Hotel is situated in a big, wonderful garden. Great swimming pool. Lovely, attentive staff. Rooms quite big with good TV programming. WiFi in public areas. Hotel belongs to one of the most well known families in Puerto Princesa. They have their own private beach outside Princesa and invited us to come with them to this unique beach side. Great hospitality. We will be back soon.(Robinson shopping mall is only 5 minutes by tricycle, 40 Peso, Princess baywalk 20 minutes,70 Peso)

Our 5 day stay in the resort was surprisingly best 👍! The place is very conducive for family holidays. Their effort when we celebrated my daughter's birthday in the resort is highly appreciated and it was a good surprise for her.
The staffs are very kind..welcoming and caters all your needs as much as they can.
Customer Service is notably impressive.
I will certainly recommend Ponce De Leon
Garden Resort.

So we stay here for 2 nights. Their staff are friendly and the room is very clean. They are very accommodating and place is very artsy and family friendly resort. Ms. Rochelle, one of their employees, was very helpful to us and really did accommodate us in getting our dinner ready and ordering ahead of time so the chef could prepare and cook all the food. Even the owner was kind enough to come to us when we are eating our dinner during the 2nd day and asked if we are enjoying our stay there. She even gave us complimentary soup and fish fillet. The other staff are also excellent and the hotel/resort is quit new. Ponce De Leon Garden Resort is 7months only and there are still some construction going on. The only problem we have encountered here is that in Booking.com it was stated that there's free breakfast, but when we are here they told us that the free breakfast is only good for 2 people. We are 9pax who have checked-in there, so we have no choice to pay for the remaining 7 people's breakfast. But over-all, the service is great, they also have tours if you want. Will definitely be back here with my friends!!

We were told the hotel wouldn't honor their online rate for our one month stay here. There is a serious problem with ownership / upper management which is holding this place back from being a great place to stay in Palawan. I would highly recommend avoiding this place and staying at one of the other well ranked B&Bs listed here.

Our personal experience: I asked to see a room earlier in the day. The manager told me he would call me back in 30 minutes with what a potentially discounted rate could be after we talked about his favorite NBA team (the Bulls.) After several hours, still no call back so I phoned the hotel and talked to someone else who took my number and said they would call shortly. We did a short walk to the hotel later that evening so I could show my wife the spot and we showed an online rate of 40,000 for the month stay. The manager told us they recently hiked the rates up (50%) from this price. He talked to both the president and booking manager and they said if I booked at the rate they would not honor the reservation.

What this tells me, even if you do make an online reservation, they will do whatever they want to get out of it. Personally, I wouldn't want to risk making a reservation and having them back out of it last minute.

They have recently hosted our Islamic Wedding last January 7, 2017 including the reception of our guests who came from southern Palawan and our relatives from Visayas and Manila. Food was superb, service was great! We would like to extend our gratitude to Mrs. Pamela Ponce de Leon - Garcia, Mr. MJ and the rest of their crew for their warm welcome and smiles, professionalism, and hardwork in making our day special. Their rooms are spacious and cozy; flowers are always in bloom which made this place unique among other hotels in the city. Highly recommended to visitors and tourists who would like to experience Puerto Princesa in the most serene and beautiful way. Will definitely come back again and eat their sumptous meals and desserts! :)

This hotel has very local, unpretentious feel. The rooms are very clean and spacious and so is the bathroom. They also had an extension at the back for you to wash and dry clothes. The rooms face a garden and as we are big family, it is nice to sit at the terrace in the evening. The hotel staff is what makes our stay special. They have been going the extra miles to arrange for tours at very affordable rate and the tours are handled professionally. Wi-fi works fine in the room. Hot water works fine in one room but not the other. Breakfast really needs improvement. Otherwise, we are happy with this hotel as it is value for money.

The resort is big and lovely. The people at the reception are very accommodating and friendly. The room is big and clean. The only downside to this resort is the abominable service at their restaurant. We ordered just 4 shakes and 2 sandwiches. It took 45mins for them to get the shakes to our table, and that’s only because we already followed up. The sandwich was nowhere to be seen and they only started making it after we asked again! This resort seems popular with wedding receptions and if you’re unlucky enough to be staying while they’re preparing for one, good luck. It seems like even if you paid big money for your stay, your needs will take a backseat to wedding preparations. Take note, the resort does not have a convenience store and it’s far from places to buy food. Prepare to go hungry. EDIT: We gave the resto another shot and I am happy to say they more than made up for the previous mishap. Service was vastly improved. Staff was very apologetic and attentive.
