Always my first choice when coming to Puerto Princesa. It is a no frills hotel, ac works well, room is clean and spacious, there's toiletries but I brought my own, the staff are helpful. And the price are always good! I think I average 1600-2000 pesos per night. Will always book this hotel when I'm here!

Room was spacious but poorly lit. The outlets were so loose that it was hard to charge my phone or keep anything plugged in. Breakfast included was not great. The wifi was so weak my poorly-connected American phone worked better most times without it. The gym they claim to have his one exercise bike and some weights so no they don’t have a gym. That’s a gross misrepresentation. I used the front desk to book a van to el Nido and was told it included drop off at my hotel in El Nido. It did not. Not only that but their van guy demanded payment for both taking me there and for the round trip back even though I wanted to pay once they fulfilled their obligation and actually picked me up and of course they did not and I had to get a different van service. Hard no on this hotel.

Booked this hotel due to the location close to airport as we were arriving late and wanted to continue early next morning to El Nido. We asked the hotel to prebook transport to El Nido because of late arrival but they responded it could be arranged at check-in, but then at check-in they said it was too late... I would say it's a 2,5-star hotel maximum and poor service from reception staff is the reason for low grading. Only two pillows for 4 persons. The breakfast buffet was emptied and we saw no effort to refill it.

This hotel is the closest to the airport (short walking distance) and it is clean. If you have a one day stay before a flight, it would probably work as long as you don't require any service at all, but in that case there is another new, clean, no frills hotel about 200 meters closer to town on the same side of the road that is just as clean and costs half as much.
The positives end there. In this price range I expect some level of competent service. It didn't happen.
I stopped by before I booked the room to inquire about internet as I needed to complete some important business and was assured that they have it. So I booked the room on that basis. After I returned and checked in, I went to my room and could not connect to the internet. I called the front desk and they said they would send an engineer. No one showed and I called back after half an hour. They told me again that they would send an engineer. After another 15 minutes or so the called and said, "The internet doesn't work anymore, sorry. We don't know when we will have it again." Strike one.
They gave me a breakfast coupon that said that it was good for one breakfast order. I checked the menu and there was no closing time listed. I came back at 10:15 am and handed them the coupon and was told that the buffet closed at 10. I said "I didn't know you had a buffet (no one mentioned it) but I will just order from the menu." That's when they bothered to tell me that it wasn't good for items on the menu--even though the coupon indicated that it was for one order. You don't order from a buffet. They brought me some leftovers from the buffet, all of which was cold and inedible. Strike two.
I had also dropped my laundry the day before. I thought it might be wise to give it to the hotel (which had much higher prices) because I did't have anything else to wear and I was making the long journey to El Nido the next day. They told me it would be ready in the afternoon the next day, and I said, "Early afternoon? Because I have a car booking." They said yes. Of course about an hour before I was leaving they told me there was a problem with the machine and my clothes were still dirty. Strike three.
I wouldn't book this place again.

Dear Mr Tom, We apologize for the inconvenience and exacerbation your stay at Fersal may have caused you. On the internet problems, we were short in communicating that our service provider had some server problems after several follow thru on our end and that could not have been fixed by the property. We failed to explain this well during your stay. While on the buffet breakfast, our Front Desk reminds all guests of the time frame of the buffet breakfast availability. Like other hotels the buffet breakfast is closed at a certain time, we apologize for not offering the ala carte breakfast menu. Nevertheless we have re-heated the buffet items and made sure the eggs served were freshly cooked . Lastly on your rushed laundry service, our service provider has given the service for free as a problem on their machine unexpectedly occurred and was not intentional. We reiterate our sincerest apologies for these and assure you nothing was done intentionally as to neglect our obligations to bring our valuable guests such as you only comfort, ease and convenience during your stay. We await your return sir and you may look for the General Manager so that we may be able to make up for these and take better care of your needs . Thank you and best regards.

The hotel smelled like burning most of the time... the breakfast food wasn’t great. Laundry service was good and completed quickly. The hotel itself appeared to be deteriorating. Room was big enough and they gave us free toothpaste and toothbrushes which was very nice.

Our room is spacious with 3 single-sized beds. Toilet is a con- with automated self cleaning bidet. In room safety deposit box and complimentary coffee and water are provided. Check in service was fast and very accomodating, provided shuttle airport service. They only need to improve the soundproofing of the room and maybe provide extra pillows if requested. Over-all experience was very good, great value for the money! Recommended!

After a bad hotel experience in El Nido i booked 3 rooms for my family at Fersal Hotel last June 10,2018.They came earlier for check in time from El Nido,at beginning the receptionist asked for a fee of 1,000 pesos per room for early check in .They are going to a Half-Day Tour for Puerto Princesa so I told them just bring their stuff at the van but the manager of Fersal Hotel agreed to let them in early ,so thats nice of them to do that.Rooms nice and clean.They enjoyed the free buffet breakfast.Plus free airport shuttle.Overall they enjoyed their stay at Fersal Hotel and I will book this again in the future.

We stayed here one night before boarding a Liveaboard. Seemed high price for the service. Asked for someone to come to our room as the safe was locked closed. After 1.5 hours 3 phone calls they never did show. Breakfast was poor. However when we returned from our curse we had a 9 hour wait for our flight. They let us store our bags gave us WiFi and used the facility free of charge. Very nice to us!!

Hi....actually when we booked from Ferzal we didn't came straight from the airport (we just came from another resort). You can call the hotel if your reservation includes free airport transfer... if not...
Just take a tricyle if you have lots of luggage... or just walk from airport to the hotel as it is really just so near. After exiting the airport gate, turn right and walk few walks and cross the street, the hotel is just right across.
