Amazing family owned and run eco-resort in the middle of the Palwan jungle. Facilities are beautifully built into the side of the mountain and resort is fully solar powered. We swam in the rain water pool, drank fresh water and thoroughly enjoyed our three days relaxing and trekking in the jungle. The resort arranged tours for nearby attractions including the Underground River and Kito-Kitu (Firefly) watching as well as our airport transfers. The rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. We look forward to visiting again. 💕

A peaceful stay in the jungle (aside from the lizards and insects which get into your room), however my partner caught salmonella from chicken served in the restaurant. We enjoyed the snorkelling trip and the beautiful views from the villa. Unfortunately the restaurant (both food and service) leave a lot to be desired.

If you looking for luxury, look somewhere else....but if you are looking for an unforgettable experience you are in the right place . Hotel is situated inside the tropical jungle , rooms are really big in Philippino style and perfectly clean (you sleep and you hear all nature’s sounds) and the food is really good ( the best he had so far in the Philippines) . The beach is 15-20 walk down a path into jungle (what an experience)and the staff are very helpful and kind (they helped us a lot with an accident we had on a motorbike) Definitely I recommend and looking forward to go back

Despite not having actually been to the resort (due to my personal logistical challenges), Romain, the general manager of the property, really has done such an amazing job being helpful and professionally representing the property that I feel compelled to express my gratitude and recommend this resort to anyone travelling. Planning a trip to Philipines has been extremely difficult from what I have experienced, 90% of the accommodation and transportation options have very delayed responses (more than 3+ days) IF at all responsive, and until I have spoken with Romain I have been frustrated for the most part. Romain on the other hand responds inquiries within 12 hours with lots of details, is very informative and helpful, and he made me feel welcomed before I even arrive. He was able clearly explain how he can arrange airport pick up, the underground river trip, and a ride to El Nido with details on the itinerary and logistics, and I can't appreciate him enough for his time and patience that is not found anywhere else I tried. I look forward to actually visiting one day with lots of friends and families and stay long enough to enjoy the jungle and their private beach fully!…

This was our first stop in the Philippines and what a great place to start our holiday. The setting was incredible, really is fully immersed in the jungle. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The staff were super helpful and a thank you to Roman who helped with transfers from airport and very much available throughout the day to answer any questions. Food also delicious! Highly recommend booking this place to stay.

Even prior to check-in the Manager was already very responsive to my communications. Roman accommodated my special requests for a little welcome surprise for my partner to be set up in our villa with a special hand made card. He also facilitated the transport to pick us up from the airport. Everything was a breeze from landing to check-in. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than the check-in time and yet we were ushered in as our villa was all ready. Roman, the manager, personally led us to our villa with the view of the sea through the lush towering trees. Within a couple of minutes and few gulps of the chillded San Miguel Beer Pale Pilsen waiting for us, we were awashed with utter relaxation and stillness that can only be expressed by our quiet grins of mixed excitement and awe. …

Me and my wife stayed here on october 16th to the 19th for 3 nights from when we first arrived to when we left we were completely amazed at this hotel. The hotel is eco friendly and feel many hotels should take note the rain water supplies the pool and water system for all the hotel rooms it's fantastic. Our room was brillant as it had great amount of space, the balcony aloud for an amazing view of the jungle and beach we found this area was very easy to relax in, the manager Romain was great took care of us and answered any questions we had even took the time to wish us well on our goodbye which I felt was a nice touch, there is a lot of trips available at the hotel which are great value we both really enjoyed them, the food is amazing and all the staff are lovely, the only downside I felt at the hotel was the food took a too long to come also the hotel was quiet at the time so if full I feel there would be an issue. All in all we loved this hotel and if back in the philippines would definitely visit again…

A real experience to stay in this amazing place which is 100% off the grid, eco-conscious, and creating all its own electricity and renewable resources. The rooms are massive in size including very large balconies with stunning views of the mountains and sea. Ours was the Rapitik and at 80sqm was perfect for the two of us. The rooms and all common areas are kept very clean and are simple in decoration but positively perfect for the setting. It is a true experience staying in the jungle, and in my view very luxurious. That said, please note there is no hot water in the rooms, nor are there air conditioners ... neither of which I found to be a problem. With the fans provided the rooms were airy and cool enough ... with loads of cross ventilation across the open windows with very effective mosquito screens installed. The cool showers I found to be refreshing and not a problem. The GM Romain Metaye was extremely helpful and accommodating to all our questions and requests. On the property there is a 25min hike down to a private beach which is untouched and pristine. There are also jungle walks on the property. The resort has a fantastic covered pool as well and the spa for massages is highly recommended. I had three massages in four days. The food at the inhouse restaurant is more than adequate, and the staff very friendly. Altogether an unforgettable experience and would love to go back anytime. …

We stayed 2 nights in the "Putian" villa over looking the jungle. The room was clean and quite big with a spaciaous balcony. A very comforting and calming place to relax. The restaurant food is terrific. Nice since there are no shops near by. We enjoyed the 6ft deep pool, the billiard table and the dart board at the bar. Most of all we enjoyed walking through the jungle trails to the secluded beach. Along the way we met a couple of farming/fishing families. In the morning we were serindaded for about 15 minutes by the jungle animals/creatures.

My family and I spent three nights here, and we loved it. The location was spectacular, in the middle of a jungle. We watched monkeys from our balcony, and were awakened in the morning by the singing of birds. The bungalow we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant, and we also had a very nice massage. We originally had a two-night reservation, but we liked it so much we extended for an additional night.
