The value of this hotel is probably one of the best things we did on our trip. Great restaurant and amazing view. I can only recommend this place. The rooms are non-air conditioned but they are placed in the heart of nature. It’s both a good getaway from the noisy puerto princessa and also close to underground river. 5/5

Exceptional place if you want to get close to nature. Truly friendly and helpful staff members. Great food (also many vegetarian and vegan options)! Stunning views :) Ask for the private snorkelling/boat trip! We really enjoyed our stay and the quiet pool area.

We stayed at this hotel only 1 night and I must say it is really a special place. It takes about an hour to reach it from Puerto Princesa and is located on top of a small mountain. From the pool you can see a beautiful sunset and the hotel restaurant is really good, they have a wide choice of dishes for both breakfast and lunch and dinner and they are all really hearty and delicious. The room we had had a beautiful view of the sea and they are all really quaint stilts. The bathroom is well stocked and very large while the bed is equipped with mosquito net as the roof above the room is not closed. The downside of sleeping in these “huts” is definitely the fact that there is a lot of noise at night for all the animals around. It is definitely a nice experience but I do not Recommendation for more than two nights. The hotel was very helpful to rent your scooter to reach the underground river (30 min from the hotel).

The huts are very basic but fine and clean with a fan. Our private bathroom was not attached to our room, but to our terrace, which was fine. The view from our terrace was also great. Buena Vista is not really a village, there are no shops, so make sure you have done any shopping in advance.
