The pictures truly reflect how nice this place is. All the staff were excellent and always tried to make the experience as best as possible. The breakfast included was also one of the best we had while staying in Palawan. All ammenties were kept very clean.

Had a great experience here, all staff were friendly and very helpful. Food at Lilian cafe was amazing and the room and facilities were outstanding. Staff were very accommodating with allowing us to use their shower and spa facilities after check in while we waited for our transfer to El Nido. Highly recommend.

Balai Princesca is an oasis in the middle of bustling Puerto Princesa. It is a five-minute ride to the City Center and Baywalk and less than 10 minutes to the airport. The decore is extremely serene and architecturally interesting. Everything is pretty much walkable but the hotel is very good about getting a tricycle at any time (80-300 pesos depending on the distance). This gem of a hotel has only five rooms. We stayed in the family-sized room (we were upgraded). It had two separate showers and four beds! For the two of us, it was more than spacious. There is a spa on the second floor where you can get a massage at a moment’s notice. There are three saunas and a hot tub as well. It seems counterintuitive to do a sauna and hot tub in the heat. But after a massage, it felt amazing and it actually made us feel more acclimatized to the tropical heat. The massages are highly recommended, particularly the 90-minute Balai Special and 90-minute Combination. The Lilim Cafe in the hotel is one of the restaurants in Puerto Princesa. Finally, the staff really took care of us. They picked us up from the airport. The final thing that made it truly amazing is that they arranged for us to have our 24-hour antigen test at the hotel for us. In summary, an amazing hotel with terrific staff, a good restaurant, and a spa to boot.

We are checking out today after 4 nights here at Balai Princesa and every minute of our stay has been wonderful. Our whole family felt like this has been our home away from home. From the moment we had been greeted at the airport and brought here, every single member of their staff had made sure we are comfortable and made everything convenient for us. We sometimes feel like we’re long lost friends and family. I usually mention a few special members of the staff who have shown exceptional customer service, but for Balai Princesa literally every member of the staff has been exceptional: everyone from reception, F&B, housekeeping, and the spa. If I mention all their names, I would probably not have enough space left on this post. And my usual detailed breakdown is below: Room: spacious and very clean. The hotel had only opened in Jan2019 so it still feels new. The aircon is can be adjusted to your preferred temperature and you can choose to always come home to a cold room to relieve you of the heat and humidity outside. There is no tv in the room, but if you have a mobile device, then wifi is strong enough for you to watch Netflix before you go to sleep :) Bed: moderately firm mattress and pillows, just the way we like it. We had a goodnight sleep every time. Food: top-notch. Every single item on the menu that we tried had been delicious. Facilities: There are two jacuzzi tubs at the back for you to relax and while away time on a quiet early evening before heading to dinner. Then before heading off to bed, try the signature massage their spa and all those tight and sore muscles from walking and swimming will be relieved. Service: We could be singing high praises even long after we’ve left Balai Princesa. We’re a family of seasoned travelers and we all agree that their customer service is one of the best that we have ever experienced. They are really at the top of the charts. Over-all: Every traveler has their own style. If you are a traveler who prefers to stay downtown and within walking distance of shopping malls and the main street, then maybe this isn’t the place for you. For those who are looking for quiet and comfort and relaxation, stay here in Balai Princesa. You are guaranteed to feel refreshed and rejuvenated after your stay...and if ever you’re returning to Puerto Princesa, you’re surely going to want to come home to Balai Princesa again.

My family and I had an amazing stay! The staff greeted us when we walked in and made us feel like celebrities! Nice touch after a long day of traveling! We could tell we were going to have a nice stay when we walked in the door. The rooms are nicely decorated and VERY CLEAN. The staff was VERY accommodating! The staff always greeted with a smile..even in passing. We loved our stay here and this will be our hotel of choice when we come back. Thank you to the Balai Princesa staff for the warm reception and the Lilim Cafe waiters and cooks for the delicious breakfasts and meals! If we could give you a 10 star rating we would!

A pleasant surprise and amazing service... Entering Balai Princesa takes you to a place of deep relaxation. Engaging staff will gladly give you a tour of the hotel and spa. Jacuzzi always replenished with fresh water, new robes and soft thick towels. Wine can be requested while in the jacuzzi. Massage oils are handcrafted, mixed to your liking... I recommend Coconut oil with fresh mint!

Well, I must say we loved our dining experience in Balai Princesa. Ambiance is really peaceful and relaxing. Price of main courses ranges from P240 to P310. They have a unique menu which is called Adobo de Tablea (Chocolate) and also Adobo de Gata (Coconut Milk). Both are must tries! Our favorite however was their Beef Salpicao and Lilim Kaldereta. It was really good! They also have accommodation rooms, a spa/massage room, a sauna, and two hot tubs or locally known as jacuzzi. Massage services as well as sauna and hot tub are open for walk-in guests. They do not have a swimming pool. The parking area is good for maybe 5 to 6 vehicles at a time. There is a designated parking area for motorcycles and it is spacious. Easy to park even big motorcycles. It is located along Socrates Road in front of the old radio station building.

The best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at, and will ever stay at! If you are ever staying in Puerto Princesa this is the place to be! The service is fantastic! Because it is only 5 rooms the staff has enough time to cater to all your needs! The driver drove us around during the day, to the mall and the marked. The breakfast was delicious. I had requested something gluten free for breakfast, and they made an entire gluten free breakfast menu, which was as tasty as the other breakfast menu! The massages are also incredible, and is a must if you ever stay here! We all tried the Balai Signature Massage, and everyone agreed that it amazing, and would definitely do it again if we had the time! If we ever go back to Puerto Princesa we will definitely come back to Balai Princesa!
