A group of 6 of us stayed here for 2 weeks for a friend's 60th birthday.
Positives - The hotel is in a great location as you walk straight out onto the beach, and you are close to some great bars and restaurants. The staff were polite and attentive and would do their best to answer any queries.
The air conditioning was dated however it did work well.
The staff would always provide extra bottled water and loo rolls when asked.
Negatives - This hotel must have been fabulous in its hey day. However, now it needs some attention as looking dated and in need of a lot of work.
There is no rooftop bar. The decking around the pool area moved under foot and had some cracked boards. The wood trim around the hot tub was cracked and missing in places. Also, there was only one jet working.
It was limited as to what they had on their menu, so even though we booked breakfast most days, we went out to eat it.
They ran out of bottled beer and advised us we could go and buy our own and bring it in to drink.
The rooms were clean, though a little cramped.
The bar, we were told, closed promptly at 22.00hrs every night.

Overall, it was the location that made this a good place to stay as the promotion photos were obviously taken when it was in a better state of repair and do not show the hotel in its true form.

I wasn’t expecting a lot because I know that this an old resort. I chose the hotel mainly because of the location. Lately, I’ve been staying at station 3 because it is less crowded.

What I like:
Cheaper - this is an affordbale alternative if you want a beachfront resort.
Location - Again very close to the beach and is less crowded.
Room - surprisingly i liked the room, not very spacious but with two beds and can accommodate 2-3 people. Love that they have many mirrors in the room, including full size one. Love the bathroom with a bathtub. AC was old but working just fine.
Swimming pool - they have one that is safe for kids and separate one for adults. They are small and not very well maintained but still something to enjoy.

What I don’t like:
Old and not well maintained - Facade and front desk do not offer a very welcoming vibe because its old-looking as well as the rest of the property. Not aesthetic and IG worthy.
Location - While its beachfront and less crowded, its a bit far from the famous restaurants and bars. They also dont have direct access to the road, so a bit of challenge carrying your luggages.
Beach Towel - you can only request once a day. With other hotels, there is no such limit.
Security deposit - For an old hotel, they still require this. Could be a challenge if you are short in cash.

Overall, I still enjoyed my 4-day stay here. Will recommend to anyone with a tight-budget after giving my honest review based on my experience.

I have been to Boracay several times over the past few years, and I have heard/seen Crown Regency properties in the Island. I Always have the perception of it being fancy and with good reputation. And this trip, I finally decided to give it a try and stay coming from a 1 night stay in Fairways. First, ETrike driver got confused and dropped me off in a closed crown regency property and said its the only one operating (although hotel is not at fault on this). After several minutes of walk, finally found the property along the white beach strip on station 3.

Welcome was not as warm. Im not sure, felt like staff a little disconnected. Regular transactional check in process, keys given without advising me of the resort facilities or breakfast timings.

I am not even sure if the pool is open.

Hallways feel was not inviting and gave me a cold and sad vibes. Room was spacious enough, with balcony with a sad view of closed and empty building. Room needs a little refresh. Felt like being transported back to the 90s. No bidet in the bathroom/toilet.

I asked couple of times some info about the area, and both staff were unsure and was not convincing and confident with their answers.

The saving grace for me was the location which is easy access to the ever beautiful white beach. The breakfast experience was great with the only very pleasant staff I encountered during my stay was the lady assisting for breakfast (sorry was not able to get her name). She was very lively and much friendlier.

I had to cancel my 2nd night and moved to another property because of lack of engagement and as well as property felt like it was not in a good mood and vibe generally.

Overall, it was just an OK stay as I was out most of the time enjoying the white beach.

This was the most disgusting and worn down ‘4 star hotel’ I have ever been to. I have seen motels with cleaner facilities.
• Firstly, there was blood on our bed sheets and pillows, although minor, it was not clean
• There was dust everywhere and the floors weren’t cleaned
• Even when we requested new bed sheets, there was still blood on the new bedsheets
• Tv did not work
• The phone service in the room did not work
• Most of the drawers/cabinets were chipped or broken
• Buffet was gross and we ended up eating in other places for breakfast
• Our key card for our door didn’t work, so they had to give us a physical key
• Our door was jammed often so we had to push with a lot of force to get into our room

I booked and paid for my October stay in February, carefully researching and booking a beachfront property with sea view and a pool. We were really looking forward to our stay, and were returning customers having stayed in July.

The day before my booking, I received an email saying I had to cancel the booking because the hotel was no longer bookable on Expedia. This several days past the no-refund deadline and days after Expedia sent me a reminder of my booking.

So you would think the hotel would do something to make things right for me, wouldn't you? Maybe offer to keep my booked room at the same price or at a discount given the inconvenience and the lack of loyalty benefits.

Well you would be wrong. I spoke to head office in Cebu, end result "It's cancelled, deal with it, maybe book at the front counter." Cost me several stressful hours to arrange new accommodation (Expedia were very helpful but were obviously also caught off guard by this).

Absolutely disgusted with this rabble, they have no idea how to treat customers. Stay away.

Place needs some renovation but overall I had a nice time. Mr. Mike was very help regarding setting up a romantic dinner and staff Alona was super helpful and has a lot of energy and always have a smile on her face.

All I can say is that the staff was AMAZING AND CHEERFUL, they just need to maintain the hotel and make it more lively. Pool jets wasn't even turned on and even the pool lights are turned off even at night.

Food is good but can be better, I'll definitely stay again and hopefully Mr. Mike, Alona and the lobby staff are still there to welcome us.

5 stars due to staff and location

I arrive at the hotel around 12noon from the previous hotel in newcoast and yes i was able to check in right away despite the standard check-in is 2pm thats to their friendly Front Desk Associate who assisted me. I book a maybe deluxe room and i got 1 double bed and 1 single bed. I was able to take a quick dip to their pool but i can't stay too long because its very cold and the wind blowing strong.

The only good thing during our whole stay was their employees — they were polite and accommodating (at least the people in their Boracay property, it’s a different story if we’re gonna talk about the people from their HQ in Cebu — they don’t exude good customer service) . That’s it. The hotel/property, amenities were a let down, was a total rip-off!

Nice location as mentioned, but some renovation is necessary.
Breakfast had not much selection.
The suite was quite dark with definitely not a nice view when looking out of the window.
The selection at the Bar, which is quite a favorable location had not the normal drinks you would expect.
