Stayed here overnight as my preferred resort next door was fully booked. While the room was rustic and spartan, with 2 tiny single beds, it came complete with the usual amenities- cable tv, hot shower, and airconditioning. It rained all night and I wondered how I would get around the expansive property, and lo and behold, there was an umbrella propped up outside my door when I came out of the room. Breakfast was included, cooked to order and was delicious. You can have this served by the beach bar, at the restaurant, or in one of the huts. The super plus here is that the room and bathroom were extremely clean!

We stayed for 3 nights. The place has lot of potential and we choose this place because of it's location and we wanted to go out far from the noisy city.
The pick up was smooth and on time. The room was great and internet connection was even better than in other places in Philippines. A plus would be to have a fridge in the room as the reception and the restaurant is closing at 8pm.
We enjoyed our stay, but what there were few dissapointing things. When we arrived we were probably the only guests who have been there at this time and we have been told, - when, where to eat and in couple of days later a group of other tourists arrived they were able to have breakfast outside their bungalow and they were able to have a dinner later (we have been told to have a dinner by 6pm).

I had a culinary crisis and had a massive cravings for chips - we have been told that they do not have chips, but when we ordered a sandwich it arrived with handful of chips and that staff was still saying that they do not have chips.

The breakfast was mostly cold and once we got old butter without any apology whatsoever.

The place is bird lover's paradise and as said there is lot of potential but next time we probably pay extra and we will choose the hotel next to bahay kubo.

Quite literally. Away from highway, away from noise, even the tide was also away lol-- can't be found. Beach is nowhere to be seen. Almost knee high with mangroves. Room was nice with all the facilities you will need, even basic necessities from toiletries to insect repellant.

Room: well lit, AC in good condition, comfy bed, cable tv

Food: they have a restaurant that serves food in their gazebo. Good breakfast and dinner though a bit pricey. Boodle fight lunch at one of the cottages by the beach

Awful shacks for rooms. A mangrove trying to pass as a swamp. The grounds were a dirt road carpark. They charged European prices for rooms. When I told them their ad on Agoda was misleading they blanked me. Their rooms were truly shabby. The water was very far away and the beach was very dirty. The 'food court' was a shack as well. I wasn't expecting anything fancy but even this took my breathe away mostly because of the prices they are charging.

We booked this place for an overnight family reunion. When we arrived, the gazebo and the rooms were dirty. The aircon in some rooms we rented were not functioning well. Leaking pavilion. Night came, my nephew was carrying his sleeping daughter to one of the rooms when he fell into an open pit(!) along the walkway due to poor lighting within the resort. He got a big wound on his knee and some scrapes. Fortunately, his daughter was unharmed. Manager was nowhere to be found nor seen even until we checked out the next day. Need I say more?

Our agent booked us here, not the deluxe hotel we wanted. Wow. At least the shacks were new and the inn keeper (Rose) was a sweetheart. No decent beach, unless you're a kite surfer. There is supposed to be a pool going in and a clubhouse, but that is in the future. The "food court" was a snack bar. Still it's a bit of a stretch to get anywhere but Rose will arrange a motortrike for your transport to town or anywhere. If you want isolation and a pretty beach, this is it. At least there's consistent electricity and toilet seats.

We were 20 persons, my 16 yr daughter birthday and her friends and the accommodation, food, service and general surroundings were excellent. The resort is new and very well situated being some 25min from the airport. The best though is Ms Rose the manager who can arrange anything, tours, vans, food and came up with such good ideas as what to do. We all enjoyed ourselves.
The beach is great, and the sea clean and clear but level of water is shallow from 30cm to 120cm. A swimming pool is being built at the resort and should be ready in early 2013.
The sun rise at 5.30am is truly wonderful.

We all 20 dined at Kinabuchs Grill & Bar on Rizal Rd. and all agreed it was the best meal we have ever had in the Philippines. Excellent value and choice, try the crocodile the veg is a bit spicy but the taste unique.

The place is near Microtel, on the same beach, where you pay more than double prices. We were the only guests at Emereld Playa and well looked after, especially by Rose, the manager. There is a big pergola where we took our breakfast ( very nice with lots of fresh fruit) and dinner (limited choice), but the restaurant of Microtel is nearby. We enjoyed very much having the whole place and the beach mostly to ourselves.
Perhaps the prices are too high compared to what you get in town, which creates unreal expectations, but one tends to forget that people who visit the resort also pay for it. The cabins are basic, with aircon, good enough for travelers of our kind.
It's not an ideal swimming place due to the tides, but we liked very much the different sceneries coming with it. If you look for a good swimming place, don't go to Puerto Princesa.
All and all we were very happy about our stay.

Excellent, very-very beautiful place - clean, empty beach and clean, warm sea and a mangrove bush around! But I must say you, that ebbs and flows there are very strong.
Nice cabanas with everyday cleaning. Very polite and helpful stuff: They arranged my transfer from airport (and waits me for 2h when my flight was delayed) and back. They serves my breakfast on the beach when I've asked for, called for taxi to the city and so on - they are really excellent people who rarely meets. My great thanks to them all!
I must say, that this place is not near the city - you cannot walk to city and you cannot get a cab by yourself - the only way is a call for tricycle by telephone. Also the only place to eat there is the restaurant of this hotel - not too bad, but it closes at about 8p.m. - If you want to dance, shop, eat (and to do anything else except laying on the beach) you need ride to the city. Yeah, as for me, it is a merit of this hotel, but you must know about this :)
