This is our second stay here. Casa Mila Inn is a nice place. It has 24 hour frontdesk, a small restaurant, a pool, very clean rooms, toiletries, minibar. This stay was not planned since we booked another place, but that didn't work out. So immediately we decided to go back here to a well known place. Fortunately Casa Mila Inn was capable of housing us for a night. Lyn at the frontdesk recognized us from our last stay in 2018. She was very helpfull like the other staff here. The aircon in our room was not sufficient during the night that was very warm. Anyway I will rate our stay as successfull and we will for sure reccomend this place and come back here another time. Thank you Casa Mila Inn

The place was a little ways out so you gotta have everything you need handy. They can get a tricycle for you but those charge exorbitant prices. We arrived about 30 mins. earlier so it was understandable that the room was still being prepared. But that I had to ask the staff if the room was ready a little past 2PM before they directed us to our room was Strike 1 for me. The family room was large so we enjoyed having our "own space" within the room. It was also very near the pool (the window by my bed opens to it) so watching the kids was easy. The pool, however, was a real downer when you book the place online and you came for the pool (like what my daughter did). It looked really nice in the picture and the actual pool was, well, a pool; and the chlorine in the water was overwhelming. That was Strike 2. I didn't even bother to go in. Come dinnertime, we ordered our meal. It tasted good BUT they only had one platter of rice ready at such a time! We had to stop and wait for the second platter of rice. Can you imagine having to stop in the middle of your meal because you have to wait for the additional rice, that is a Filipino meal staple by the way. I can let that slide because you can choose to chat with the family and pick on the grilled stuffed squid while waiting. My breakfast platter, however, was a very oily number. I had bacon, eggs and toasted bread (with butter and jam). But we'll let that slide too. Upon checkout, I requested for receipts for our in-house meals. It was my way of verifying the cost of dinner because the amount relayed to me did not add right as opposed to what I computed from the menu when I placed the order and had it charged to the room. I was thinking maybe the additional fees and service charge added up and all that. The lady at the counter took forever (an exaggeration, of course) and was doing a side thing addressing someone who seems to be an employee but not in uniform at the time. A PWD walking with a cane as I am, I reached a point where I could no longer tolerate standing on pretty much one leg so I told her that I will leave my daughter to wait for the receipts while I take a seat at the tricycle they called for us since their van was not around. She was told that we should have given advance notice if we wanted receipts. I'm a bit taken aback because that has always been ready for me in the places I've been too. Don't they automatically prepare receipts for issuance after an order has been served and set for room charge? Those were dinner and breakfast and we checked out at 12nn. They had ample time to prepare it unless they had no intention to issue the receipts. That was definitely Strike 3 for me...and so this review. This may seem like a rant but I really just want the matter addressed. The place has potential but the customer service needs to improve. Whatever fell short of expectations in the amenities department could have easily been made up for by excellent customer service; but that too fell short. I am aware that managers and/or owners get to see these reviews so I am putting this out for them...because I believe that they would want this improved. I would like to be proven wrong, if I may say so. The room for improvement is the biggest room in the world, and my three strikes could be corrected easily so let's get to it. I'm local and I believe that we have the best resources - natural and human. Go for gold, Casa Mila Inn! I am rooting for you.

I really love this mini hotel. The room is clean with excellent and accomodating staff. The location is also good (10-15mins away from downtown at 70-80Php tricycle fare). They also arrange our tours at an affordable price. I will definitely be back here. Thank you Casa Mila!!!

we check in at Casa Mila, July 25 to july 31,’ weve got the accommodation from our travel agency. BIZ IT TRAVEL AND TOURS’ .. if your looking for decent price & clean accommodation, friendly staff here is the place for you!! they do have swimming pool, its quite small but we dont mind. we swam in the afternoon and feels like we own the pool. good timing and relaxing. they will ask for your room key to leave it at the front desk. in the beginning were not comfortable doing that. but they told us its for the safety matter. they will ask if you want them to clean your room they dont charged for this. the location is far from the city. you need to ride a tricycle cost 100pesos in the evening and 80pesos when it morning. if your looking for palawan experience!!! you must go for travel agency! and they will do everything for you ,’ you just need to relax and see the beauty of palawan !! check BIZ IT TRAVEL AND TOURS! You will have Mark’ he is the owner and he is very hands on. enjoy your vacation!!! 😘

Rooms are relatively new and well maintained. Very clean and very good price. Php50 tricycle ride to the center. Good location for those wanting to experience Palawan forest life. Close by Pristine beach. I would have given 5 stars if the wifi worked in the rooms.

Pros 1. Cleanliness - the room is very well maintained. the T&B is spacious and water pressure is good. 2. Customer Service - the staff always greet us warmly. they attend to our needs quick and very amenable to certain request. i.e. late night swimming (as long as not disturbing other guests). 3. Peaceful - you can sleep peacefully without any sound from passing cars. Cons 1. Location - it is a good 5-10 mins tricycle ride from the main road (80PHP per way). The road is a combination of smooth and rocky. tricycles are 24/7 and drivers are very honest when it comes to price. 2. corkage - there are minimal fees for bringing in beers. Im not sure if there is corkage for food. The staff didn't charge us corkage since they are not selling Smirnoff. They sell SML and pale pilsen. 3. Price of food - one meal costs around 250-300. Since the place is remote you have no choice but to order food from them if you dont want to go out. Nevertheless, the food taste good. But i think for the quantity/serving size, it can improve better.

Pros= new clean hotel, friendly staff, modern rooms with minibar and good flat screen tv. Wifi fast when it worked (a lot of the time there was no connection) and wifi worked in room also. They also let me checkin early. cons= terrible location, very little to walk to, local transport didnt want to go here as it was so isolated, tiny swimming/ plunge pool, fines for eating and drinking in the room! even drinking water was chargeable here!!! charges for airport transportation although booking said free roundtrip airport transportation, even at there 50% off rate this place was very expensive by local standards for what was offerred. Green park tourist inn was better located with free drinking water, more reliable wifi, better larger swimming pool, and free breakfast and it was nearly half the price of casa mila... as for the nearby beaches forget it unless you like paying admission fees for mangrove bathing! Blue lagoon would be better than here for a similar price level, as it has better swimming pool, location, and wifi. Plenty of other intown options near the airport are also far cheaper and preferable to casa mila.
