The Shore Time is a quaint hotel in Station 1 of Boracy. Upon first glance, it might seem fairly unimpressive. The street around the hotel is busy and underdeveloped, with construction happening. The outside sidewalk area is not great and you need to cross the street and through a restaurant to get to the beach. Those are the negatives, but the positives far outweigh them. The room is fairly quiet and very clean. The rooms are not huge, but adequately sized with a comfortable bed and bathroom area. The staff are very accommodating and quick to help guests. The beach area that's minutes away is stunning with fine, powder-like sand. It' relatively quiet and clean. There are not vendors harassing and trying to sell things to you, except an occasional boat ride. The water is clear and you can wade out very far without it getting deep. The hotel is very reasonably priced and there are many nearby restaurants and a coffee shop that's attached to the hotel. The breakfast offered is made to order with many options as well. Other than the town infrastructure that's in process, the only thing I'd recommend is improving the atmosphere of the area just in front of the restaurant of the hotel. If they keep the music softer and put some comfortable deck chairs with umbrellas for guests, it would be great. I know the space they can do this is limited by the authorities, but some improvements could be made to make it more comfortable. They also offer beach towels free of charge and a shuttle to the port for transport across to the mainland (they do charge for the shuttle). Laundry is available for very reasonable cost as well and they include a safe for valuables. The room air conditioning works well. I would stay here again.…
Shoretime hotel’s beachfront rooms are truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend getting the rooms facing the beach (only have 3 rooms) From walking along station 1 and 2- shoretime beach front rooms has a picturesque view of the white sand beach morning and night. The view is beautiful and breathtaking—but the sounds of the waves hitting the shore line is sometimes you have to experience for yourself. The hospitality of all the staffs is a trait that can’t be replicated anywhere else. Boracay is on phases 2 construction and the hotel happens to be in the section of construction. Give it a couple of months and roads would be good as the station 2-3 with sidewalks for people to walk on. However, you can walk along the beach for now! It’s a lot better than the sidewalks and only 5-10 minutes to D-mall. Shoretime hotel is truly a Gem!…
When we disembarked from our transpo in front of the hotel, I was disappointed about the dusty road, due to ongoing rehabilitation works, where the hotel was located. Upon check-in at the front desk, each of us, there were twelve in the group, were given delicious and cold welcome tea and cold face towel, which were just fitting for the hot and dusty atmosphere outside. The staff, all of them, including the guard were wonderfully courteous and provided service with a smile. My family, four adults and one child, stayed in a room which was really clean and had a balcony facing the beach just across the street which could have been perfect were it not dusty outside. But the attitude of the staff, the amenities and the proximity to the beach all made up for the negative external ambiance. The guard even helped everybody cross the street and this is noteworthy. Our stay was just perfect.…
We stayed here for a week in March and the family absolutely loved it. The rooms were really nice and clean. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The beach was just across the road and in general it was a lovely stay.
Second time to stay at Shore Time and it’s still a good one. The staff are helpful and the place is clean. The guard would always assist us in crossing the road even if it was easy to do alone. The staff at the front desk are also very accommodating and helpful. I think the reason I’m not giving a perfect score is the price point is expensive for the kind of room. The room is tight and basic. There wasn’t much space to move in. It was still a great experience overall.
