Rooms were big. Decor and amenities more than adequate. A quaint charming B&B located in the Bancao Bancao, the quiet side of PPC. Big swimming pool with piano keys design. Staff attentive and pleasant. Owner very gracious.

Even before the trip started, the owners went out of their way to visit our company located in Manila, that in itself is a testament to how they value getting to know their clientele so that they can provide excellent service. The proximity of the hotel to the airport is not too far away and the staff will even assist in helping you get access to transportation. As soon as we arrived in the hotel, we were greeted with warm welcomes and refreshing drinks. The initiative of the staff to provide us with towels when we were en-route destinations where you will get wet is also noteworthy. When you use their swimming pool, they are ready to serve drinking water and towels. As we had a Luau themed party, they went above and beyond my expectations by designing the place with appropriate decorations, complete with leis, fresh coconut juice, Macadamia chocolates, even a professional Hula dance performance. Merci beaucoup Enrico, Lito, and to the people of Paboreal!

This is a far away downtown place and good here with warmly service. And here's people are very nice and all customers are good. I met some guys from foreign countries and talk about something good and relax.

I chanced upon Paboreal Boutique Hotel while searching for a place to stay during my holiday in Palawan and decided to give it a go based on the numerous good reviews written.
Communication through email was smooth and my queries were replied promptly.
Upon our arrival at the airport, my friend and I were immediately picked up by Enrico and Vince and that marked the start of the hospitality that I graciously received for the next 4 days.
We were driven to the hotel in a private vehicle and the whole journey probably took less than 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel located along a quiet street in a residential area while still within a stone's throw away from the city center.
We were fortunate enough to be given a room on the second floor which offered a spectacular view of the swimming pool. The room was spacious, clean and had separate toilets and bathrooms. The hot water worked as expected and WiFi was available though the strength of the signal varied from time to time (not that it's a big issue).
Facilities aside, what I love about Paboreal is how welcoming and attentive the staff are. The team always attended to my requests with a smile no matter the time of the day and were always ready to assist me whether I needed food recommendations (Hibiscus Garden Inn for their Pizza and Captain Ribs for the Pork Ribs) or directions to a certain place.
The whole atmosphere there was very warm and friendly and the team definitely knows how to make you feel like part of their family. My only regret was not taking up Enrico's offer of a home-cooked dinner but I will definitely try it on my return trip!
If you are looking to be pampered in a tranquil retreat, I highly recommend you experience the hospitality of Paboreal for yourself!

I've never seen a hotel like this. It was quaint and all the staff were friendly. It was really a pleasant surprise for me to find such an adorable place near the city but not as noisy.
The owner was very nice and even gave us the exact directions going to the nearby beach. He even gave us a bottle of water each for free!
The pool was nice but a bit small. The room was big and had different doors for the toilet and shower, a brilliant idea especially for groups.

My family and i stayed here for three nights and it was an unforgettable experience. The check in was fast with brief orientation from the front desk. We booked the standard room as we were only 3 - me, my wife and my 1 yr old daughter, to our surprise the room is huge. It is clean and stylish. The bed is very comfortable, and we love the idea that the shower is separated from the toilet. The staff were impeccable, they were super friendly and helpful. They always smile. The front desk really helped with our tours and the best places to eat. Not to mention their own restaurant. They have really good pasta, but my favorite was adobo, its a killer, it was delicious. The place is very quiet as it is far enough to the noise of the city center but close enough if you want to visit. We would definitely stay again in this hotel. Thank you Paboreal for a very good stay.

I am a solo traveler, and from the minute I walked in the door I felt right at home! The owner greeted me right away and personally made sure that I was taken care of. He was so genuine and friendly, and as a person he has such a kind heart. Along with all the hotel staff, they did everything they could to ensure I had a wonderful stay, whether it was advice about a tour, smooth booking and payment, making up my room while I was out, and even waiting on me hand and foot at the restaurant. They were always smiling, and it wasn't just because it was their job. They are just happy people! The pumpkin soup was my favorite, you must to try it! I was seeking peace, serenity and quiet, and there wasn't anywhere else I would have rather stayed in Puerto Princessa.The room was nice and large, clean and always smelled lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The piano pool was the perfect touch, so much refreshing fun! There was absolutely nothing I could have asked for, other than staying longer! A real pleasure, and as an added bonus it's so close to the airport, I could have walked. I was sad to leave. Will be returning one day! Thank you Paboreal!

I have stayed at many hotels in my lifetime but never have I felt more at home and cared for than at Paboreal. The welcome at check in suggested personal attention beyond the norm and after four days here it has proven to be true and exceptional. Tour and transportation needs have been handled so well each day that it as if I had my own personal assistant. Dining suggestions followed with the hotel's ability to get reservations at one of the top restaurants in Puerto Princesa really elevated my food experience while here. The clean, contemporary room with a comfortable bed, a flat screen television and solid air conditioning has made my every day relaxing and restful. All this, combined with a super friendly and attentive staff, has made Paboreal a first-rate experience and my top hotel choice for a repeat visit to Puerto Princesa.

The staff has good attitude but lack experience. The location is in a dark alley and not easy to find. The pool looks better in photos. Breakfast is made to order but choices are limited and they charge extra if you ask for more fruit. The shampoo and soap looks moldy so did not use. Would not stay there again.
