The hotel would be considered as mid- range by American standard. Staff is very helpful, going out of their ways to find the information you need. Good amenities. The only hick is that there are night crawlers, which would scurry along as soon as you turn the lights on.

It's a decent 3 star hotel for its price. It's located in Puerto Princesa's market place. Close to baywalk area. Puerto Princesa's version of pier. The hotel is right next to a grocery store and a pharmacy. You can tell that it's owned by a Chinese as the place has also tiangge or market place on 2nd and 3rd floor. There are stores to buy furniture, cellphone, and knock off designer items. My only gripe about this hotel is that they're stingy on their food. Their breakfast hour is from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. We came around 8:00 am. It's a buffet style and almost all their dishes were gone. What I noticed is that they don't even care to replace the food.

This hotel appears to have been intended as a luxury hotel. Maybe they ran out of money or something. Anyway, most is acceptable. Clean rooms, good service, decent location.

But the BEDS! God, what a horror show! Did they buy them from Guantanamo? Torture. Imagine a thin bit of foam rubber over a rock hard platform. Two nights with very little sleep.

If they replaced the beds, this would be an acceptable place to stay in PP. You might want to check the room before you commit.

This is the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in! Do not book it! The hotel is located in a very dirty area, far from anything at all that you would visit as a tourist. The food is very expensive and absolutely awful. It’s a buffet and everything was cold, the little amount of choices they had on offer, nothing remotely tasty at all! Dinner for 2 with 4 beers was $1,7000 PHP which translates to $43 Canadian dollars, and the room was $80. Far too expensive for this lousy place and the terrible food.

After a few people tested positive for COVID on our scuba boat, the authorities required us to stay at this hotel to be tested the next day. The assigned me a room with no windows or sunlight. There were cockroaches throughout the room. If you don’t have a choice, stay here or if you like cockroaches stay here, otherwise don’t stay here!

My experience with the staff at this hotel is awful. We were not staying at this hotel, but we were recommended to book the tour to see the whale shark there. We made the Reservation and when we go on time for the Transfer to pick us up it tells us that it has been cancelled. We traveled to port princess a day earlier just for this activity. We had more Reservation Options and said no because we had already done it with them. In short, we ran out of tour because of them, they had our phone number and didn't let us know. A tremendous lack of professionalism. I don't think I'll go back to port princess, but if I go back safely I won't stay in this hotel or crazy. Not recommended

I recently visited the Palawan island and before I make a final reservation to my hotel accommodation or any things that I need to do in that particular place I normally do a research.I study the do’s and don’t,I weight peoples opinion recommendations and points of view and so far this hotel in Puerto Princesa has a good review when it comes to location and convenience to the stores. The hotel is located in the busy street of Malvar street, very accessible to transportation, store ,malls ,public market ,food chain restaurant and it’s close to the airport. So finally I decided to booked this hotel .On our day of our arrival ,it was ok normal check in but when my husband started asking question to the receptionist who checked us in,I noticed she started to get irritated to answering my husband her facial features and body language says it all but I did not say anything at this time. The second day we went to eat breakfast at their dining hall and my husband slipped on a wet floor with no signs ,he almost fell and when I looked up a part of the ceiling damage with water dripping on the same area where the wet floor was. I told my husband to let the staff know so that they can put a sign ,so that nobody else will slip and fall .I was just observing and non of the staff address that issue ,they kept on going to their own business.
The 3rd day of our stay , we woke up early and planned to eat breakfast before our tour guide will pick us up at 6:45 am.We are a timely mannered people,we planned ahead of time but when we got to dining area the place was not ready, the kitchen just started putting some of the breakfast food, the staff who was assigned in the reception area was not in the mood that day ,she was still mopping the floor on the dining area while food is being taken out from the kitchen, and when my husband approached and asked her if we can get in,she then gave us a bad attitude with her whole place hanging down to the floor, and that made me so furious that my husband and I had to confront her .At first she was ignoring us but then my husband requested to speak to a manager and initially they were hesitant to give us a name and how to contact their manager. The other complaint was my husband saw a cockroach crawling on top of the breads wc he was not able to take a pic .sec that little critter was fast to move.
Before we went out for our tour ,we requested the front desk if we can talk to the manager to address the issue and our complete dissatisfaction with regards to the staff in the dining area(The staff reason was she was upset with her co-worker and she took her anger to us w/c is a big No to me).
After we came back from our tour ,we were entertained by the Resident Manager Ms Guen Villanova who already address the issue to her staff before she even talk to us.I gave her 💯 credit of doing a good service recovery and made her staff turned from 30 degrees to a 360 degrees customer service and hopefully they will continue to provide their customer a 💯 % customer service /satisfaction .Ms Villanova was open to any suggestions and criticism from the customer w/c makes a good Manager ..There are more room for improvements .

We stayed here for 3 nights when we visited Palawan as it was the only option available which could accommodate all 7 of us. We initially thought we had booked a penthouse suite for all 3 nights until we were told on arrival that they had made an error and had to move us to separate rooms on the final night. We were compensated with a meal voucher at the hotel restaurant (average at best). The hotels best attribute is the size of their rooms which are quite spacious. Other than that, I would not stay here again. The wifi is very weak, the hotel itself is very old and in desperate need of some renovations (wallpaper pealing off, very old carpet, towels etc), there is no pool at the hotel, breakfast was very ordinary and hygiene was kind of poor (noticed some small roaches crawling around). If I had a choice, I would stay somewhere else if visiting Palawan in the future.
