My children had a great time and I'd like to give a special shout out to Mr. Kikz Patricio and the the front desk for their assistance in securing a room for my family of 4. Their location is really by the beach and it was quite serene inside the compound even though we were in station 3. Tbe restaurant had a nice vibe to it with live music being played daily.

Very good food and service, staff are friendly and good vibes, the decorations are great for pictures too. Situated on the beach front, has good access to the water, and has a great view of the sea. Beautiful place to eat when the sunset is out, family friendly too. 10/10

This resort has a prime location on White Beach. Rooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff is incredibly helpful. It is well managed.
Additional bonus is a great swimming pool and a good restaurant.

Home away from home! If you want a place that is close to nature, Casa Pilar is a place to go. The great ambiance makes us feel relaxed all throughout our stay. They do have approachable employees also.

Watch your vallet. They charge you for everything at this establishment. Even pool-towels. And Internet, that does'nt work.
Ugly rooms with discusting bathrooms. Noisy aircondition and slow but friendly service.
It might be better at other rooms, but you can get better rooms for the price we paid, anywhere in the world. This is a no go hotel.

Family with 4 kids and a friend, we rent 4 rooms from December 26th to January 1st. On arrival everything was fine. Booked individual transfer from Kalibo airport was fine. We arrived late night, our rooms (214 to 217) were fine, clean, in the recent aisle on the 2nd floor, despite maybe the lack of a balcony... On the next day we discovered the hotel: next to the beach, a beautiful garden, nice big pool. This was for the good side!
The bad side: the staff put aircon at 16 degrees all day in all the rooms, for one room, no way to find the remote control over the stay... our friend had to do some gym every night to switch it off. Avoid please the restaurant ! On average it took us 45 mn to get our breakfast every morning! We found some plastic stickers cooked within the pancakes on one morning. The first day we went there for lunch...bad idea... one hour to get a vague idea of a hamburger, in fact a thin piece of meat within 2 pieces of toasted bread (the one they serve for breakfast)... Bathrooms were clean, however you don't spent hours in it since it doesn't provide hot water. 2 times only for 5 mn each over the all stay, after heavy claims at the front desk...the should spent less money on aircon and invest more on hot water... last but not least, for our way back, the hotel switched our individual transfer to a normal one, keeping the same price of course...it was a bad discovery at 5 am on January 1st. In synthesis: very bad return for the price we spent, very poor hotel management, the staff is not even friendly. Despite the hotel, our stay overall was nice.

Stayed here for ~6 nights in October 2012. Pretty good location of the resort itself. It was a slight walk to our room since we were at the back of the resort. For the price, the room was good. The room was cleaned very well, including sand, every day. Bathroom was kind of lame with poor water pressure but hot water worked. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was good.

This resort at station 3 is a very well positioned resort. We stayed there Holy Week 2012, which was the "Super Peak" Season. Station 1 and Station 2 were packed... specially during the nights.. Too crowded to get any leisure from what was supposedly a "leisurely stroll". We travelled as family.. and to say that it irritates me to see that so many people trying to cramp up to stations 1 and 2 .
But our stay with Casa Pilar was different. At night you can still sleep because there is virtually no noise.. and if it so happened that you really want to stroll down the beachwalk towards station 2 or 3.. it was no problem.. because it is the first resort at the boundary of station 2 and 3. The area on which Casa Pilar stands on is right by Yellow Cab Pizza.. and near Andok's if you don't want to eat at the overpriced "seafood" diners that litter station 2.
We had a guide during our stay of 4 nights and 5 days.. Mr. Hondry Montoya who was really helpful in getting the best deals for activities like scuba dives, helmet dives, and the island hop. He even accompanied us to the market near the highway where we bought our seafood lunch of snappers, squids, and fruits.. which we took to PUCA beach.

Anyways.. if you are going to Boracay.. check out this hotel. The rooms are decent for sleeping at night.. the breakfast included is great.. and they have beach chairs! which is a very big plus if you want to enjoy and soak of the sun the entire day. The best thing of it all, aside from its location.. is the price... dirt cheap! compared to the other hotels that people usually go to.

Bottom line, you can't go wrong with this hotel! and you can;t go wrong with our guide as well.. Hondry Montoya!! Casa Pilar is th bomb!
