We chose this place counting on our luck, and oh boy, how lucky we were. The place was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were cozy, friendly staff and ideal location for couples who would love to prefer quietness over everything else. Would highly recommend for owners to get back up generator coz power outage happens unexpectedly during our stay there. All in all, the unit exceeded our expectations.

Pro tip: Find a place with a generator, brown-outs happen a few times a week. Its not that this place was really bad, just a lot of compounding issues made it a bad experience. Out of a 30 hour stay, we had power maybe 10, with multiple brown outs. We could not sleep due to the heat. We had asked for rice porridge or hot water as we were sick, for breakfast that morning, but the inn rep said the place was unable to accommodate us and told us to walk to the market at 3 AM. We skipped the breakfast and ended up leaving a day early despite them charging us for 2 days. Getting there is another issue as the small road is only usable by trikes, and the trikes don't use it due to the ongoing construction. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean yet simple. The location is very close to white beach, just a 1-3 minute walk to the beach. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is clean. Definitely a good value hotel.

We arrived in shock to this place, the staff accepted us with bottle of water and a big smile on their faces. We felt like we were at home! We are on our honey moon and the staff always helpful and trying their best to make us feel comfortable. One day my wife got sick and they tried their best to help us! Very recommended!!! It is close to the Beach and to all the restaurants at station 3. We loved been here!

Island Jewel is a short walk to Station 3 on White Beach. It is very clean and very acceptable size wise. The room has air con, had a small ref and a safe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to replace the small crt tv with a wall hung lcd. The internet connection is quite fast.

It is just 50m up the path from the beach to Island Jewel Inn. No beach view, no pool and nothing special. But it is clean, friendly, safe and should be at a good price. I had a Deluxe Room (I think that is what they call it), with a fridge, small sofa, coffee table and the bathroom off the room. Aircon is the "box in the wall" and did the job, the fridge was cold, the shower had good pressure and the bed was comfy. Boracay has some brown-outs, so a few times the power went out, so this is not their fault. The tv is a tiny size and at the far corner from the bed. While the rooms are not really showing their age too much, the aircon and tv could be better. Breakfast was included. Was probably average, at best - there is no option, you get a one egg omelette, toast, fruit…

My husband and I stayed in Island Jewel Inn this February and we loved it! This small family hotel is located at the end of Station 3 in 30 seconds walk from the amazing White beach. The location is quite, yet close to all things you'll need. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They were very glad to help us with our several personal issues. Thank you Vanessa and Brian for your assistance! The rooms are simple but nice. The only thing that I'd recommend to change is air conditioners - they are pretty old and a bit noisy. However it doesn't really bother you when you are having a great time on this fabulous island. This hotel definitely has a very good value for money. We've enjoyed our stay there. Tip: pre-book your transfer from/to the airport via the hotel.

A little inn located at the edge of section 3, just a minute walk to the beach. We opted for the fan room, and had no regrets as you can feel the sea breeze brushing through, perfect for afternoon naps, just leave the door slightly ajar. Breakfast was a selection of either pancakes or toast with eggs. It was rather unfortunate that there was no electricity throughout the island on our last night, but was no buggy as the stars were just lovely to watch in pitch dark. Would surely comeback!

Island Jewel Inn is definitely great value for your money if you're travelling on a budged and prefer clean, quiet rooms just a short walk from the beach! The staff is kind and very helpful. They arranged the transportations from Caticlan airport to Jewel Inn and back to Kalibo airport. Breakfast was very basic but tasty with coffee/tea, juice, toast, jam, butter, scrambled egg and fruit. Room was rather small, but had shelves to put your stuff on. Room had a minibar and a small TV. Bathroom was tidy and had a hot shower. Rooms were cleaned daily. Me and my friend enjoyed our stay at Island Jewel Inn and would recommend the place for other budged-travellers!

Island Jewel is located at the south part of Station 3.There is little activity further south. All the bars and restaurants gradually increase as you head north to Station 2. It is about 60m from the beach via a small lane . The landmark for the lane from the beach is Treehouse Bar, which has excellent acoustic music at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cool, quiet and clean. There are a lot of shelves to spread out your gear so it does not feel cramped. Nice little balconies to relax on. No sea views but views over the hill .Breakfast is very basic-coffee, juice, toast and mango.This place is cheap and what you save here you can allow you to spend more on tours, restaurants etc.Overall an excellent affordable base.
