Badjao Inn is conveniently located as it is near to the airport and a walking distance to the Provincial capitol. we were able to check in at Badjao Inn even without reservation. the staff is okay and the room is very spartan. all in all its a good place if you are in a tight budget and only if you want to be in a convenient place.

The Badjao Inn is a great place to stay. We stayed in both the standard (P850) and deluxe (P950) rooms. Honestly, for the price difference, there's not much separating the two, apart from slightly nicer decor in the deluxe room. My advice would be to book a room at the back of the property. The right-hand-side wing of the property shares a wall with a busy outdoor restaurant, so you may want some quiet at the back. The rooms have ensuite, hot water, TV, comfortable beds and AC. There is also an internet cafe (P25/hour) in the lobby, which makes it very convenient. The location is great and close to the airport (3 mins by tricycle) and many upmarket restaurants. Having said this, we ate at Kahlui's (about 200m towards the airport) for P600 including alcohol and dessert. The little restaurant inside has a limited menu, but okay food. The gardens within the building are beautifully kept. This end of Rizal Avenue is very quiet, but still central to restaurants, shops and the main city centre. The rooms were clean (apart from a few MASSIVE cockroaches - these come from the gardens surrounding the rooms) and bathrooms were dated, but still comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

If you're looking for a place to stay which is reasonable, then I suggest the Badjao Inn. My Family stayed in their deluxe room which costs like 1500 per night inclusive of 2 extra beds. The place is very accessible to the city. You can just literally walk to their dining hot spots such as Ka Lui's and Kina Buch. The airport is just 10 min. drive from the hotel. As for the accomodations, their deluxe suite is not bad if you are the type who just wants to sleep in it. It includes a television set and mini bar. Their amenities are not bad it even has a internet cafe where you can surf in their desktops for just 25 bucks an hour. Personally if you're not the picky type and a cowboy traveller I totally recommend this hotel.

View was fantastic. I will suggest coming late afternoon before sunset to take full advantage of the stunning view. Service was excellent and food was great. If we ever make it back to the island, we will definitely go back. We highly recommend.

I was in this hotel because this is the meeting place to board MY Sakura to dive in Tubbataha National Park. Very near to the Puerto Princessa airport. Clean room, bathroom and toilet. Nothing fancy and with the budget price too. Some rooms with fan and some with air conditioning and hot water. But clean sheet. The restaurant also served nice foods.

To be honest we only stayed 1 hour in the room, i couldn't stand the idea of spending the night in this dirty place. It's true that when you arrive, the inside garden gives a good first impression. But it stops right here. The standard room we were given was dirty, the sheets were yellow (but were obviously white a long time ago) with stained. Same for the towels. The aircon stunk as soon as we turned it on. The room, in general, is spacious but really depressing in many ways.
I don't know why this place is in the Lonely Planet, i wouldn't recommand it at all. This is why we went to Aquari Travelers Suite, only 5 minutes away. Unfortunately they're not on Trip Advisor but for 1500p per night i recommand it without reservation.

The rooms are at a great price and the restaurant is cheap and serves great food. It has a great location for anyone just staying the night in Pureto. There aren't many frills to this place but for those intransit to another destination I can't think of a better place to stay with their free wifi and airport transportation service.

Spent a total of 3 nights at the Badjao. Great staff, great food, rooms clean and in good nick. My own personel complaint was the foam mattress and pillow were much too firm for my liking.

Many times I've been checked-in this hotel since 2011 and I always reserved the 2nd floor fan room. This hotel is 5 minutes travel by tricycle to Airport and you may walk in 10 minutes to the heart of Puerto Princesa City. The room was huge for 1 person as if its family room and the price is pretty good P450/night. The room was cleaned and big windows which good for ventilation.
The staff in the restaurant are attentive, helpful and polite. My favorite food was "beef stew in a thai chili sauce" and absolutely awesome.
The reception are informative and helpful.
Highly recommended and definitely I will come back.

"The road is quite noisy, so choose a room that isn't at the front of the property. The restaurant next door (turn left leaving Badjao Inn) is quite good."
