Finally a place where they know how to use spices. Very tasty Thai food. Friendly staff. Directly on the beach (also a hotel) The only negative were the bands, playing in the restaurants to the right and left.

This is a restaurant review. Ridiculously Overpriced drinks, no wonder the bar was always empty. Food was so so. Staff was polite and accommodating. Manager was walking around like a hawk all the time watching and unfriendly. Didn't really enjoy the vibe of the place. The band was ok.

We stayed here for 3 times already and we really love this place. The rooms are very nice,we had 20% discount last time because we stayed here for 3 nights. The staffs are nice. They're not so friendly but they are okay. The pancit and pizza here are really good. The location is perfect. It's very fun and relaxing.

Stayed here in early January of 2016, for 3 nights. For $52 a night you get workers with no personality, no smiles and zero professionalism, the room was about 14 sqm, dark and plain old creepy. The bed was a foam on wood with wooden legs, hot water was good. The aircon was so weak it had a hard time blowing air, the ceiling fan was so slow i saw mosquitos taking a rest on the blades. the safe was big enough for your wallet. I don't recommend this place to Hawaii people, there are a few other resorts next to this place but will cost a few scripts more. The WiFi only works where they check you in. About the beach, the sand was ok but the water is not swimmable, to shallow with grass growing. Overall Alona beach is overrated, nothing to brag about also can not compare to

Took a while to notice that the entrance is only reachable by foot carrying all your baggage through the beach side but there are people at the resort happy to get your stuff and bring it to the room. Not accessible by car. Once arrived we got the best room facing the sea with balcony. Couldn't get much better. Staff was super friendly and the beach a step away. All was good. There is a safety box in the room also. I would definitely recommend this. also the price was good compared to others at the beach.

My stay at Hayahay Resort was one of kind. I commend their service. Staffs are very accommodating, friendly and approachable. Room amenities are also good. I would recommend this place to my fellow travelers who want a good place to spend their vacation in Bohol.

What we like most about Hayahay - the location is beachfront in the busiest part of Panglao (Alona beach) making it very accessible to all fun and activity places in the island, yet the quiet & fully-equipped room enabled us to have a good restful sleep at night. The room seems to have a special sound insulation installed because inside it's very quiet. We also tried the seafood at their resto and they were fresh and yummy! Thanks, Hayahay, we enjoyed our stay. :)

For a 2 star hotel this is a great place to stay. Our rooms were simple yet clean. The beds are firm which I prefer. The food was great compared to a lot of the restaurants on the beach. The waitstaff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is right on the beach which doesn't get any better. It's walking distance to different type of amenities.
