We arrived on Bohol on Good Friday in the afternoon, and there were no buses or taxis running. As we already had booked the acccommodation, we were in a bit of bother. We ended up renting a motorbike and drove to the resort (80km) while the celebrations stopped us many times with all our luggage. It was a bit tricky especially after it was dark but we arrived safe and sound. The place was beautiful laid out in a garden with a view over the ocean. Was nice and quiet as well. We loved our bungalow and extended our stay from 2 to 3 nights. Breakfast and dinner were good and we love to come back. If you don’t like the isolation then this might not be for you but we loved it.

Lahoy Bohol Dive Resort is a special place: you are feeling like in paradise!! We stayed there for six days and especially enjoyed the big garden - where you can relax, rest in a hammock, do Yoga, hear the birds singing, play Ukulele and come to yourself. When you just walk a few steps down you can jump from a cliff into the sea or you easily walk into the water and start snorkeling by yourself. There is a private platform, where you can enjoy the sound of the ocean and get a sunbath by day, watching the stars at night. All staffmembers (Leya the owner, Wena, Jubert, Angel,...) looks after you the best and even if you need help with your ferry Tickets Wena is standing with you in line and wait for hours with you together. We always got a free ride to Anda or Jagna, because the staff arrenged it for us. There is nothing to complain about our stay. The staff fulfilled us every single wish. All rooms where daily, perfect cleaned and breakfast/dinnertime was very delicious. Also singing together at Christmaseve was very nice. I can highly recommend to go and stay at this beautifulplace, we already miss it.

We recently stayed 3 nights at Bohol Lahoy Dive Resort and had an amazing time! The grounds are so beautiful and green, the whole place is very peaceful. We did some dives with Hampi which were amazing and the sites are all really close to the resort. The resort will lend you all of the snorkelling gear for free which we really appreciated, so you can go and explore the house reef which is amazing with so much coral and just in front of the property. The food is really good and all the staff are so attentive and friendly. There isn't a beach as such so if that's what your looking for then this might not be the right place for you, but if you like diving and snorkelling then this is an amazing place to stay. Our room was simple but clean and comfy and great value for the price we paid.

Rooms are good value, well maintained and clean, hot water and fridge even in the fan rooms. The bigger rooms have a nice balcony with sea view. No beach but easy access to good snorkeling. Daniela, Hampi and the staff are friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the food.

It was perfect! The last two months my friends and I traveled around Asia and saw a lot of resorts. This one was definitely one of the best we saw in this time periode. Daniela and Hanpi (the owners) and the rest of the crew were so kind and we felt very welcomed. We spent there two nights and it was amazing: - breakfast + dinner delicious - room very clean - ocean view - at the Resort no beach BUT perfect for snorkling: colorful, beautiful fishes and corals - you get the equipment for snorkling for free - you also can dive here If you are looking for a place to relax and to enjoy every second you have to stay here for a couple of days. The whole crew will help you to realize this feeling. We wished we had more days left for this place. Thank you Daniela, Hanpi and the rest of the crew for our three days. It was awesome!

Some say when you go to Bohol you have to stay on Panglao, Alona Beach. Well... Been there, done that. Won't do it again. This European run, small resort on the Anda side of Bohol is a place I'd pick any day over Panglao. It's small, but very spacious, and right at the ocean front. The room I stayed in was as well spacious, and clean, with private bathroom (hot & cold shower), with fan. But even in the hot season that's enough. There's a small SSI dive shop on location, professionally run by one of the managers. We brought our own equipment, but their rental equipment looked solid and well maintained (they have JetFins as rental equipment, really!!). Dive boat is a big, comfortable boat, and they take you out to one of the better walls around Bohol. I thought it better than Balicasag (but I realize that's personal). Lunch and coffee on the boat, with a good chat among divers. Super relaxed atmosphere. Management and staff are super friendly and very helpful. Oh, and... yacuzi, anyone? That's a comfort after the dives! Warmly recommended. Much better than the madness of Alona Beach.

My stay in the Philippines will be memorable having a beautiful cottage with a sea view. This is a wonderful place to stay if you wish a quiet, natural, healing environment. Swimming is more enjoyable if you prefer deep water over shallow beaches. You will get personalized attention from owners Daniele and Hampi. The restaurant serves delicious food and coffee that can be difficult to find in some villages.

We found this resort by coincidence because we needed a place to sleep. The Swiss owners are kind and friendly. We stayed 2 nights in a beautiful room with view over the sea. Down the resort are some rocks where you can go perfectly snorkelling. The resort is not the cheapest but definitely not expensive. The quiet surroundings and scenery are priceless. If we again need a place to stay in this Bohol area we surely come back here.

So first impression is to walk in to a giant bungalow. We arrived in the rain so Hampi and Daniele (owners) welcomed us with a banana smoothie in the restaurant area. From start they were very caring and welcoming and sat down to chat with us and see to it that we felt well at ease. Note the rain gave up we were given a short tour to our bungalow room. The hospitality went on like this and you always felt welcome to sit down and chat about everything and nothing. It is a small but nice resort built around a beautiful well maintained garden that includes sun chairs and a hot tub. Since the resort is built on a cliff it is a stair down to the ocean. There is no real beach but there is a nice pier you can relax on and you can always snorkel out to the nice house reef. The room are spacious and fells fresh. Toilets are well cleaned and shower is equipped with warm water heater. Food is very good and the staff went over and beyond to cater for us that are vegetarian. The diving operation is wonderful and I ended up taking my SSI Stress and rescue course here with a wonderful instructor. (Thnx friend) The only negative thing that I can say is that the bed was uncomfortable. We addressed this to the owners and they arranged some extra madrases that helped a bit, but it was still a bit hard for the back.

The couple Daniele and Hampi, the Austrian/Swiss owners, welcomed us warmly. Immediately we felt us like at home. Often they sat with us at their relaxing restaurant/bar and we had lovely conversations. Especially their travel tipps for the Philippines were very helpful and saved us a lot of searching. The Bohol Lahoy Resort is located in a very green scenery on a cliff. Altough it hasn't a beach we still could pleasently relax in the garden. Our room was spacious and well furnished. The big wall behind the bed is decorated with a beautiful painting. We enjoyed the big veranda with sea sight.  The only drawback of this lovely resort is far distance to Anda, but luckily one evening Daniele and Hampi took us for dinner to the nice White Beach. We would love to come back to this chilled out place again.
