Pickup: I had arranged days in advance, with clearly worded confirmation from the resort, that my SO and I would be picked up at the pier at 7:50am upon ferry arrival, to be given the day tour of Bohol before being taken to the resort. However, upon arriving, no one was waiting. Upon calling the resort, it appears that the staff failed to communicate to the outside driver to actually pick us up. It took 45 minutes to rectify this mistake which wasn't exactly a good first impression. Check-in: Decent, but a bit cumbersome when you have to take your baggage up and down a ramp, or wait for a staff member to do so. Our driver did it for us and we tipped him appropriately. No elevator is available, but that's par for the course being a beachfront resort. Room: Air conditioning

This place is quite good folks, the only reason I dont give them a 4 star rating is this: - Shower lacks water pressure - Staff at restaurant dont handle critique very well - Restaurant serves red wine chilled - Bar and restaurant closes a little too early (10 pm) On the upside you get: + Good location + Friendly reception + Very quiet A/C + Pretty OK internet + Affordable prices on rooms

If you love beach and if you can compromise other things then this hotel is a really good deal hotel. Hotel is right in front of beach which was the best thing. Hotel has a pretty decent restaurant. Rooms size was good pretty decent. Staffs were okay. Once again the only best thing about this hotel is that it is near beach. Sadly, they didn't have breakfast included so we never had breakfast. Unlike other hotels this hotel staff had only 3 sun-beds without any umbrella. The hotel has key system and I haven't used key in a while and it was really trick door to open and guess what I broke the key and they charged be 200 peso. To be honest, it was not my fault they should have told me how to open and close. Overall, beach was near so I was happy with hotel but the service was

I made contact with Adventure Travel Philippines, and asked for a warm not so busy tourist spot in the Philippines, and they recommended to me Panglao Island, was great we arrived in Manila stayed 2 nights in The Bay View Park Hotel, great Hotel and the staff and management made our stay there very welcoming and friendly, after touring around the two cities Manila and Makati, we jumped on our plane which was pre organised within our package and flew to Cebu, had two wonderful days there staying in the Montebello Villa Hotel and the highlight was the tour of the city wow so much history filled in the whole day, next was and exciting trip with Super Cat 2go, we arrived at Bohol and was transferred to our hotel in Alona Beach, wow how interesting the driver carried out suitcases

We stayed at Hayahay Resort for 3 nights. The room we got was spacious and clean- though we did have a visit from two cockroaches. There is hot water in shower. The Resort is located on top of the resturant which has the same name. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had any questions. Alona Beach is only a 10 min. walk from one end to the other, and HayaHay is located in the middle. Hayahay is in the "busy" part of Alona Beach. Everything is within walking distance. Great place if you are here for a couple of days.

Hotel is right on the beach front so it is super convenient for food & getting around. Rooms are okay, oldish furniture but complete. Bathroom & towels are newer. Our room was on level 3 which is same level as the kitchen exhaust which makes a smokey & smelly walk-way. (Cannot smell in the room though). Noise from the next door music can be bothersome if you are an early sleeper.

This small hotel (it can't in all honesty claim the title resort) is located on Alona Beach. You literally walk of its reception onto the beach. (There are no cars or parking in the area, so only foot traffic past this hotel). The room we stayed in was clean with excellent air conditioning and wifi. A bonus was that we could not hear any noise from the busy beachfront while in the room (we stayed in room 9, which is the second last room from the front of the establishment). There is a restaurant on the ground floor that serves a wide selection of food. The Thai food is particularly good. Some of the tables are on the beach. The prices appeared similar to other restaurants along Alona beach, but you can find cheaper restaurants of the same quality. The staff were always

Booking is a breeze. Booked through Traveloka but every inquiry I sent directly to the resort via email were answered right away. Location: Beachfront, easily accessible from the main road. A few minutes walk on the beach with your luggage won't hurt. If you wanna take a dil, the resort is a few steps away from a swimming area where boats are not parked. The swimming area in front of Hennan. Restaurant: They have their own restaurant downstairs. They have great pizza! There are also restaurants nearby for other choices. Got room 5. Non smoking room with 1 big bed. I think twas 2 beds set up closely together. Mattress was hard but we did not mind. There was a note in the room that they can change the mattress if it was too hard for guest. 2 pillows, a blanket and a

From the Moment I arrived to the Day I left I was Treated like Family. This hotel was very nice and worth the price. When we got there we had to carry are luggage across the beach to the hotel, that part I did not like. The hotel has a cart that can carry the luggage, I would suggest someone stand by the bags, while the other person goes to the hotel to get someone to come get the bags. The hotel room was a very comfortable size, showers can get as warm as you like. I regret that I only booked for a day, if you want to be beach side, I would suggest just book the room for as long as you would like to stay at the beach. Next to the beach, if you like staying out late and partying, around 11 there is nothing going on. Staff are ok because everytime i needed something they

The bed is super HARD. The aircon is not working upon arrival. I asked to be transferred to a different room but they said they are fully booked. I stayed in room 11 by the way. They tried to fix the aircon and it only got better a few hours before we checked out. I was literalky sweating while sleeping, thats how bas it was. And the worst is that, the bed has 2 throwpillows which smelled like dried saliva! Obviously they dont change it everytime a guest check out which they should right? I asked to change it which they did but still. Seriously???
