This is not a resort, but a number of condos sold to owners and some used as hotel accommodation. Old furniture in apartments, but very large balconies overlooking the sea. Very nice eco surroundings but only one central pool. No hot tubs or pools in the apartments. There is no beach!!! The website is deceiving. F&B services are very poor. The staff makes efforts but needs substantial training. Leaving the resort the surroundings are dirty. Everyday, masses of Chinese day trippers occupy the resort for a daily payment. The end of my vacation!
Unless you are an Olympic athlete you will not be able to walk in the resort.Built on a mountain, the inclines are between 50% - 60%.Definetely not for handicapped or impaired visitors. The website is misleading in that there are hardly any services. The staff is very friendly, but untrained. Because of lack of tourists, they sell pool use daily to hoards of Chinese and Korean day trip visitors for US$50.00, per day access charge. They will swarm the pool, screaming, noisy and using the facilities as though they own it. They leave all their rubbish behind. That is the end of the residents enjoyment. The resort sold some apartments and use others for guests like me.There is no real management. Contrary too their web site, they do not have; Buffet breakfast. A beach, other than in low tide, a few people could walk not more than 30 meters on sand and that’s it as far as beach is concerned. The Business. center does not exist except for the name on the door, it is a store room without computers. Please think twice when booking here at over US$315.00 per night !!!! There are better priced resort on the beach in Boracay.…
This hotel is amazing with beautiful views - it's a little far from the bustle of White Beach, but is beautiful. The suites are perfect for families. It's been a while since I've been there (a number of years - unfortunately TripAdvisor only allows ratings for about a year back). Still highly recommended having stayed at numerous 5 star hotels.
I visited Monaco Suites de Boracay with my family on March. All of family members were satisfied. It's located somewhat far from main street and the opposite side of the White beach. but the ocean's also peaceful. less people and calm. If you wanna rest, it would be good choice. and breakfast. omelet was so good. pool was deep. I'm 168cm and It was near my chest and neck. well, air conditioner wasn't good enough. It was old-fashioned. weak. but it doesn't matter at night. breath was fresh because of beach. staffs were calm and nice. overall, we were satisfied.
Firstly I chose to stay in Monaco Suites de Boracay because of it is not far from the center of Boracay, D’mall and White Beach where you can enjoy great choice of food, shopping of local items and all kind of water entertainment activities, and the hotel also provide free shuttle bus every hour to go there. It is more than my expectation as the front beach is so beautiful with natural caves, rocky peaks, transparent blueish water. It is also great to take the whole view of the sparkling hotel from the beach. We book the suite with 2 bed room, it is quite spacious, clean and well-equipped. We love the hotel and will book it when we visit Boracay again!
Our visit to Monaco Suites was amazing and surreal. The property is very well landscaped with infinity pool of good size. The property has a feeling as if you own the place and would love to live all your life. Definite visit.
Stayed here instead of the main Boracay beach & loved it as we were far way from the noise & people. Beautiful location with stunning views. The rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable. The staff were also very accommodating :)
Very nice hotel with beautiful view. The staff was super friendly. House keeping was excellent. Kitchen staff was very friendly. I came from Mongolia, and stayed with my two grandchildren and nanny for a long stay. The staff made me feel like home. Special thanks to Меrriam Saldivia (front office) who was very accommodating and super nice. Thank you all for making my vacation very pleasant.
The proeprty itself is in a rather remote part of Boracay. we stayed at the Royal Suite - the most expensive suite but unfortunately things were quite run down. In the master suite, the shower drainage was blocked, hot water did not run out after - person had a shower, tv remote werent working... seems really like it had been a long time since any guest had been there. Overall, staff did their best to help the breakfast choice was bit limited and the airport transfer was ridiculously expensive for 4 ppl at php6000! Overall reasonable stay as it keeps you away from the very busy main beach but was NOT good value for money.
The staff seemed to be trying too hard (in the beginning anyway) the guy who welcomed us sounded so rehearsed that it was uncomfortable. The room was lovely, we only stayed one night but it seemed to have everything you would need. The pool was one depth and I couldn't stand up in it so it was either swim, hold on to the side or drown. Not good for kids as there is no childrens pool either. We had a little rain during our stay and the floors around the bar area outside were lethal. The beach is non-existant and dirty The worst part of our stay was upon check out, we were told a buggy would pick us up at our villa, they didn't turn up so we dragged our suitcases down to the buggy area where we were told there was no buggy ordered for us, I called reception and they said the buggy was there, the guy at the buggy station shooed us away to look after guests arriving, and ignored us. We waited a while longer and approached him again, all he did was talk over us and say there was no buggy ordered. We wouldn't have minded so much but we had told them we had a trip booked and needed to leave... he then told us that reception had to send someone to check our room before we could go, fair enough, but why did reception claim the buggy was there waiting for us? We ended up being 20 minutes late for our booked trip. The views were pretty stunning, the hotel was very clean but all in all not real value for money. We will be visiting Boracay again but not this hotel, we had two nights in Fairways for the price of one night here, food was better, pools were gorgeous and it had a lovely beach.…
