Scenic five acre resort on an undulating country farm close to Luzviminda; 30km south of Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Accommodation includes five Kubos - bamboo bungalows situated in our mango tree plantation. Each kubo contains a King size bed, tiled flooring, balcony and either A/C or electric fans. Tented accommodation is also available at a lower daily rate. The toilets and showers are in a separate block close to the kubos, there are currently no en-suite facilities. Two en-suite cottages with kitchens are under development, available from late 2017. We have a 15m x 10m swimming pool with jacuzzi and swim up bar, our restaurant serves a good variety of Western, vegetarian and local food, our full English breakfast and beer battered fish and chips are very popular with our guests. Other facilities include the Tree house massage room, separate treatment room and relaxing gardens, complemented by a hot tub where you can relax after your treatment.

We spend a month at Al Hamra and loved every minute of it. The owners, staff, and residents were all so welcoming and friendly it felt like we were one of the family.
The food was incredible, I loved their full English breakfast! Cars available for rent, snorkeling available, Sunday boat party at the white beach, absolutely wonderful time.
While we were there we took our dive courses with the absolutely wonderful Janette and are now both advanced PADI divers. She really took her time and ensured we understood what and why w were learning each skill. Highly Recommended!
I couldn't say enough about this resort, it's definitely a must in the Philippines! I would even go as far as to say that this resort is worth the trip alone!
Close to Honda Bay, many waterfalls, attractions, and Puerto Princesa is only 30km away!
The pool is stunning, the facilities are wonderful, AC in each cottage, everything is spotless. It's just amazing!

Al Hamra Jungle Resort is about 32 kms from P Princesa and provides the visitor with a peaceful and beautiful place to spend some time away from the city. We passed by for a meal and refreshments after a tough motorbike ride on the west coast. Here you can find some British favorites on the menu such as fish and chips, shepherds pie, sausages etc. It was so good my friend ordered two servings of shepherds pie. Drinks were a reasonable price. There is an 8 feet deep swimming pool and lots of things to keep you occupied. There are several bungalows for rent , complete with kitchen. Looking forward to my next visit.

The hotel entrance gate was locked when I arrived at 8pm so I had to squeeze between the gate or jump the fence which was dangerous because of the spikes. There is a sign advising the gate is only locked from midnight but maybe because the internet is patchy, it didn't look like the staff were expecting me. The resort provided Agoda with a contact number that was not reachable. I had to speak to the owner who was overseas, she had a story about the Agoda account being run by a scammer and was not able to receive my money so they were asking for cash payment or for me to leave. The hotel staff were apologetic and thankful for the steps I took to resolving this issue for her but it should not have added to my stress as a guest for the 2-3 hours of my life I won't get back. I stayed here based on past reviews referring to a vegan breakfast. It was a little disappointing for the price but considering I was the only hotel guest, they did the best they could. The hotel is undergoing upgrades so it will look really nice once completed and these issues are addressed.

There is nothing bad about this place. Good and settings are great. The girls who work there so very friendly and helpful. Looks like they will also be offering Scuba diving soon along with open water courses. What a great place to learn to dive. See you again soon !

Firstly it was so nice to be away from throngs of tourists. Hosts Colin and ate Mailyn are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The local beach is approx 3 kms away and is a stunning pristine white beach. We were the first guests to try the scuba diving and we were not disappointed by the stunning array of corals. If that wasn't enough we glimpsed a whale shark from the boat ! Food there was also superb and I dare you to try the all day British breakfast.......I ate nothing the rest of the day. Can't wait to get back there and jump in the super clean Al Hamra pool !

Just spent two nights in paradise. If you want to get away from the crowds this is the place to be. Great hosts Colin and Mailyn. Food is the best and as a swimmer I really appreciated the large deep super clean pool. Was lucky enough to be the first scuba diving guests and again it was outstanding. I will have to return there soon !
