Great hotel. It was fantastic, the rooms are very huge and super comfortable. And the best part is the staff in the hotel. The customer service is beyond my expectation, super friendly and helpful. Good restaurant. And the food was also great. Over all! Im very satisfied! Keep up the good work.

The hotel is very chic with creative/artsy design. Very spacious room and has a comfortable bed. Just what you need after a hectic day. Near the airport hence no need to rush for your flight. Breakfast was terrific, just the right choices. The staff were polite and made sure we had a comfortable stay. I recommend this hotel when you travel to Puerto Princesa.

As a local doing hotel hopping, this hotel is one of the best. I stayed for 2 nights, breakfast was very nice. Loved the pancakes plus there's a lot of options for a person with food restrictions like me. People are friendly, from security to every staff especially their dog. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

This hotel is startigically located 5 minutes away, by car, to and from the airport and they arrange a free pick-up and drop off. Public transportation is also accessible outside the hotel and makes it easier for their guest to travel to nearby tourist spots, restaurants, malls and souvenir shops in the city center. Their room is very spacious and clean for a budget hotel. However, the towels that were given to us during check-in have stains even upon our make up room. The hotel is clean; in general, however the pool has lots of debris from the trees sorrounding it. It was there all the time. Their daily breakfast selection was nice and sumptuous for our whole stay. The wifi was strong and stable which is a plus point for people that needs to do some work. S-taffs were nice and accommodating but they somehow ruined our good impressions with this hotel. During our check-out, they charged us drinks that we didn't consumed. Initially, we paid via credit card what they have asked us to pay because we can't totally remember the whole charges. But upon checking out our pictures during that night, we had margarita and vodka 7 which was not similar to the bill they showed to us. We asked them to check their CCTV for assurance but they relied on the instinct of their F&B staff that was on duty that night. With all those hassles, we just agreed to settle to the total amount they told us and refunded the difference, in cash, because we needed to catch up our flight. Overall, I really hope they review and reorganizea bit. There were some lapses with the check-in process as they didn't collect any money deposit from us and they allowed room charges without it. Moreover, their team presented us unsigned bill with a lot of erasures which we can totally dispute if we are hookers but we are not. Then, there's a lack of communication in the FO team as a staff called us for a follow up on our check-out at 12nn even if I spoke and confirmed with one of their team members; before we had our breakfast, that they let us have a free late check-out at 1300H. Lastly, I caught a lady from F&B and a lady from Front Office who were talking and looking at us maliciously at the front desk while we are waiting for the lift.

Everything about Canvas Boutique Hotel is superb, highly recommendable, and worth writing about. From the moment we arrived at past 7pm to the moment we left 3 days later at around 1pm, I've always felt very much attentively cared for. We booked two rooms, one king room and one twin room through Trippy Travel Agency (I will have a separate review for the awesome experience with them). Here are the details of my review: First impression: The place is less than a five-minute drive from the airport, but somehow not noisy. The facade, even at night, was eye-catching. The driveway is well-lit and filled with well-maintained plants. As someone very "maselan" or picky with accommodation, I immediately felt comfortable with the modern tropical, artsy, and spacious lobby. I was afraid there'd be insects, but I saw none. Check in: Since we checked in way later than the usual time, I expected to be given whatever rooms were available. However, upon stating my name, two rooms beside each other were already reserved for our group. The check in process was quick and stress-free - something I truly appreciated after a long afternoon of traveling from Manila on a Palm Sunday. Ms. Dane and the other front desk staff greeted us with warmth. We were given welcome drinks. They asked for the usual ID, but no deposit was collected. It all took about 5 mins max. The Painted Table: Before going up to our room, we pre-ordered our dinner. It was served on time and everything was delicious! So delicious that whenever we were not out for our tour, we opted to dine-in. The price point was also fair. The selection for the breakfast buffet was not too wide, but just right for me. Tbh, I would've been contented with just their bread and brewed coffee! The level of service I've experienced here was incomparable to anywhere else. Not even the VIP lounge of my favorite 4-star hotel. To prove how sincere their service is, we were one of the few Filipino groups checked in and the majority of their guests were foreigners, but never once did any of the staff treated us differently from how they treated them. The rooms, the stay, and housekeeping: Oh how spacious the rooms were! I loved the layout of the rooms. I think everything was carefully thought of to function efficiently. The beds and pillows were comfy and the AC was super cold (they way I like it). Water takes a few minutes to heat up, but the pressure is satisfying. Bath mats and hand towels were missing when we arrived, but I called the front desk and they were immediately brought to our rooms. Making up the room is upon request, which they did mention upon check in, so no issues about that. Only my brother and his girlfriend used the pool. He said the pool was heated. The rest of us hung out at the poolside and ordered snacks from The Painted Table. Check out: Our tour coordinator said we'd be picked up at around 1:30 to 2, but check out is at 12nn. I requested for a late checkout for one of our rooms. I appreciated that they checked the availability which btw, led me to think their reservation system functions so well coz it was easily accessed by a newbie staff. Luckily one room was available. The rates are 500php for check out until 3pm and 1,500php for check out until 5pm. Beyond that, it'd be a full-day charge. Checking out was a breeze! I surrendered the keycard, paid the bills incurred from dining, waited a few minutes as they checked the room, and we're out. Ms. Dane was there, she sent us off. I was extremely reluctant to leave as I felt super at home for the 4D3N we stayed here. I told them verbatim, "I wanna take this hotel back to Manila! Ang sarap magstaycation here!" If I ever find myself in Puerto Princesa again, there's no doubt, I'd be booking my stay here.

Great place to stay close to the airport. Well located for other attractions too. The hotel has an individual, funky style. It has a great airy, lobby, a restaurant, bar on the ground level with an outside pool. All look really nicely designed. We were only staying for one night and arrived late and left early but the rooms were large, comfortable and spacious with two queen sized beds, individual artwork in the room and separate loo, shower and sink space. The room was well laid out and quiet, air conditioning was ok. We left really early for a red eye flight but the hotel were kind enough to box up a breakfast (banana bread was delicious). The hotel also offer a complimentary airport shuttle service, so this was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend.

It was our first stay in Puerto Princessa and it was good. The hotel is nice, clean and the staff and front desk is very accommodating. The place has swimming pool and breakfast which has a good variety of food. Very accessible to the centers of everything and airport, also they have free airport transfers. It was a 2 night stay only but we really find it comfortable and good stay. The famous Palawan Underground Subterranean River tour is also excellent and organized. Good job guys!!
