We checked in a few days ago and I’d say that it was a pleasant stay despite the bad weather. The staff were friendly/accommodating and they’ve responded to our needs immediately. As for the breakfast, food selection was good, and so does its taste. The room space was big enough for the three of us and I love that the shower has a working heating system. They also have some umbrellas that you can borrow in case you need one.

This place is located along the main road and is just 2-3min walk from the beach! There are also a lot of food places, bank, mini store, and wellness services nearby. Great place to stay if you’re on a budget!

Room is bigger than their other hotels in the Hotel 101 chain. The room is well located in the ground floor, exactly what I asked for. The beach is truly 2 minutes away and their a convenience store nearby for those who want to buy food without having to break the bank. And speaking of banks, there are 2 banks with ATM machines just across the hotel. Breakfast is not buffet but it is just right and quite delicious. Wi-fi is fast enough for my online meetings. Daryl, the front office guy, has been very helpful to us. You should all come to Jin Jiang Inn when you want to stay in Boracay.

Very satisfied stay.
Hotel is close to the beach, area is very central. The hotel is at the back side but only a few steps away from the beach

Rooms are big and comfortable, aircon is cooling well. The room had a huge vanity area, closet and bathroom.

Staff were very nice! Thank you Ms Che, Nazelle, Darylle and Michelle.

Breakfast is simple but delicious!!! Corned beef tastes so good. We enjoyed our short stay here and will choose this again once we visit Boracay.

I am now enjoying my holidays here in Boracay, and staying again in Milflores. This time around, I am with family and we booked 4 rooms out of the 9 rooms that Milflores has. Our stay here is from December 26 to 29. We have to check out on the 29th even though we booked our rooms last June (almost 6 months ago) because another group already booked even AHEAD OF US for the 29th onwards! I read here some negative reviews about booking issues. My word of advise: IF you seriously plan to check in here at Milflores, DO NOT dilly dally and pre pay your target dates at the AGREED price. The price will only be guaranteed when you confirm and send (at least) your downpayment. They only have 9 rooms, and at the prices they offer, they easily are booked. So if you are unable to get the room and the price that you want because it took you time to decide, then you can only blame yourself for losing out the best deal on the island. That's what I did when I was informed by the manager a day after I inquired about December 26-29 that someone else was also asking for rooms within those dates!

The place looks a little worn though since the last time I checked in, but not really much to be concerned about (some parts need some repainting, but not really that obvious). The beds are still the same, great queen size beds with comforters, the showers are still the oversized shower curtain types, and they still offer those very nice soap bars. They conveniently provided outside each room some monobloc chairs and a movable accessory where you can hang your wet clothes. (This wasn't available the last time I was here). Compared to the last time I reviewed Milflores, I noticed their service is now even better, but maybe because they have several years of experience up their sleeves. Service is great, from the guards, the breakfast at the multi purpose room (I don't know what else to call that room where you check in and check out, breakfast, TV room, coffee/tea room, and what else you want to do there).

The hotel staff can assist you with booking your recreational activities. We coursed our helmet diving, jetski, paraw, and flyfish with them. Its a good thing we did because out of the 10 people I paid for the helmet diving, only 7 went into the water. By the time we returned to the beach, the water sports beach station's staff was not around anymore. I informed the hotel staff about it and they called them up to get a refund (less a no show penalty though), which is better than than nothing. But the big thing here is that I didnt have to go back to the beach to look for them and plead my case. We didn't push through with our banana boat reservation because our arms were tired!

I heard from the manager that they have plans to start to fix up the rooms sometime mid next year. Imagine this: they easily gets filled up now, what more when they start fixing up? So much more y'all should stop thinking and confirm your reservations ASAP or else don't cry over spilled milk that you spilled yourself.

When: January 1 to 5.
We booked 2 rooms for a 5 adults + 1 infant family.

Rooms: Huge! Definitely big enough for 4 people (not like some hotels where they claim to fit 4 adults when what they really meant was 4 children). Has 2 very comfortable queen size beds with matching fluffy duvets. Airconditioning may be a bit cold but could easily be remedied with a few temperature and swing direction adjustments using the remote. Windows/Door have black-out shades to ensure you of a goodnight sleep (it also muffles the sound of tricycles passing by). Drinking water is also provided, as well as DVDs and books that guests could browse through.

Restroom: Great! It was very clean! Plumbing and water pressure is good too. They provide organic body and hair soaps that are very high in quality (not like your typical glycerine hotel soaps). My husband complained that the water didn't heat up as much though (but he's the type who showers in scalding hot water).

Staff: VERY FRIENDLY and EFFICIENT! They were always smiling, willing to help with anything and everything (regardless if it was 12 noon or 12 midnight!). The (shy) owner even introduced himself to us and gave us dried mangoes! Also, since I asked for boiling water for my baby's bath water during our first day of stay (she's a fickle creature - throws a tantrum if the water is not at 97 degrees Fahrenheit) , they've always brought boiling water up to our room without us asking for it! That's what I call initiative!

Other pluses: Fresh towels are provided daily. Rooms are always clean after coming home from a trip to the beach. You can leave your baby's stroller with them and not worry about carrying it up to your room. They help you remove sand from your stroller when you checkout. They have low rates (at least 50% off) for any beach activity (island hopping, helmet diving, etc.). There are only 9 rooms so the staff are surely attentive and the experience is never far away from the coziness of being at home. They have drying racks outside every room and retractable clothes line in the restroom. Each room have comfy bean bags too! Full Breakfast (breakfast+coffee/tea+fruit dessert) is inclusive with the low rates. Location is perfect - in the middle of tranquil station 1 and lively station 2, easy to get to and from on a tricycle. Also, have I already mentioned that their staff members are amazing?

Possible cons: Water doesn't heat to a scalding level (so no super hot baths for the extremists out there). There were ants on my bedside table (but none in the other room - must be due to the food i left there). No beach view from the room (but who wants to stay in their room in the first place? best way to see the beach is to be on the beach!). Their credit card terminal wasn't working when I checked out (sayang ang points, haha). The sound of tricycles passing by can be heard when the door is open (so, keep the door closed!). Milflores has yet to open a paypal account or something where future guests can use their credit cards to reserve rooms (making a deposit at Metrobank was such a hassle).

Overall, I would stay here again! I even plan to book all 9 rooms for an event this year! It's just too amazing! You're paying 2300-4800 pesos for a 9000 pesos experience (comparing to the amount I paid for a beach-front crappy room that I got from a different hotel the same time last year)!

The great reviews say it all! I recently got married in Boracay and me, my husband and our guests stayed in Milflores from June 1-11. We were so tired and frustrated at our delayed flights, but as soon as we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with genuine welcome and immediately we felt at home. The location was amazing, almost directly at the back of White Beach Station 1 (where the sand is best). The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and clean. The toilets and shower areas were modern and I absolutely loved the big sinks! The service was definitely one of a kind, it toppled the experience I've had with the other 5 star hotel in the area. With only a handful of rooms (I think 9 rooms in total), they give a very personal service. They helped us with our airport transfers even when it was short notice, first aid disasters, lend us beach towels for free, etc. Compared to the 5 star hotel we stayed at in Station 1 where our iPad and my purse were stolen, Milflores, I can say is a very secure hotel. None of us lost anything while we were there and we got on very well with the friendly staff and security guards.

Victor Ortega Salon is situated right in front of Milflores, which was heaven-sent! We love their 300pesos 1-hr full body massages esp after our banana boat-riding, atv adventures, swimming, partying and cliff diving! Not to mention de-stressing the day before the wedding!

We are already planning for our reunion next year and it wont be the same if we didn't go back to Milflores...

On a budget and you want to go to Boracay? I will suggest Milflores. Located on Station 1 and near the border of Station 2. Its not beach front but its only a short walk to the beach. Stayed there last October with 2 companions. We payed 2,900/night for a room that could fit 4 persons. Room and beds are very spacious. Even the bathroom was neat and spacious. The room comes with a TV, aircon, closets, cabinets, towels and basic toiletries. Overall we were comfortable during our 4 night stay in this hotel.
Cons: There are certain things we hope the owners would take note of to be able to maintain place. We noticed that the floor in the room seem to be deteriorating. The aircon didn't function well during our stay and it was noisy. The bathroom tiles and marble also seem to be deteriorating but don't get me wrong cause the bathroom was always cleaned. Also we had a hard time locking our room from the outside. Those are just minor stuff but i still think they are important to be able to maintain the whole hotel.
Having said those observations, i would still stay in Milflores all because of the friendly and efficient staff who made us feel at home. They were all very accommodating. From the time i booked up to the time we left we were happy with their service. To add to that...The location, the spacious room, the comfy bed and the neat bathroom are also reasons for us to go back to Milflores. Btw, the place is secure cause they have a guard for 24 hours and they close the gate at night which for me is a plus.

i don't normally give reviews but because of our excellent stay...just have to give one... :) we stayed in Milflores from april 15-18 2012 and we were never disappointed in those days. the staff made our stay extra special. they were so accommodating and friendly...even their manager made an effort to have a conversation with us. It's not beachfront but its just a minute walk... It's facing the street so you might hear some noise but for us, its not a problem at all. It's in station 1 so perfect location, it's besides Astoria Hotel... I uploaded some pictures from our room (rm 204) so i'll let the pics speak for themselves... :) Ofcourse, you can't beat the room rates! for P 2,600/night or more or less US50 you get free breakfast for 2, free wifi in ur room, fresh beach towels, tv w/ dvd player, ample books, some dvds/cds (you can bring ur own dvds) organic soap and shampoo and priceless memories...thank you Milflores! will be back for sure...
