I took my son to this resort for a 3 day getaway and his bday bash after christmas and it was awesome. Me and my son enjoyed the stay. The room was nice, clean and comfy, overlooking view of the ocean is a good one. My son likes the place as it has playground for kids. Very child friendly resort. We hope to get back to this place again soon! ☺️
Really friendly staff Lovely pool, beachview Very quiet hotel But close to town and easy to get transport Helpful staff and good with booking tours Restaurant could use some work. Alot of dishes not available and cocktails cant be made unless bartender is at work.
Four of us stayed for 2 weeks on Bohol Island. Bohol is beautiful and has some lovely hotels. This place which we stayed for two night though. Omg. What a disappointment. After 10mins of checking in I asked if it was possible to cancel our booking and was told that it wasn’t. Our rooms were like prison cells. 1 window and delapodated. I couldn’t understand as we paid £102 per room per night and in the Philippines you generally get a good hotel for the price. The photos looked so great on the website but it was clear that they were fake on arrival. The beach is not really a beach. It’s dirty and small and had a sewage pipe from the hotel pouring into where we were supposed to swim. The amenities are numerous but all very disappointing. Old and not well maintained. This hotel taught me a good lesson. Make sure you do your research. I can only conclude that the tripadvisor ratings are fake and a team is paid to write good reviews. I did like the manager though. Although we were on first name terms as we had to complain so much he took it well and was generally friendly. All in all this hotel is exceptionally poor value for money. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.…
Its a nice place. Peaceful and quiet with a beachfront. But the rooms are not so nice. We did a bit late booking and i guess it was agoda that pump the price that much?? Our room was ok and the toilet was awful. Smells like roaches. They have rules of no outside food. So u either have to eat out or make do with the food in restaurant. The restaurant is nice tho. Nice pinakbet!
The resort itself was abolutely beautiful. The views were very good. The beach? Well not so good. They built a retaining wall between the water and the beach so the tide will not come in at high tide which meant that you needed to climb a couple of steps (stairs) to get to the water. The resort was clean and the service was very good. My daughter decided to sleep in one day and I asked if I can bring her breakfast from the buffet as this was included in our stay. No we could not. They do not have room service.
My company and I chose Flushing Meadows in Bohol as our this year’s annual updating convention. I have nothing evil to say about this place because it offered a very relaxing ambiance to rest, making me easier to participate in our meeting without the stress. In fact, I almost forgot home because of this indescribable relaxing beauty of the resort! In fact, after each meeting I would take a swim in its swimming pool, or snorkel a little bit in the beach to unwind a bit. Snorkelling in its beach is most recommended because it is teeming with a lot of fish and live corals. In fact, I even met Nemo there (hehehe). Anyway, aside from snorkelling, this resort offers island-hopping arrangements so your stay or vacation will be fruitful. The rates may be high but the beauty of the beach and relaxing ambiance are GREAT - really worth your summer investment 👍…
I stayed there for 3 nights with my wife and a few friends. The hotel has a tennis theme therefore the name. It’s a normal 3Star hotel with the comfort of a 3Star hotel. The rooms are ok only the poor maintenance of the bathrooms is a big turn off. It seems they don’t clean the shower tab and the bathroom sink and tab. Based on the costs per night the hotel would only get two points but the good service and the tasty food needs to be mentioned positively. There is a park for children with dinosaurs sculptures. The pool is quite nice. There is no real beach, only a protected area with some sand. The natural beach is full of stones. So if you like nice beaches this hotel is not for you. If you want to go to other restaurants you need to take a taxi and drive around 15-20 minutes. The area around the hotel is very quiet. I felt very secure there because the gates are constantly closed and armed guards patrolling around the hotel.…
You know when something is off when you first step in a resort? This one got us feeling we should leave the next day. Reception: Friendly but first thing he ask? Can we have your creditcard for payment? Gosh, don',t you ask your guests first how they are? Rooms: It smells old like its never occupied. There were even Cockroaches roaming around. Room Service: We ask for an extra bedsheet because it was very hot in the night. First call, no one came to deliver the request. After 5 hours we call again, this time she told us they will charge us Php500 for an extra bedsheet. Wow! Now, I know why it didnt make it in the first call. Place: Very far from the main street. You,ve got to hire a tricycle when you want to get out of the resort. Transfer from the Resort is very expensive. Breakfast: Except for the fresh Fruits, foods were almost the same and cold!! Beach: A small area for swimming and not much to see. All in all, its not worth the visit. The owner/manager sits in the corner and doesnt even greet their guests. One was a show off who has a typical mentally of someone who doesnt have an iota of idea what customer service is!…
We stayed here at Flushing Meadows Bohol this past February. We are a family of 6 adults. We got three superior pool view rooms in the Arthur Ashe suites area which is facing the pool. Room was a great location as you are mere steps from the pool and onsite restaurant and very convenient to the beach. They have a small private beach on site. The beach is just ok this is why I’ve rated it 4 stars instead of 5. The beach is a bit small and not as picturesque as other beaches in the island; although it remains shallow depth even a bit from shore. They also offer Massage and spa service beachfront. Beach is good enough, not fantastic. The resort rates includes water activity such as paddle boarding and kayak. They have a restaurant on site which serves a decent breakfast buffet. They serve the usual western and Filipino selections. Room rates include airport transport and breakfast buffet daily. The room at Arthur Ashe suites is large. We were in room 402. It was great - very roomy, large bathroom, private patio and cold a/c. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. Hotel grounds and common areas were very clean and inviting. We used the pool much more than the beach. We do recommend it. There are nicer beaches about 10 min tricycle ride away. The resort grounds do have many stairs and steps which may pose an issue or concern if one has limited mobility. Not an issue for our group. The resort is on Panglao Island about 25 or so min from Tagbilaran airport. Very tranquil place and we were very relaxed. …
I traveled with my family and an infant and stayed for 3 nights. The lobby and the overall hotel look and ambiance is very nice, however the rooms itself were a bit old style but clean. The outside though looks modern and nice. The food was good as well however there were several dishes that are not available (mostly steaks). Breakfast options were not much but they were very good for our taste. The service is really great, helpful people! One of tours required us to leave the resort by 6am and breakfast buffet isn't open yet. So we requested if we can have breakfast earlier, so the restaurant opened at 5:30. We also had to leave the resort at 4:30 in the morning to catch our very early flight, so we asked if we could get takeaway sandwiches. The lobby said they couldn't because it was too early. However, at the end they surprised as with very good tasting breakfast. I really admire them for that. The only thing we can complain about the staff is the slow moving check-out system. This is not even the payment, this is to check the rooms. But that's okay, we got compensated with the breakfast.…
