The concept is clear with Urban Boutique Hotel. Its look conveys design, urban, hipster, curated and quality. Its interiors and overall feel serve as a retreat within the neighborhood where it is located - Sitio Bolabog area in Boracay Island. Urban Boutique Hotel is decked in black and earthy tones, with accents of dark grey, wood, bamboo and glass - a stark contrast to all the hotels we have been seeing in Boracay. The concept behind the hotel is definitely unique with its evident desire to separate itself from the cookie-cutter list of accommodations on the island. The team behind Zuzuni Boutique Hotel in Station 1 followed its first venture with this new 14-room hotel in Bolabog area which marries all the qualities of a boutique hotel and a bed and breakfast. The hotel has single to quardo type rooms. And no, they do not have bunk beds here. Rooms for sharing come with single beds - which go back to the brand’s aim of conveying a boutique and quality experience.

1. We stored our bags for a bit since we got there quite early. 2. Just a few mins walk from Station 2- residential area but safe at night to walk 3. Comfy bed! We stayed at 4 different hotels during my last trip to Boracay. They got duvet while other hotels don’t have. 4. Ac was working well! Love it! It was so cold in my room. 5. Food is delish! We ordered twice- afternoon snack and bfast.. Both were good.. 6. Just need to check the wifi 7. Love that they have dogs lounging around the restaurant 😊 8. Seems a bit strict on visitor- showed the room to my friend who currently works at another hotel and they asked what time the visitor plans to leave something like that- just have an id prepared if u have a visitor Worth staying!

We stayed at Urban for three weeks and would highly recommend this hotel. It's different to many other hotels on Boracay in that it's got a funky, urban (clue in the name!) decor with concrete floors, lots of wood, etc. It's spotlessly clean (they wash the actual pillows regularly) and the bedding is whiter than white. The staff are absolutely amazing, super friendly, bending over backwards to help. The hotel is in a great location, sandwiched between two beaches and gives easy access to the rest of the island. We are sure you'll enjoy your stay as much as we did.

The hotel itself is okay, staff is very nice but construction works are going on 9n the street. They are working during the night as well. Yesterday from 1.00 am (!) to 8.00am. It was terrible. Now its 10.00 pm and they started again. Very noisy. You could not relax or sleep. Don't book if you want to have a quite hotel!!! Absolutely nogo!!!!!

We stayed for 4 nights absolutely loved. Such a good location. Free breakfast and so many options to choose from it’s like being at an actual cafe. Very friendly and helpful staff when it was pouring with rain they came out and offered their umbrella.

-This is a lovely little hotel, clean rooms, fabulous breakfast and the staff are lovely.... BUT The hotel SHOULD NOT BE OPEN to the public at the moment. The ongoing work outside the hotel makes it inaccessible. One day after returning from the beach we had to climb UNDER a digger to get into the door way. There is a big excavation hole right outside the door way, unsafe if you are travelling back on an evening as there is no lighting on the street! If you are going to Boracay our advise is stay on the beach if you can afford it! This hotel was not worth the price we paid -No fridge in room -No water in the rooms only at the water machine on the ground floor

Ok before anyone says anything, 3.75 is pretty high in my books as I normally don't score more than 4.5 at most. While I did enjoy our stay, I was barely in the hotel but when it was it was totally cozy. Here are some pros and cons for everyone: Pros - Great rate especially for 4 pax - Breakfast is nice even though it wasn't a buffet which is my usual preference - Cozy room despite being very bare - Awesome and friendly staff - Bathroom is a step above the other places I stayed in for the same price - Hot water works well and electricity is constant - A lot of small stores located around for easy snacks and drinks - Station 1 and D'mall is walkable - Breakfast is available until 11 AM which is great! Cons - Location is a little deep inside Station 1 and difficult to walk to especially if it rains - No phone in the room - No food or drinks after dinner - Internet is a little slow, barely working in fact - No complimentary water bottles (although there is a water dispenser available so that is something) - Limited spots to place your wet clothes but you can ask housekeeping to dry it for you - No pool, which is rather a hassle since my son loves pools despite being near the beach - Zero view Overall I would totally stay there again, it's simple and no frills, but for some reason, it is totally a chill and quiet place, it makes me feel like I don't want to leave the room anymore. I would recommend this to friends or small families as well.

My fiancé booked this hotel for my first Boracay vacation. The hotel staff gladly accepted her request for an anniversary set up (with no additional cost!) The staff was always accommodating and friendly. Thank you!
