There is no doubt this is one of the best if not the best hotel on Palawan. And this comes from my Filipino friends in Puerto Prinesa. I stayed here for around 2 months on business in the best room at the hotel. It is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. I used the swimming pools, Jacuzzi and gym on a daily basis before going to work. The cuisine is tremendous. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner and the standard of the food is first class. All the staff were really friendly. Once you had finished breakfast you could walk outside and see the Carp and view the big dragonflies. I also wandered over to the water villas and used the kayak to go out to the sandbar. All of this is underpinned by all the experienced and friendly staff at the hotel. Thank you so much for making my stay so enjoyable.

We (a party of four, including two youths, ages 10 & 12) arrived at Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa for a two-night stay. This was during the period when the coronavirus was turning into a global pandemic. Although we were ourselves stressed from reading about a possible lockdown in Metro Manila (where we needed to fly back to exit), our short but memorable stay at this resort helped to alleviate our worries. Our room, which was a suite with pool access, was spacious and had a lovely view of the lounging area. Although we didn't get to try the Rice restaurant at night (since it was closed for renovations), it had a good Western-Filipino-Pan-asian breakfast buffet. The staff was very professional and attended to all our concerns. We also did the tour to the Puerto Princesa Underground River, organized by the hotel. This consists of a boat ride to the cave and then a slow canoe ride with audio-set commentary and a buffet lunch. Although we had to cut short our vacation at the resort, we would definitely come back.

This hotel is just fine if comparing for what we paid for. There was not water at nighttime. The swimming pool was not nice as the photos, and water wasn’t cleaned but full of leaves and dusts. The staffs are nice and helpful.
