Literally a stone throw from the airport. Can walk down to the main strip and further down to the port. The staff were so nice. They sorted out our transfers and at the going rate. Jerick was super nice and even wrote out some localisms for us to use on our trip! Rooms were clean. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel too. We used this hotel for the reviews on the internet / WiFi as we were working while there. We could connect to our company servers and download/upload files quite quickly. Online calls needed the video turned off to help the connection. Download/Upload speeds 4.88/858 mbps. Overall very happy with our stay. We booked and paid the hotel in advance, however upon arrival the hotel said they didn’t have any available rooms. After an hour or so they finally provided us with an average alternative. They asked if we wanted the room, if so, they could fit the two beds together to make it a double. After accepting this offer, they told us they can’t move the beds. The room is okay and clean. The bathroom is one of the better ones we’ve seen on our trip. The wall behind the beds has a huge crack in it. When booking, we were promised a pool. However upon check-in we were informed that the pool is closed for some months due to renovations (right outside our room, work starting at 0730 in the mornings). I was deciding between this hotel and Hue hotel, however, looking at the pictures online, I decided to book here instead. On check in, I was really surprised that the pool was closed for renovation, I am not sure if there was an info or advise sent about the closure I could have cancelled my reservation as it was a big deciding factor. Kind of confused with the room condition, if the rugged, unkept and bit unsure if the room was cleaned properly part of its character. Several visible stains on the floor, amenity bottles and on the wall I'm not sure if it was meant to be that way. Plus side: Staff were generally friendly. It was more than 3 years ago since the last time I visited here and I could say that their staff, lobby interior almost did not chance as well as comfortable bed with fresh linens. Kudos for that! They even went beyond for having a surprise setup in our room (really appreciate it, thank you!) and a complimentary airport transfers. But even though it was in deed a very good stay, I will still recommend some improvement ;) 1. Please have the pool renovated (the pool was the main reason i booked for canvas 3 years ago, and to my surprise - it was really not in good status today. The place is so close to the airport and we were looking forward to our stay here before going back to Manila. So disappointed as the place looked unkempt and the pool looked like it hasn’t been maintained. Not sure if it was due to the pandemic. The room is spacious but it looked old. The signal is very poor. Our hotel in el nido had great connection and was wondering why this place in the city had the worst signal. Also, we were charged 150php for 2slices of ordinary bread. Told them it was too late for deliveries and my daughter only eats bread. Asked if they had bread on the menu that we could buy. They didn’t and just charged as 150php for the slices we asked. Almost the same price as their Puttanesca Pasta. The receptionist when we arrived wasn’t helpful at all. Said she…

My expectations were not met. I’m sure it was once a beautiful place, but It seemed like the hotel has not been maintained properly (maybe due to the pamdemic?). I had really looked forward to relaxing by the beautiful pool area that I’d seen on pictures, but as we arrived I saw the area was in decay. Not at all a place where I wanted to relax… The rooms were spacious and linens were clean, but there were stains of old cups of coffee on the table. Breakfast was ok.

We checked in a couple of hours before the devastating typhoon Odette hit Puerto Princesa. It was our literal shelter from the storm. The kindness and comfort we received was unforgettable. We felt safe and at home.

I echo the comments from other reviews. A very comfortable hotel close to everything. Large rooms with fridge, safe and AC, even larger bathroom. International style restaurants are within walking distance and others are only a 50 peso ride by tricycle. A laundry service is available opposite the hotel Tours can be booked at the front desk. The breakfast buffet was good if a little monotonous. The manager Mr Jesse quick dealt with a few small problems on arrival and was very helpful during our stay. Good value for money- recommended.

stayed in this hotel for three weeks, the room is super clean and cozy! I strongly suggest you order the pork sisig from chief BJ, the best pork sisig I have tried amount hundreds of restaurants in the Philippines.
