Pro: Perfect location and overall clean, comfortable room. Swimming pool is small but, doesn't matter, it can be refreshing to use it after your journey. This place is a great choice in Puerto Princessa, real isolated island in busy city Contra: Bathroom is very small, and the toliet flush didn't work. My room lied just at the swimming pool, which is nice but local guests were very loud there until late evening.

We, a family of four booked two rooms here on our trip through Palawan. We liked it enough that we returned for one more night on the return journey. Rooms were basic, but had what you need to get a good sleep. Shower was warm and water pressure adequate. The hotel helped book us into a tour the underground river and another for the fireflies. Breakfast was either eggs or pancakes, and our whole family loved the pancakes. Location is just off the main drag, Rizal Ave and a short walk from the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, as well as the Baywalk. We'd gladly stay here again even though we didn't use the small pool.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 nights while stopping over in puerto prinsesa during our Philippines trip. When we arrived the man met us at the taxi and offered to carry our bags for us, check in was easy enough and he explained when breakfast was etc. (We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that). He then showed us to our room which was next door to reception, the room was nice, basic and clean, however we only had 1 towel between the 2 of us but we carry micro towels with us so this wasn’t a problem. The bathroom was also clean and a bar of soap and sachet of shampoo was provided, we did have a couple of issues with the shower as it only works with cold water and sometimes can not be very powerful but this was fine for 2 nights. The toilet was temperamental as well, sometimes it wouldn’t flush. The pool was right outside the rooms and was a good size with swim up bar, but the women always look busy with the children so we didn’t use the bar. There are 3 sunbeds around the pool as well. The beds are comfy however it is noisy late and night and early in the morning as I think the owners children play around and in the pool so it can be hard to sleep! The location is ok, within walking distance to numerous shops/stalls selling cheap clothes, and a shopping mall with food places and a bit supermarket.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We arrived late and had to make a change in the booking and it all worked out well. Location was central but still quiet and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was simple and nice, they organized airport transfer for us as well. Great value for money.

Mariner's Pension House is a nice hotel with a swimming pool. The room is not big and clean, the bathroom a bit small but ok. The location is quite good, not far from the main street. There is a choice of four breakfasts but they aren't very tasty.

Great location, within walking distance of all the main attractions and good restaurants. Our room was basic, but comfortable. After showering, the bathroom was a bit of a swamp because the tiled floor wasn't sloped toward the drain. We got used to having wet feet in the bathroom. The sitting area on the second floor was comfortable. The pool felt refreshing after walking around in the heat and humidity. The breakfasts were adequate. It was nice to have a choice. The French toast was my fave. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we were late getting picked up for our island-hopping tour, one of the staff called the tour operator for us.

This place is OK near to most things in town room basic but does breakfast OK nothing special pool is good staff helpful but did not inter act much stayed here 2 nights I felt that was about enough time in this city

The best for budget travelers. Clean room, quite and accommodating staff. The awesome thing they have mini swimming pool.
We really enjoyed our two days stay in this place. just room 205 a little probs with aircon not too cold.
location is perfect near to market, s.m mall and business centers. They have generator and 24 hours front office.
Just hoping they can fix the out let in the room. We can't charge our mobile properly.
