Within moments of arriving we were pleasantly greeted by the staff and owner, they immediately sat us down at reception gave us a welcome drink and took our bags. Nothing was to much for the staff they recommended great restaurants and arranged the taxis for us. Bok was fantastic ! Breakfast was simple but delicious. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed. Cannot wait to go back!

After 200+ reviews and travelling on business every week, I have seen a lot of hotels. This new boutique hotel is up with the best. Spotless large room, queen bed, own porch, good shower, aircon and tv. Small but large enough pool, chairs, both in sun and in shade. Most helpful staff ever to organise tours, dinner or transport. They have their preferred driver, Ryan, great and very reliable. ok breakfast, we did not have other food. Situated 10 minutes from airport, outside the center, but only 50 peso (1€) away from the baywalk or good restaurants. Non smoking facility, free wifi, some days real good, some days not so good, but hey, this is the philippines. Dont look any further, book it!

This quaint little gem is a must for accommodations in Puerto Princesa. The hotel is managed by a lovely, caring and engaging couple. They take the time to talk to all their guests. The staff is very attentive and quick to respond to any request be it big or small (and we have two small children). The breakfasts were great, but I wish there was fresh fruit juice. The rooms and clean and well decorated. It is also in an ideal location given it's proximity to the airport. I love this place and we are definitely coming back next year to stay.

Staff is incredibly attentive and charming, very eager to please. Property is gorgeous- perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and cozy. Excellent location near beach and airport. It is so perfect it feels like a dream. Wish I could have stayed longer!

My friend and I stayed 2 nights in this Hotel. I somehow missed it was gay oriented hotel but even as a heterosexual I encountered no issues whatsoever, just missing female guests being around. It is a small resort with pool, check in/out hassle free. They organized for us trip to Sabang and also private transport to el Nido. Smoking just outside of hotel, breakfast small and basic, room huge, bed comfy, didn´t have a chance to take a dip in their pool. Location is somewhat awkward, there´s not too much around the resort and you should take a tricycle - very cheap though.

First, of all, the owner and staff at Paboreal are the nicest, most accommodating, and wonderful people you may ever have the pleasure of meeting. From the moment you walk into the door of the hotel (after them picking you up at the airport on time), you will feel like home. You are greeted with welcome drinks, given a tour, and checked in without a hick-up. The rooms are very large, super clean, and all equipped with a large balcony that looks at the awesome piano themed pool and courtyard. There is also STRONG wifi at Paboreal Hotel, an endless supply of hot water for comfortable showering, and many tv channels to choose from (after you long day of touring the island). You will never be bothered, cooked a made to order breakfast, and immediately be helped with any questions or needs that you may have. Now, my stay here was unique. I communicated to the owner, very easily, and without any delays, that it was my girlfriend's birthday and that I wanted to surprise her for her birthday and by proposing. Paboreal went above and beyond my expectations, and handled all of the arrangements (from flowers, cake, balloons, a special dinner (which was so delicious), singing happy birthday after doing a surprise room switch to even more surprising, and set up my proposal with a tarpaulin that was HUGE). It was the most special and amazing day/night of our lives, and I could not have done this without the selfless and beyond expectations help of everyone at Paboreal Boutique Hotel. I recommend this hotel 100% 5 stars A+!!! It was and probably always will be the best hotel I have ever been to. If you want to have a worry free, relaxing, and peaceful time will in Puerto Princessa - Paboreal will be the right place to lay your head and have some fun.

We went to Puerto Princesa for a family vacation, this is our first time travelling to Palawan. We stayed in the superior queen rooms. The rooms were clean, aesthetically beautiful with homey vibes and equipped with vibrant colors. We didn't really get to taste all the food in the restaurant since we had a pretty busy schedule on tours, but the complimentary breakfast was satisfactory enough for my taste (I don't know that of my other family members, though). The staff were really nice and accommodating. The tours they managed were commendable. Everytime we went back to the hotel, the rooms were neat and clean. This place is relatively far from the center of Puerto Princesa, but it was to our advantage since we wanted a quiet place to stay in. We didn't really get to swim in the pool but I observed that it was cleaned at least twice a day and well maintained. We slept well in the beds, the TV worked well and the cable channels were good enough. Overall, it was an excellent experience for us. If given the chance to travel to Puerto Princesa again, we would probably stay there again.

The staff is probably the best thing about this hotel. Other than one hotel I've visited in the bahamas this is the friendliest, most attentive staff I've seen anywhere. The owner is a great guy and made sure to come out say hello once a day for our entire stay. They make sure the trike drivers give you a good price and watch out for you. The food is pretty good as well although they don't serve lunch and breakfast is a little limited.
The wifi is superb and i was able to stream netflix almost my entire stay. The pool is wonderful despite being a little small to do laps. In the room the air worked great, the shower was nice and hot, in the bed was about as comfortable as anything ever been on in a resort.... Although it's very soft for those people who prefer a stiff mattress. It also has a little couch you can use as an extra bed or to sit and watch tv.
You have to catch a trike anywhere you want to go but other than that I can't recommend it highly enough.

The first thing is the very friendly staff and owner. They do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel is located in a rather quiet area. It's not far from down town , 5min by tricycle. We have really enjoyed our stay here.
