I booked thru booking.com. There’s a conflict between piccolo hotel and booking.com rules. In booking.com it says breakfast included. But when we get there they say, kids are not included for free breakfast. So we paid extra for the kids breakfast. They say its in their hotel rule. As i checked it is included but u cannot see it on booking.com rule. The waiter made an error on our breakfast order and they charge us extra order. The waiter insisted that he got the orders right. Obviously we contest and told them to check their cctv. We didn’t pay that extra order and the manager looked so pissed with us as if we were lying. We left the hotel without anyone from the them sending us off and thanking us for staying at their hotel. Hahaha. I won’t recommend it to my friends if ever they will plan to go to bora.

Today we left Boracay with a not-so-happy experience. We checked in here and enjoyed the stay until we check out this morning. My friend and I shared a room. Please note that we didn't check the bed for any stains cause this is our first time traveling and we don't know that we need to check for things like that. We didn't get a henna tattoo and our hair is both rebonded without color. When they were checking the room they told us that there is a stain on the linen and said that it was either from henna or hair color which we don't have. Just to cut this story short they told us that will try to put some chemicals on it and check if the stain will be removed but it didn't. I actually saw that stain minutes before we checked out and I notice that it is an old stain. They charge us 1220 and gave us a discount of 200 --with the situation of our country right now 1000 pesos is a big amount of Money. The stay was actually good, bartenders and other staff is friendly but this event really pissed the sh*t out of me. STOP THAT SCAM! WHAT IF THE PERSON IS ON A TIGHT BUDGET?

Pros 1. Housekeeping 5/5 - Clean rooms, and public areas (lobby, hallways, pools, dining, etc) 2. Breakfast 5/5 -Good selection & portion of food 3. Staff 4/5 -- Friendly, approachable, and helpful —Miss Ara from reception delivered superb customer service. She was very kind and accommodating to all of our needs. —Nightshift security guard was always welcoming, and helpful, attends to guests needs and requests. Cons: 1. Poor management 1/5 -One of the female assistant managers (who also manages Creyo) was very rude and impolite. We had an incident where my young nephew had mistaken OFF lotion for sunscreen and applies it on his face. He immediately had a severe allergic reaction and developed red, swollen, itchy rashes all over his face. We gave him antihistamine and rinsed his face with cool water (all emergency measures taken). My cousin went to ask the PM security guard for some ice to help soothe the rash, and he went to consult the assistant manager. Just moments after, we heard the assistant manager made a snide comment while passing by the hall “Hindi naman talaga nilalagay ang OFF lotion sa mukha!” (Nonverbatim) -The assistant manager’s behavior was very unprofessional. This shows how they talk about their guests behind their backs, instead of showing care and checking up on how the child was doing. Also, this was an emergency situation that shouldn’t be mentioned out loud in public/in the hallway. She also did not offer any help or apologize. The security guard was quick to offer assistance and give us an icepack. -Another incident about guest confidentiality and privacy was when a friend dropped by and asked if we were staying at this hotel. We had no prior contact with this friend. The friend only showed photos from Facebook as “proof” that she knew us. The staff allowed the friend to obtain our room # and go up into the room without asking permission from us. The staff did not call us or confirm whether we knew this person first before letting them up in our room. This is a huge safety issue because the staff shouldn’t be allowed to disclose guest info to other people (friends/strangers etc.)

The hotel is walking distance from the beach and also near the DMall and restaurants. They have their own restaurant and free breakfast was included with your booking. The coffee included with breakfast was refillable. They have two small pools inside and I was impressed with the feet washing area at the entrance. The only thing I don’t with my room was the messy bathroom. Messy because the water from the shower was sipping through outside.

This is our first time to try the said hotel. Check-in was fast. Room was decent - space was ok, balcony is spacious, Cr was ok (except it smelled weird at times), breakfast has quite a number of options. The only problem we had was mosquitos in the room. I think this has been a problem already since they have an insect killing lamp inside. However, I still have so many mosquito bites all over my body and up until now, it is itchy and caused hypersensitivity. I hope they fumigate the whole hotel to minimize this problem.

We will never ever come back to this hotel. 1) Reception asked for early checkin fee. We declined giving it as it’s almost 2pm. At 2:10 PM, rooms were still not ready. Why ask for early check-in fee? 2) Towels and bottled water were not replenished. I called the reception I was told there’s no more bottled water and if I can wait for tomorrow morning. 3) During breakfast a lot of guest were complaining because the service was very slow. One guest became rude and I totally understand because there was no customer service at all. 4) The manager did not come out when we complained about why the room was still not ready. According to the staff the manager doesn’t know either. ?_? Maybe she’s the owner as clearly she doesn’t deserve to be a the hotel manager. 5) Overrated and overpriced restaurant menu. We were not asking or demanding anything. A simple apology would be enough but instead they just ignored us and the manager was just hiding behind the desk looking at us. Not a good place to stay. 100%

It was my father’s delayed birthday celebration(Covid, travel restrictions, etc) and we were happy to pick this affordable place to stay (we had 4 rooms for the whole family). The check in was fast(we complied with all the requirements prior to travel) and rooms were prepaid. The place looks updated with good rooms and showers. Location (station 2)is a short walk thru an alley to get to the beach(they should put better lights in the area). This spot is perfect to get around the restaurants, souvenir shops, D’mall and all the conveniences you desire in a tourist stay. The staffs are pleasant and overall we liked the experience. I definitely would recommend this hotel to those looking for an affordable place at Stn 2 Boracay. 1. Location- 4 2. Price-4 (Breakfast option was ok enough) 3. Customer service-4.5 4. Cleanliness and comfort-4.5 5. Food -4

STAFF (Mr. Vergel, Mr. Melvin, Miss Rizza, Chef Edmond, and SG Alutayan). They took great care of me for my entire stay in Station 2--accommodating and hospitable folks! LOCATION. The hotel is reasonably located around 200m-250m from the beach front, around 2-3 minutes of walking which will warm you up for an awesome time at the beach! It also has basic establishments nearby--*DMall, restaurants and snack places, MiniStop, and even a laundry shop. COST. My stay here in Piccolo Hotel has been amazing with a great emphasis on the reasonable rates they have provided to me, not to mention the service they have extended to me from check in to check out (transfer booking, etc). Will absolutely stay again in Piccolo Hotel of Boracay!
