Detailed Reviews
Good value for your money. We got a deal via ensogo worth 799/night with breakfast for two and airport transfers! That's a steal! Location is great as it's very near the restaurants at manalo and rizal ave. Rooms are clean and AC is sufficient. Breakfast is good, their tapa is very tender. The only thing that needs improvement is the water pressure in the 3f since it is so weak.
Overall we're glad we booked this place and I highly recommend it to everyone who's on a budget but doesn't want to compromise quality. Thanks to the staff for helping us make our trip memorable.

+1
The place is conveniently located right in the city. The room is cozy and clean with cable and wifi and comes with free breakfast. The people that work there are nice and professional. There's free shuttle service to the airport. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

My mother allowed me to tag along in one of her conventions and I was able to go to the one held in Puerto Princesa. The event was to take place at Skylight convention center, and Adventurer's place was right in front of it. Our flight from Manila to Palawan was delayed (3 hours if I remembered correctly) and the hostel had a car service available to pick us up from the airport. I was actually a bit worried that car wouldn't be able to get us and we weren't able to contact the hostel that our flight was delayed but we were very happy to find out that the car service waited for us anyway.
The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. There is also cabled TV and Wi-fi. We were also given extra pillows free of charge. The breakfast was good as well but you only have the option between Tocino and I-can't-remember-what-the-other-meal-was because I really liked the Tocino I decided to stick to it. If you're going to stay for more than 3 days, you might feel the need to skip breakfast otherwise, enjoy the daily meal of tocino and the other option for breakfast :)

Good points: 1) We were booked on the trips (firefly sightseeing and underground river) that we want although we gave short notice. 2) Seasons Guesthouse have good & clean rooms and good location
For Improvement: 1) The rooms were nice but the toilet and bathroom was clogged. We asked to be transferred to another room but our request was not entertained; we were informed that all rooms were booked although we did not see much guests around. 2) After the Honda Bay trip, we hoped to have a relaxing night in our room by watching TV while eating the pizzas that we ordered. Unfortunately, we were told by the administrator, in a very stern manner, that we cannot eat the pizza inside the room. It was only after some arguments and after telling her that "not eating inside the room" was not indicated in the house rules that she grudgingly relented.

On arrival the staff were unfriendly and not welcoming. We then saw the ‘xtra’ board where we had to pay for towels, blankets, pillows, toiletries etc.
The staff were rude whilst trying to explain and didn’t communicate well with us at all.
It’s a shame as it has real potential as a modern hotel. Just needs some new staff and policies :)

I had booked a last minute flight to Puerto Princesa and then I started to freak out about where I should stay. I wanted something budget friendly, and close to town. I didn’t have any clue where anything was and was trying to take a guess by just looking at Google Maps. When I came across Xtravelers, it was the “view of the water” that sold me. I booked two nights and bam, that was that.
I contacted the hotel to let them know that I was coming and they sent someone to the airport to pick me up when my flight landed.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by JayAnn. She was super friendly and made me feel right at home. I hadn’t fully checked in yet, and she was already asking me what I wanted for breakfast the next morning. I told her I didn’t eat meat, and she asked a few questions, as do most people trying to clarify my “percentage” of being a vegetarian. She said it was no problem.
There’s no elevator here, so she walked me up to the third floor and there was that “view of the water” I was promised. I was in love already.
The room itself didn’t have a view of the water, instead, it looked out onto the street. It was so quite basic. A bed, dresser, tv, desk, and an attached bathroom. It was just what I needed.
The breakfast JayAnn had talked to me about was a variation of eggs, fruits, veggies and rice each morning.
JayAnn greeted me every morning and even helped book my Underground River Tour. I also ended up staying an extra night and the process to extend my stay was painless.
Would I stay here again? Yes, in fact I did.
PS. I scored a better deal on Agoda than what they were offering me in person, so I stood at the check-in counter and booked my room that way when I extended my stay the second time.

We stayed on 2 separate occasions(in different rooms each time) upon arrival to Palawan and prior to departure. The guesthouse is clean and modern and had some of the most reliable internet and hot water that we experienced while in the Philippines. Breakfast each morning was basic but good and seemed to have different items each morning. The location is a bit further from a lot of the restaurants along Rizal Ave, but it was never an issue and we always walked even at night. The service was fantastic, we were able to book tours/vans even on short notice. All of the staff were helpful and caring and always greeted us with a smile. Paying a bit extra to stay here was worth it for the comfort it provided.
