of the best locations if you’re looking for a nice quiet and relaxing place to stay. If you want to have some fun water activities, it’s only a few minutes walk to station 2. We stayed for four days and three nights and our stay at the resort was one of the best to reminisce.

Excellent in all aspects : cleanliness, security, customer service, food, furnishings with class & character. Auhana is the best resort to beat in Boracay. Am looking forward to bring my family next time . If you want serenity & exclusivity you will never go wrong w/ this resort. You'll meet the staff with smiling faces all the time. Beachfront is the longest amongst all, cool & pristine water, fine sand & lifeguards all over the perimeter. There's shuttle if you want to explore & stroll, Stations 1 & 2 & golf carts to find your way around the resort. Transfers are excellent too, equipped with a private van & speedboat. Overall is Royal Class at your service,

This 4.5 star hotel is the best hotel in Boracay! The facilities are first class, the hotel is kids friendly, the staff is very courteous and you get free shuttle to go around the different buildings. The stretch of white sand in front of the hotel is clean and you can stay in the pool or the beach all day. It is home away from home. If you want to feel like royalty, this is the hotel for you.

My friend and I spent a week at the Auhana. I got a great last minute deal on the hotel (at about 60% off what I had previously seen on travel sites) and decided to upgrade my stay from where I had previously booked in town.

Overall our stay was very pleasant. The resort is very nice and the staff extremely friendly. Our room (down by the beach) was nicely appointed and definitely felt luxurious for Boracay. There was a lively walk-in shower, a huge balcony with seating, and a comfortable mattress with very soft bedding.

The resort provides chauffeur driven golf carts for visitors to move around its massive grounds which is nice. They are always available. There is also an hourly shuttle most of the day to and from town which always had space on it for us when we wanted to take it. The drive is only a short 5-6 minutes to D’Mall.

Breakfast (buffet) was included in our room rate. Overall it was quite good. There’s a mixture of Filipino and western food options. In regards to our general dining experience at the resort, it was fine but nothing special. Food and drinks are priced high (due to it being a resort), delivery is sometimes slow, and they were often out of food or drink selections. But what we did get was good. And service is always excellent.

My only real complaint about the resort is the beach club experience. Unfortunately there are no lounge chairs or any other seating on the beach itself at the resort. Only poolside seating. I believe they do provide beach mats if you would like them. However, for a 5 star beachfront property, we really hoped for and would’ve liked beach seating. As a result we ended up leaving the resort during many of our days there and going to other beach clubs (at the Movenpick and Crimson resorts).

Finally, the grounds of the resort are meticulously manicured and very secure. We never felt unsafe. In order to get onto the resort grounds from either the road or beach you must pass by a hotel employee who verifies that you are a guest at the property.

Overall our stay at the Auhana was very good. I would certainly stay at the resort again if I came across another excellent deal like the one that I had found.
