Detailed Reviews
Everything was so smooth, from the time we landed at the Airport, we really felt taken care of by the staff of Boracay Sands Hotel. Everything was perfect, the location was nice, the amenities were on spot, and of course, the service was so good. Everyone in the hotel really were attentive to our needs. They always gave the best possible solution for our concerns in which made our stay extra special. They even greeted and sang a birthday song to my daughter who was celebrating her birthday. Everything exceeded our expectation! Kudos to Hotel Manager Carlo Borlongan, Kuya Lhoy, and the rest of the team. Job well done!

Our stay on the Island of Boracay was made more special by the warmth and hospitality of the staff and their Manager Carlo. Jha and the front office team were also very accommodating and cheerful!
Very comfy and the room is well-cleaned. The location is perfect for those who are seeking a more relaxing vibe away from too much crowd. As this is located on the beachfront it is also a great place to see the sunset.
We have also tried their sandstorm massage and it was very soothing and relaxing,
The breakfast buffet is something to look forward to :)
This is highly recommended! Congratulation to the team.

We came back to Boracay for the first time in fifteen years and had a fantastic experience. The island, itself, has gotten more developed and much too congested for our liking. There were large hotels, restaurants playing music entirely too loud and even a small mall. However, the Sands Hotel made us feel like we guests had the island all to ourselves. It is a quaint, family-friendly hotel with a stunning view, incredibly hospitable and attentive staff and all the amenities of a larger hotel. I had a different massage every day in its spa and got pampered with a poolside manicure and pedicure! I simply cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was in spite of all the hustle and bustle outside from the other hotels.
I would be remiss if I didn’t commend the new manager, Carlo. My husband and I have traveled the world and have been to countless hotels yet never have we met a manager whose sole purpose in his job is to be an experience maker. Carlo’s passion was clearly to give his guests a wonderful experience to last a lifetime. He genuinely solicited feedback from his guests to ensure their satisfaction. It was not a matter of formality, he actually acted immediately on the input whether it was a small menu change or a larger matter of service such as arranging door to door transportation back to the airport. We absolutely will stay at the Sands Hotel the next time we come to the island. Thank you, Carlo, for being an excellent experience maker!

I booked a room in this hotel and I came back home with hundreds of bites of bed bugs... Terrible experience! Then I showed my bites at the reception and they gave me another room. I asked refund but they refused to do it... I m really shocked because they are going to continue to rent this room... The room is 116 if you want to enjoy ur holydays don't take this room because ur holydays will become a nightmare😱

Absolutely amazing! We spent 15 days travelling the Philippines, staying at 5 hotels along the way. Boracay was our last stop and basically flipped a coin over staying at either Crystal Henann Sands and Discovery Sands. We landed on Crystal Henann however the day of checkout our flight was cancelled so we moved to Discovery Sands for two days until our revised departure. These two Hotels are not even remotely close in terms of standard so do not be fooled by the similarity of online ratings. Discovery is head and shoulders above and their attention to detail and level of service would challenge the highest possible standard around the world. The staff actually made us feel like we were the only ones staying there and all in such a sincere and caring manner. The ambience and energy of the hotel setting makes you feel like you were actually on a holiday and is only a short stroll away from the somewhat chaotic beach retail strip. If I could score our experience out of 10 it would 11.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Boracay Sands Hotel. We booked one of the few sea view rooms with balcony and it was so worth it. The staff were always friendly and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The bed was big and very comfortable and we slept like the dead every night. There is a spa linked to the hotel, which offers amazing massages at very affordable prices. We loved walking out of the hotel and straight into the ocean for a swim in the warm ocean waters. The only negatives would have been that our one balcony door couldn't open and that after room service had been there, the floor was generally still a bit sandy. We would however definitely go back!

This is a nice quality hotel, I liked the quality of the room and it was a pleasant stay here.
The restaurant let it down for me though as the breakfast was focused on Filipino tastes and had very little else if you didnt like the traditional Filipino breakfast.
Overal the hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are very polite and helpful.

We visited Boracay during Typhoon season and Boracay Sands was the accommodation. The hotel provided free airport transfers. The package includes meals for the whole stay. Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner are almost the same for the three-day stay. The room is good for the three, but not extraordinary. Leakages in the lobby and entrance area are apparent.
